Degusteria Divina In Ferrara

While visiting Ferrara, we stopped at Degusteria Divina for lunch around 1:30 PM. Here we met Federico: an excellent restaurant professional! We ordered a platter of cured meats—Zia Ferrarese, Salame rosa tipico, and Coppa piacentina—perfectly thinly sliced ​​and of truly high quality. Next, we tried the Cappellacci alla zucca in two versions, with ragù and with butter and sage… cooked to perfection and with just the right amount plated for each portion. Afterward, we also purchased a bottle of wine, thanks to Federico's introduction to the different types available. Besides being passionate about the restaurant world, he is also a competent sommelier and expert in Emilia-Romagna wines. So, in conclusion, in addition to having eaten truly well, we met a person who is affable, knowledgeable, competent, and capable of adding value to the services offered in the restaurant world. Ad Majora!

Exceptionally delicious food! The cappellacci were divine, as was the pulled chicken. Prepared freshly and with a lot of care. Very friendly and thoughtful staff. Recommended several nice local dishes and warned us about the difference in preparation time for two dishes so we could decide in advance if we wanted to alter our choice based on this. Long and excellent wine list to choose from, several of which could be bought per glass. Also beautifully located right next to the castle. Perfect for a lovely dinner!

We stopped at this place because we were traveling to another city in Veneto. The dishes took a while to arrive, which demonstrates the quality of the cuisine, considering that nothing is pre-prepared. There was only one gentleman who served us cordially. I highly recommend the green capelleti and the fried gnocchi, as well as the dessert. The air conditioning could be a little colder, since it was 38 degrees outside.

Welcoming atmosphere, excellent quality products, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable staff. We ate fantastic cappellacci stuffed with pumpkin, topped with delicious homemade ragù, and delicious cappellacci with butter and sage, all accompanied by red wine piadina, recommended by the waiter for mopping up the bread! We finished with a delicious Tenerina, excellent! Finally, we were delighted by the stories and anecdotes shared by Federico, the owner, about the history of Ferrara and its people. He could entertain customers with his knowledge and curiosity, just like a tour guide! Highly recommended!

I had lunch today with my sister and I found the food good. The green tortelli from Modena with ricotta and balsamic vinegar, a platter of cured meats with a sprinkling of truffle and a sweet tenerina cake were reasonably priced.

Just steps from the Estense Castle, this excellent restaurant is a far cry from the usual tourist spots. It's a fantastic experience. You can sample excellent traditional cuisine; we recommend the fried cappelletti and the pumpkin-filled cappellacci from Ferrara. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. The staff is kind, friendly, and ready to help you with your every need. Thank you so much for the fantastic lunch; we'll definitely be back on our next trip to Ferrara!

Excellent restaurant where you can enjoy a variety of cured meats and cheeses accompanied by gnocco fritto and piadinas (try the pumpkin and wine ones), as well as traditional Ferrara first and second courses. Prices are moderate and the service excellent. Definitely worth a try.
