26/04/2026: Very nice, upscale place. Excellent hospitality and a good selection on the menu. The platter of cold cuts, cheese, and pinzini (a bit too greasy and sliced, with lots of mortadella, no ham). The passatelli alla gricia were excellent. The mutton was very plentiful, but unfortunately too fatty. The side dishes were good, both the asparagus and the fried porcini mushrooms. The service was truly excellent, friendly and helpful. The bill was reasonable for the high standard.

22/05/2026: We found this place almost by chance to satisfy our craving for red meat, and it turned out to be a wonderful discovery. We ordered the mixed grill with rib-eye steak for two to share (€55) and were truly impressed: the rib-eye steak, about 900g, was out of this world, cooked to perfection, with an excellent grilled flavor, and decidedly filling. The grill also included sausage, coppone, pancetta, and grilled polenta. Overall, a very generous portion, more than enough for a dinner for two. As an appetizer, we also recommend the Tuscan chicken liver crostini, if you like that kind of food: really good. The staff is also very welcoming and friendly, and the place is beautiful. We'll definitely be back!

10/05/2026: We had dinner at this small but exquisitely appointed restaurant in the center of Ferrara. The place isn't huge, but it's very well-maintained, and the limited number of tables allows for a relaxed chat. The staff is highly trained, their strengths... kindness, friendliness, and attention to the customer (not so obvious). The dishes are carefully prepared, beautifully presented with excellent quality food and clearly explained by the staff who bring them to the table. The owners are kind and ready to offer advice based on the customer's needs. When calling to reserve the table, I missed that that evening was our anniversary, and when the dessert arrived, the surprise was to find, with the dessert, the words "Happy Birthday" written on the plate. Little things, little touches that are very welcome and not expected. Thank you so much... 🥰. Last but not least... If you don't finish the bottle of wine, they'll seal it with an airtight cork and you can take it home... Wonderful initiative!!!!!. Truly congratulations to everyone, from the owners to the very kind and knowledgeable guys..!!! We will definitely be back!!!!!! 😊

10/05/2026: The quality of the restaurant and service is evident from Elisabetta's welcome. We enjoyed two tasting menus and tried the gin and tonics recommended by the staff. The food was very high quality and the service impeccable. The only negative, if we had to find one, is that the place is a bit small and could do with more seating and a little more space between tables.

12/05/2026: An unforgettable anniversary. I begin this review with a well-deserved mea culpa: neither my wife (a true Ferrarese) nor I (in Ferrara since 2011) had ever been to this wonderful restaurant. We decided to make up for it on Sunday, our twelfth wedding anniversary. The tasting menu tempted us, but we opted for à la carte lunch. I had an appetizer, first course, and second course; my wife had an appetizer, second course, and dessert. I believe the attached photographs speak for themselves when it comes to describing the elegance of the location and the beauty and quality of the dishes. I'll just point out that we thoroughly enjoyed some of the truly unusual, yet surprisingly successful, flavor combinations (for example, the wagyu with salmon in the signature main course, but also small details like the pairing of coffee and pineapple in the dessert). The food, course after course, was a true discovery, and we found ourselves laughing and joking, feeding each other samples so as not to miss anything, like two sweethearts. The aspect I'd like to focus on was the wonderful attentiveness of the service, which made us feel truly pampered throughout the meal. For example, since my wife hadn't ordered a first course, they still brought her an amuse-bouche to while away the time. Or, again without a word, my wife's second course was accompanied by a glass of the Japanese liqueur we'd spotted in the display case and commented on. Coincidence or the keen ear of an attentive maître d'? To top it off, a final surprise from the chef with his happy anniversary wishes, as pictured. The final surprise came when the bill arrived: truly very, very, very fair for the experience we had. We'll definitely be back to try the tasting menu.

It's a pleasure to observe the freedom with which numerous horses and other animals roam the grounds in front of the residence. I could go on and on with numerous descriptions, but I suggest you consult their website for a more comprehensive overview. The food and beverages are acceptable, although there is room for improvement.

13/05/2026: Delicious vegan food that you can either enjoy in the shop or take away. The owner is incredibly sweet and is happy to tell you about all the dishes. I would recommend the tortellini with beetroot and potato filling or with spinach filling (pictured). Also try the delicious "meatballs" in tomato sauce. The price is around €7-10 per dish.

02/05/2026: My boyfriend and I spent a wonderful evening at this osteria. We were greeted by one of the three young women who work there and were treated with great kindness and professionalism. The waiters were also always helpful and friendly. The food was nothing short of excellent: we had casoncelli cacio e pepe and a frigola with clams and mantis shrimp, and finally a guanciale. But the best thing of all was the smiles of all the staff: truly priceless! Thank you all for your work and best of luck! Federica and Lorenzo
