Always a guarantee when I go there!!! Delicious traditional Ferrara food, very friendly staff, and the price is right!! I especially recommend their cappellacci!

Very quaint place. That retro touch, intentional or overlooked?
A fine line.
The spoken menu is a bit unsettling, in the sense that you don't know the prices and can't remember everything.
The food is good.
But the annoying thing is the cooks constantly coming out of the kitchen to check how full the tables are.
The waiters do the same.
A bit of THEIR ANXIETY is transmitted to you.
No complaints about the food, but the atmosphere is a downside.

Not much to say, after having tried (almost) all the best restaurants in Ferrara, I can say hands down that Tri Scalin is one of the best ever. Regardless of the fact that you won't spend a fortune, the dishes are incredibly good from start to finish, and the staff is all friendly.

We had dinner as a group at this restaurant. We were given a mixed appetizer (salami, cold cuts, and pumpkin soufflé), then each had a main course. The Fassona beef tartare and the tortelli with robiola cheese and caramelized pears were delicious. Generous portions and good quality! Including wine, water, and coffee, we paid €35 per person. Recommended!

The place appears very dated and poorly maintained, with no air conditioning. There's no price list; the menu is announced verbally, and there are surprises at the bill. The portions are generous and decent.
The prices are high for the location.

Traditional Ferrarese cuisine, good quality, great prices, a slightly dated '90s location with a tavern-like atmosphere. Excellent, friendly, and attentive service. We always love returning.

Great experience. Everything was excellent, traditional cuisine, but with a few off-menu items to keep things fresh. They were excellent at explaining the dishes and providing all the necessary information. They don't have a menu, which I don't like, but in this case I didn't miss it.
