I went there for lunch yesterday. I took advantage of the full lunch menu. First course, second course, side dish, 1/4 cup wine, 1/2 cup water, and coffee for 15 euros. Delicious food, beautiful setting with lots of paintings, good service, and a friendly waitress. Excellent value for money. If I return to Ferrara, I'll definitely eat here again.

We had a set lunch menu: first course, second course, side dish, water, and coffee, but there's also a 1-4 course wine menu for €15. The place needs revisiting, but the service is adequate. The restaurant is just steps from the castle in the center.

Affordable restaurant in the center. You have to make do with the limited selections available, especially given the lack of fish and red meat. However, the dishes I chose were good, even if not refined.

11/06/2026: My wife and I needed a relaxing weekend, and we used a gift certificate we'd received when we got married. We were right to choose this property. The food is excellent, and you can relax by the pool, which is surrounded by greenery and therefore quite cool. It's a shame it's a bit out of the way, but the owners were very helpful and welcoming.
06/06/2026: A wonderful place, magical I'd say, immersed in a green park full of trees and flowers, a dream, and even a pool. The owner's sensitivity and generosity are that extra something that makes everything wonderful. Highly recommended.
