28/08/2024: I would say that we chose very well to celebrate our anniversary here!!! Super satisfied!

11/08/2024: Di passaggio nella splendida Ferrara, viste le recensioni, ci siamo approcciati alla cucina dello chef con aspettative molto alte che, non solo sono state rispettate ma sono andate ben oltre. Fin dall'ingresso nel piccolo ristorante, si respira un'aria di eleganza senza forzature e di calda intimità, grazie alle volte e alle travi a vista, e gli inserti di arte moderna e l'illuminazione di design. Dal punto di vista enogastronomico abbiamo vissuto una vera e propria esperienza lasciandoci guidare dalle sette portate del menu degustazione mare "crudo e cotto". Nulla di scontato dove la materia prima, sempre protagonista, è stata esaltata dagli abbinamenti anche sperimentali ma mai barocchi, dello chef. Impiattamenti superlativi. Ottimi anche i panificati e interessantissima la carta dei vini che propone anche etichette di piccoli produttori locali, la cui descrizione è lasciata all'ottimo sommelier. Molto bene anche lo staff di sala preparato e cordiale. Infine, piacevole anche la chiacchierata di fine cena con lo chef Bacilieri che, con la "scusa" di predisporre personalmente il conto, coglie l'occasione di condividere le impressioni con i suoi clienti.

17/11/2024: Raramente metto il massimo dei voti. Lo faccio quando una cucina accoglie la mia allergia ad aglio e cipolla senza essere stata avvertita (colpa mia) in maniera brillante. La tagliata di cervo che mi viene servita è tra le tre volte in cui ho avuto più soddisfazione nella mia “carriere” da cliente. Prego controllare il numero di recensioni. I tipi di pane serviti appena ci sediamo sono eccezionali. I miei commensali prendono pesce, cappellacci, uova al tartufo, salmone e si dicono stupefatti. Il dolce è un delirio. Torta di mele con gelato alla crema coperta da una cialda croccante. Tutti i piatti hanno le ceramiche calde mantenendo quindi il cibo in temperatura per tutto il pasto. Servizio professionale ed estremamente paziente.

15/11/2024: Ritornare a Quel Fantastico Giovedi è sempre un'ottima esperienza per il palato. Il locale si presenta sempre ben curato e intimo. La proprietà e il personale sempre professionale e cordiale; a tale proposito la ragazza che serviva ai tavoli ha percepito che era il mio compleanno, ce ne erano diversi quella sera, e con sorpresa molto gradita ha portato al nostro tavolo un dolce con candelina, pur avendo noi già mangiato il dolce.

28/10/2024: Ottimo gelato con gusti anche di stagione e ferraresi. Buono il rapporto quantità/qualità/prezzo. Consigliato! Vale la pena fermarsi

15/08/2024: Ein himmlisches Affogato. Selbstgemachtes Eis (wählte Vanille mit Limette), dazu ein leckerer Espressi drüber und ein Glas Sprudel. Nette, lächelnde Bedienung.

17/11/2024: We finally managed to have lunch at this restaurant. Everything was excellent, from the location to the dishes and the friendliness of the staff. In very few places I give 5 stars, this is one of the few. We ate from appetizer to dessert and everything was perfect, passatelli with clams cream of oysters superb, the platter of raw fish was also excellent, octopus cbt... delicious, very tasty and delicate desserts, the wine list was also excellent.. .well done....

11/08/2024: Fantastic dinner - well worth the short walk from the centre. The menu has plenty of options with regional specialties including four types of cappellacci di zucca, the Ferrara pasta hats stuffed with pumpkin. We had them with duck ragu and slices of fresh truffle - it was to die for. We also enjoyed tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, an aubergine, tomato and basil starter and a tagliata of beef with rocket and grana that was fantastic. We finished off with a very nice pistachio semifreddo and washed the lot down with their very drinkable house wine which is served by the glass or in carafes. Service was good especially the warm welcome from the chef who took time to explain the dishes to us. We really enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back next time we are in Ferrara.

08/12/2024: The place is not too big but welcoming. Excellent first courses, really good soft "penzini" but without oil as I like. Advised.

03/12/2024: Very nice and welcoming environment, very helpful and attentive staff, attentive to every detail! The courses were plentiful and very tasty, even the wines were refined. I recommend it to spend an evening in tranquility and harmony, ideal for parties.

04/12/2024: AWSOME OSTERIA 1997 JUST UNIQUE A fabulous restaurant, a place that, in this dehumanized age, I would never have believed could exist, on the phone Francesco recognized me 'I'll come around half past 9' 'don't worry' ... the others say 'no you have to tell me the exact time' at 31 they give the table away, because now it works in shifts, at now we have to leave the table because there are others, where the customer is worth nothing, the sum of the customers is worth; when I entered there was a smiling Edo who hugged me 'it's been a long time since you came', Francesco broke away from the people he was with and gave me his hand, and then, smiling, there was her... Agata, what a joy to see her again, what a joy to embrace her; Edo had reserved a beautiful table for me, in the opposite room, a large table where we were at ease, where we felt like we were friends, guests; Agata came to us immediately, smiling, kind, cheerful, and we ordered; Edo arrived for the wine and immediately contextualized and empathized with the situation, 'bubbles??', a complex local prosecco that I can't say except that a few moments later I was in seventh heaven; Agata served us as an entreé a pumpkin cream in a cup with exquisite croutons and then ricotta tortelli with special butter and fried courgettes, cooked to perfection, creamy, very tasty, and then a super sirloin tender as butter; a mascarpone with passito to finish off in style; Agata always came to ask if everything was okay, and she was so sweet, smiling, kind that, my word, I have never seen a waiter like that in my life, but she is a future doctor, a classy person, I observed her in face with very sweet features, at a certain point I couldn't help myself and told her 'you're enchanting'; high-class osteria, no restaurant has superior cuisine in Ferrara and I would almost say elsewhere; Those who write that it is traditional cuisine are wrong, this is very modern, creative cuisine, which has some dishes rooted in tradition but always rethought in a creative way; Edo also came back to ask how it was going and always has a good line of Ferrarese humour, it was almost midnight when I went to pay the bill, Francesco showed me his father's medical notebooks and I asked him for some Agata, and I was ashamed at the thought of having been a lazy student, out of class and not of medicine, of law, 'a law degree is like a glass of water, you can't deny it to anyone'; the bill was from friends, there is a lot of talk about price/quality but no other restaurant guarantees it like here, where the customer is not a lemon to squeeze; when we got up and said goodbye to Francesco and Edo, but Agata was no longer there, I asked 'and Agata... where is she?' she had already gone home to study for sure, maybe it was better, I'll see her again... Edo and Agata are not the waiters, they are two beautiful people who take care of the guests, no not with cuddles, you get those in a massage centre, and the tavern is a fantastic and unique place, where everything is beautiful, where they are friendly, where it is impossible to go out without feeling well and also the other customers entertained themselves with Francesco, Edo and Agata and it was like being at a party, among people that is known, and, the whole essence of the Osteria, at least for me, is in that evening, when we entered and Agata, who had been at the tavern for a few days, smiled at us immediately, as if she knew us, with a smile unspeakably wonderful, saying a 'hello' _ to me who is from '58 _ which, put as you said it, I have never heard it, nor will I hear it more.❤️💘💌💖💗💓💞💕💟❣️❤️‍🔥❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜

16/11/2024: Locale piccolo, rustico, ma accogliente. Servizio: personale gentilissimo, preparato e attento al cliente, servizio rapido ed efficiente. Menù: piatti della tradizione misti e non solo. Abbinamenti mare/terra ben riusciti. Ampia selezione di vini(con bottiglie da 375 ml per le coppie). Entrée di benvenuto e dolcetti finali offerti dalla casa. Conto: ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ci torneremo sicuramente, bravissimi.

25/08/2024: We highlight the quality and helpfulness of the always attentive waiter. In my case, the tortellini were not good and had an unappetizing oil sauce, although I tried some things from my colleagues' menu such as gnocci or pasta and it was better.

30/11/2024: The restaurant is well kept and welcoming, creating a perfect atmosphere for a relaxing dinner. The service was fast and efficient, with the waiters always helpful and kind, which made the experience even more positive. Although the menu offers a wide choice of first courses and other options, we decided to try the pizza, which turned out to be really excellent. We were fully satisfied with both the flavor and the overall quality. A restaurant that I definitely recommend.

26/11/2024: Excellent food, in fact excellent everything. The pizzas are at the top as are both the meat and fish dishes. Well done to all the staff, friendly and efficient.

04/09/2024: Scrumptious delicious dishes. Professional staff, very knowledgeable, attentive, and accommodating. Wine recommendation did not disappoint. The food recommendation was a wonderful surprise. We had mostly things that were not on the menu. It is one of the best restaurants we've found in Italy, considering ambiance, seating, food quality and taste, wine selection, service, and value for money.

27/08/2024: Questo posto è ideale per una serata informale, l'ambiente è essenziale, il personale molto cortese. Abbiamo cenato in due, scegliendo tra le proposte del menu scritto e di quello sulla lavagna con le proposte del giorno, tutto molto buono, servito nei tempi giusti, e anche il conto si è rivelato in linea con le aspetattive.

07/12/2024: We stopped for lunch on Thursday 5th January and in my opinion, even if we ate reasonably well, the price for a place like this is expensive. There were two of us, my wife and I, we had an appetizer consisting of 4 small tigelle and 4 slices of mortadella, a plate of tortellini, 2 Salamina sauce with mashed potatoes, a liter of carbonated water made by them, half a liter of sheep loose, 2 coffees for a total of 40 euros. For that price I'll go somewhere else next time
