01/06/2025: Unfortunately, our experience at this sandwich shop was disappointing. We were not welcomed warmly and the service was barely adequate. I felt like a stranger in my own country, an unpleasant impression considering that the place presents itself as the custodian of the local gastronomic tradition. The food, in fact, did not reflect the expectations or the tradition that the place boasts. Furthermore, when it came to the bill, we were charged a sandwich with a price that was 50 cents higher than what we had booked.

20/06/2025: We stayed in the Junior Suite for 4 even though we were 2 for only one night but although the stay was short it was enough to appreciate the tranquility, the cleanliness and the large spaces as well as the very central location.

08/06/2025: Restaurant located along the main street of Lido di Pomposa. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pizza was tasty and full of ingredients. Together with the drink before the pizza, some pasta zeppole were served. Cover charge: €2.50 Cost of 0.4L panache: €6 Pizzas range from €7 to €13-14 If you are in the area and want a good pizza, the place is recommended.

02/06/2025: Slow staff, really slow... half an hour passed before I could get cutlery and glasses, and I'm not even talking about ordering. I simply took a pasta allo scoglio and I have to say that the pasta was not al dente but completely raw and inedible... and to pay an eternity even there I had to wait 20 minutes before someone arrived. I personally highly discouraged

23/04/2025: Osteria stile casereccio in zona centrale a Ferrara che serve pesce. Locale piccolo e accogliente con una bella veranda esterna situata sotto il piano stradale. Pochi piatti presenti nel menù ma ben fatti. Preordinato crudo di pesce per due persone come da foto, porzione molto abbondante. Unica piccolezza avrei comunicato il prezzo o al momento dell ordine telefonico o al momento dell’arrivo: 60€ di crudo a testa per la città in cui si è può essere in linea ma è comunque una bella spesa. Al di là di tutto con crudo, vino, acqua, un fritto in due e due dolci circa 85€ a testa. Ottimo servizio. Sicuramente una bella scoperta! Da provare i dolci fatti in casa e il loro estratto di olio al mandarino da abbinare al crudo

Ci sentiti come a casa sia per l accoglienza del personale che per la location .Abbiamo mangiato delle buonissime pietanze di pece fresco ed avendo scelto il percorso antipasti le portate sono state molte ..dalle quali non siamo riusciti ad ordinarne altre per quanto eravamo sazi . Ritorneremo per provare le altre proposte del menu .Consigliato

25/01/2025: A unique experience. We only went for dinner, we were guests of Mrs. Cristina and her husband and we absolutely cannot find a flaw in this wonderful evening. The atmosphere of the farmhouse is wonderful, every single object placed in the decoration of the environment is a sign of family and an indelible memory of the couple who manage the farmhouse. The raw materials are excellent and cared for with love and wisdom. Delicious, if you are curious, to also taste the history of the recipes. Mis an Place with hand-embroidered tablecloths, silver cutlery and infinite details that are nothing but the testimony of the pleasure of the owners in hosting you in their home. What might seem like a collection of objects here tells a story. The story of these two people who have dedicated their lives to the creation of a unique place both for the menu (the sturgeon and the truffle collected personally by them in the adjacent wood) and for the warmth and for the welcome. 09/06/2025: Located directly on the Lungomare di Ostia, inside a beach resort, La Bussola presents itself as one of those places that focus on a simple but well-targeted formula: seafood, breathtaking views and a holiday atmosphere even just a stone's throw from Rome. The restaurant's strong point is undoubtedly the location. The outdoor tables overlook the beach and, especially at sunset, the atmosphere is priceless. Whether it's a relaxed lunch or a romantic dinner, dining with the sound of the waves in the background offers a pleasant and relaxing sensory experience. The cuisine mainly offers fish-based dishes, with a varied menu that ranges from raw and cooked appetizers to grilled or stewed second courses. The mussels alla marinara, often recommended by the staff, are very tasty and plentiful. Among the first courses, the spaghetti with clams and the risotto with scampi cream are among the most ordered, even if they are not always perfect: on some occasions the dish can be slightly salty or with the presence of sand, perhaps a sign of a not always constant control over the raw material. The service is polite but can be inconsistent, especially on very busy summer days: it happens that you have to wait a long time between one course and the next, or that some detail escapes the staff. However, the kindness of the staff, in general, manages to compensate for some small flaws. The prices are medium-high: you also pay for the location. For a complete meal (appetizer, first course, second course, wine and dessert) you can easily get to 50-60 euros per person, but if you choose carefully the bill remains reasonable. Also noteworthy is the availability of fresh fruit served in a scenic manner, perfect for ending the meal in summer style. In conclusion, La Bussola is a place to choose when you want to experience a lunch or dinner that has the flavor of the sea, not only on the plate but also in the air. If you are looking for technical perfection in the kitchen you might be slightly disappointed, but if you are looking for atmosphere, relaxation and good company in front of a nice fried food and a glass of chilled white, then you are in the right place.

03/04/2025: We ate here twice the last time we were in Ferrara about 18 months ago - and twice this time too. Wide choice of pizzas. I had the Francesco, which was delicious. So was the ravioli. The seafood starter my companion had the first night, we both had the second night. The carbonara was excellent. The sea bass was tasty, but small. Staff are friendly. The menu is in Italian only. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Ferrara.

13/03/2025: Ottima esperienza, Sono venuta a pranzare con la mia famiglia recentemente e ci siamo trovati benissimo...ambiente caldo e familiare, il titolare di sala e i camerieri di una disponibilità unica, piatti della tradizione belli da vedere e deliziosi da assaporare.. sicuramente consigliato anche per famiglie con bambini poiché dispongono di seggioloni. Una volta finito di mangiare ci hanno esposto la numerosa varietà di dolci di cui il menù dispone, la scelta devo dire molto ardua, e per finire servizio caffè con amari. Che dire lo consiglio a tutti; turisti e locali.

23/05/2025: Varied and good quality daily menu. 16 euros/p. more than fair price for a complete first course, second course, wine, water and coffee. The place is a bit dated but for a lunch break it's more than fine.

20/06/2025: I was there about 1 month ago with some friends of mine for the Champions League final. Very good pizza, my friends were all satisfied, friendly and kind waiters, excellent organization and management of the place. Ambience right in the center, place divided into three floors: ground floor, 1st floor and 2nd floor, there are also some balconies that overlook one of the main streets of the youth nightlife, namely Via Carlo Mayr. Very good price, perfect for university students. I will definitely return.
