30/10/2025: Only top marks for this business, which deserves all our attention and affection. If it were a menu, I'd describe it like this: Appetizers: Unlimited kindness and helpfulness. First Courses: Authentic expertise and a listening ear. They passionately answer every question about vegan nutrition, thus making a choice that, for me, represents the future accessible. Their pumpkin cappellacci with soy ragù? "Da zo'dttesta," as they say here in Ferrara. Second Courses: The food they offer is carefully crafted, freed from suffering to be inserted into our bodies with respect and awareness. We are what we eat, let's not forget that! Dessert: Extraordinary generosity. I ordered cappellacci for a graduation reception with just a few days' notice, and they prepared everything with incredible speed and dedication. Coffee and Ammazzacaffè: Attentive, authentic people, worthy of praise. I'm not vegan, but my partner and family are. I eat meat very rarely these days, and places like "La Vegana" confirm that this cuisine is not only ethical, but also profoundly good and welcoming. Highly recommended.

22/09/2025: We dined at this small, unassuming, and typical neighborhood restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant, the lovely waitress spoke English, and she graciously tried to find a dish for me, taking into account my food intolerances. Plenty of vegetarian options, which was a real treat! The prices were very reasonable, and the food was fresh and homemade. I highly recommend it!

03/11/2025: I would have loved to try the dishes at this osteria... too bad it was closed on the day and time I booked! Even though Monday was listed as the closing day, I found the place closed on the Sunday evening of my reservation (photo attached), making it difficult to find a last-minute alternative. I'm happy to take your time, but I think it's essential to at least let them know.

21/08/2025: I ordered 5 takeout pizzas since I'm on vacation... and as a pizza chef, I can only say this... fabulous dough and top-quality ingredients. Even though they made a mistake with one pizza, they apologized when I called and wanted to make it right away. So, super professional. Thanks guys. To err is human. Only those who do nothing make no mistakes. I'll definitely order your pizza again when I come back here.

01/11/2025: I had lunch with my partner at this wonderful place. The staff were incredibly kind, the service and food were top-notch. We were looking for a place to eat bourguignonne and we also tried the raclette royale. I've never eaten anything so delicious. More than perfect, we'll definitely be back!

03/09/2025: This elegantly welcoming restaurant is located in a fairytale village. It's always busy. Reservations are essential. They pay close attention to food intolerances. They offer only typical and exclusively mountain dishes, including some based on ancient recipes (fondue), prepared with care, abundance, and, above all, quality. The desserts are delicious and fresh. A wide selection of wines and liqueurs is available. The service is attentive but not intrusive, and the softly lit restaurant recreates the warmth and intimacy of a mountain hut. An experience not to be missed...

06/11/2025: The pizza is very good, and the service is excellent because you can grab drinks from the fridge without waiting. The place is small but well-maintained. The ingredients used are very good, especially the olives and tomatoes.

26/10/2025: The food is really good, they're quick, and the pizza is really good, but above all, light and easy to digest. I've been there several times and will definitely be back. The prices are great, and I like this pseudo-self-service restaurant that's very reminiscent of the places down town. Highly recommended.

09/10/2025: I chose this Osteria in the center of Comacchio on a recommendation, and it was an excellent dinner. We ordered a seafood appetizer, fried fish, and the Comacchio specialty, grilled eel, which we tried for the first time. Everything was excellent and tasty. To finish, we had sorbets and torta della nonna. Highly recommended.

14/11/2025: Wonderful place. Family business, I think the whole family works there, from grandfather to grandson. Everyone is wonderful. There are two types of pizza to choose from. Not a pretentious look. Perfect taste.

17/11/2025: My family and I had lunch at this Osteria on Sunday, November 16th. When I made my reservation, I mentioned that I'm vegan, and Ruggero, the host, while emphasizing that their cuisine is traditional Ferrara and therefore wouldn't be able to offer me a wide variety of options, responded with kindness, courtesy, and willingness to find a solution that wouldn't overwhelm either the kitchen or me (as I think EVERY passionate restaurateur should do). Upon our arrival, Ruggero was thoughtful and attentive, making us feel welcome, and his mother even prepared me a double portion of polenta with porcini mushrooms as an appetizer! For the main course, a delicious plate of homemade potato gnocchi (tough, just like the ones my grandmother used to make) with a radicchio, onion, and butternut squash sauce...a dream! ALL ingredients that were on the menu, which they simply had to combine differently without betraying tradition or overturning the menu. Even though I haven't tried the local dishes, I can say that the cappellacci al ragù looked magnificent!

11/11/2025: Being accommodated in Venice we decided to spend one of the days in Ferrara. That day the weather was not with us and we were looking for a warm place to sit and talk and drink a coffee. We saw the sign of this Osteria and decided to enter. We were struck by the pure Italian spirit and the cheerful people who spoke wonderful Italian. The menus were in Italian and we had no idea what to order. A very nice gentleman came and gave us the desired directions, thus ordering the best veal we have ever eaten. Better even than the one in Florence. Thank you for the treat! You are wonderful!

11/11/2025: Family-run pizzeria and restaurant The pizza is good, made with quality ingredients, and is thin-crust with a crispy crust (not Neapolitan). Be patient on Saturdays if the place is busy. One of the few pizzerias in the city center that doesn't force you to work shifts on Saturdays.

18/10/2025: This restaurant is located just 50 meters from the Este Castle, in the heart of Ferrara's historic center. Very welcoming, the owners are very kind and helpful. For lunch, you can choose from a set menu or à la carte dishes. You'll find all the traditional local dishes, right in the city center, in a quiet, family-friendly atmosphere where you'll feel truly pampered.
