15/10/2025: It's been around for decades; in recent years, it has changed hands several times. The current management is made up of experienced people in the industry. The place could perhaps use a makeover; however, the large fireplace at the entrance is very beautiful. Recommended for lunch, for quality/quantity/price. Prices obviously vary for dinner and special events. Easy parking.

11/10/2025: It had been a few years since I had been there, I was very satisfied and the REAL barbecue on the huge fireplace in sight was excellent

09/10/2025: We came here based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, we were incredibly disappointed. The portions were small and the food was tasteless (from the curry to the garlic naan to the rice). My curry tasted only of tomato sauce: from being afraid it might be too spicy before tasting it, to ending up being cloyingly sweet. I'm sad to leave this review, especially because the guys are extremely kind. I don't know if we just had an unlucky day, but I know we won't give it a second try to find out.

24/08/2025: In the city center, yet in a quiet spot nestled in the cloister. It had piqued my interest some time ago, and I must say that what we ate far exceeded my expectations: tasty, impeccable dishes. Lots of options, truly high quality. We'll definitely be back. Well done, well done!

16/09/2025: We stopped for an aperitif. The prices were fair, and the aperitif was very good, accompanied by a good selection of food. Good service.

23/08/2025: We had an aperitivo, and the food was perfect for an aperitivo. Three stars instead of five isn't meant to be disparaging, but it can't be compared to dinner or lunch, which is why it's three stars. It's typical aperitivo fare, so perfect. We like it because it reminds us of past moments. The mojito I had was delicious, the best I've had in about five years.

02/10/2025: It's been years since I've been to Roadhouse... and rightly so! The sandwich was awful. The meat was undercooked, half raw, and full of liquid that completely soaked the bread. One of the three sandwiches came out without bacon, what can I say... Cooked with their feet! And there was no one in the restaurant, so rushing the shortage certainly wasn't the reason. The quality was zero. MC and Burger King are starred sandwiches in comparison. The service is good: friendly and fast, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. The price is certainly not cheap, especially considering the quality of the food!

21/09/2025: It's been years since I've been to a roadhouse, and I realized I was right! Exorbitant prices for fast food. With the money you can spend at a roadhouse, there are better restaurants with quality food! If I'd thrown my money down the toilet, I'd have felt better than giving it to them! Never again in my life.

24/09/2025: The room and bathroom are spacious and very clean. A lovely surprise for us! The place is charming and the staff is great! The lady who cleans the rooms is extremely kind and professional; it's perfect every time she comes. The proximity to the old town allows for beautiful walks every day. Thank you. We visit Ferrara every year and will be back.

01/09/2025: What can I say.... I had a cake made for 15 people for my daughter's birthday... It looked like a wedding cake... and what's wrong with that?? The problem is that half the cake was made of styrofoam covered in cream... for 107 euros I'd say it's a scam... I paid 60 for the same cake but without the styrofoam... This attitude is unbecoming of a business that goes by the name of "pastry shop", it's a provincial attitude... Not even the worst station cafes sell styrofoam products... They've lost a trusted customer...

17/08/2025: We were here this morning: the advertised closing time is 1:00 PM, but they rushed us in at noon because they were "closing." If the advertised time is 1:00 PM, then it should be respected: 1:00 PM is 1:00 PM, not noon. It's a shame, because the aperitif isn't bad, but enjoying it while feeling like you have to rush is truly disgusting. Terrible experience, we'll never return. If you don't want to work, stay there; people, especially on Sundays, want to relax without any rush.

25/08/2025: Nice little bar. We ordered hugo, served in Italian style, and they served a small snack with the cocktail. The price is very reasonable.
