A truly delightful surprise. We were greeted with a complimentary carrot soup. The baccala mantecato was one of the best I've ever tasted. The cappellacci were absolutely delicious. The service was incredibly friendly... Everything was simply fantastic and 100% recommended.

We happened upon it yesterday while wandering around Ferrara. It's a very nice place, with a small terrace under the porticoes. We ate very well. I recommend both the classic pumpkin tirtelli and the Ferrarese tortelli with cacio pepe and artichokes. The reinterpretation of the fish soup is excellent, as is the zuppa inglese. The staff is kind and professional.
We'll be back.

Dinner with friends in the center of Ferrara. It was a wonderful experience. Excellent seafood paired with good wine, and to finish, a wonderful dessert. Professional and friendly staff in a casual atmosphere. We'll be back!

I found it by chance after reading the reviews and looking at the photos of the dishes. This time, let's start with the things I didn't like the most: the lighting in the restaurant was disappointing, with ineffective lights. The space is also a little cramped, but it's manageable.
From here on out, only positive things. The menu isn't overwhelming, so you can't get lost. There are 5-6 choices for each course, traditional Ferrara dishes and a few different options, including meat, fish, and vegetarian options. I tried the creamed cod with chickpea cream, pumpkin tortelli, and salami for sauce. Not much to say, the dishes were good and well-prepared (perhaps I would have preferred the ragù for the tortelli to be different: the pieces of meat were large and the sauce a little runny, but that's a minor detail).
Special mention for the service! The waiters were kind and attentive, smiling and pleasant, and they also gave us effective advice. Truly excellent.
If I were to return to Ferrara, I would definitely return here.
