07/09/2024: Pretty good, but frankly I expected better. It wasn't bad, but it was very "poor" even though we asked to put everything; and the bread was very dry, so difficult to eat. The rolls on the other hand seemed undercooked, and they too were very "poor" inside. The fries were good and fresh.

27/08/2024: I didn't like the shawarma. They put French fries in there! Instead of meat, probably. Not enough meat. I was upset.

01/02/2025: I went into the bar to have breakfast and relax for about ten minutes, in reality this was not possible. I understand wanting to be nice and all, but the girl at the checkout did nothing but yell and laugh, and unfortunately I heard other customers respond in an unkind way. Another flaw: toilets not available.

04/02/2025: probably the worst place I have ever eaten in my travels. I travel throughout Europe at least once a month for the past year this food was disgusting. I had the Arancino Which is usually one of my favorite food Italy when I ordered it, the nice lady upfront threw in the microwave and undercooked it. It was soggy and tasted like tapwater. I do not know how you make a fried risotto and tomato sauce with peas taste like tapwater, but they made it taste like tapwater a true bastardization of a great dish. Do not go here eat somewhere else. I wish I could take a photo to show how gross it looked, but I instantly threw it away

23/12/2024: Unfortunately, despite multiple courteous warnings, the gastronomy is completely inadequate, tagliatelle overcooked (always) and also tasteless, and tortellini are very poor (zero flavour). The growing Bolognese greaves wouldn't get a 5 on the report card. Why not improve?

19/01/2025: With the new management the refuge is back at the top. Kindness, excellent and fast service, menu finally from a true Parma mountain refuge: polenta + wild boar, polenta + gorgonzola, risotto with porcini mushrooms, tortelli tutti, anolini in broth, roasts with potatoes and much more. The bar is also excellent, they have sandwiches and pizzas by the slice for those who prefer a packed lunch and excellent tarts and cakes. Obviously hot chocolate. Absolutely honest prices, friendliness and quality: it was a pleasant return, now I will start going there more often.

05/01/2025: Good morning we have just returned from Schia for a trip with friends. I would like to point out that it is not the first time we have gone but today there are no words to describe the bar, disorganised, the 2 girls at the counter dirty everywhere, coffee cups piled up and dirty tables with an unlikely lunch, we looked at each other and decided to take a consummation. Apart from the slowness of the service also the lack of friendliness of the girls they don't serve you at the table ok so let's go. 1 lemon tea 2 hot chocolates and 1 vinbrule price 14.50 the tea arrives on the counter in a plastic glass without lemon I ask for it there he presents me the lemon on a bread knife and without a spoon ok I ask for the hot vinbrule arrives thank goodness but after having almost drunk it everyone notices that at the bottom of the glass it looks like sand the hot chocolates arrive I'm going to get them as I look they look like 2 remnants of milk and chocolate disgusting liquid and cold but I ask myself and I say the owner where? X check dirty everywhere the counter where they serve dirt and dirt which in my opinion has been like this for a long time they don't expect the top but not even like that if USL went there I don't know how they would manage I don't dare go to the bathroom so let's go but we will certainly never meet again then they say that now schia is losing customers both for skiing and as a place I believe it if they treat it this way it's better to stay at home make a move because it literally sucks like this once upon a time it wasn't like that for us Between we went skiing but there is a real deterioration of the whole environment with cobwebs at the counter with disgusting sweets etc

14/08/2024: Neat and clean place. Friendly and helpful staff. Very competitive prices in relation to quality.

10/08/2024: New management. Quick lunch menu at 13 euros (see on Facebook) with drinks and coffee included. Very friendly and helpful staff, always looking for culinary ideas. Bar and ice cream during the day. A la carte menu for lunch and dinner.

22/12/2024: Sono stato per un pranzo aziendale, tutto molto buono, soprattutto i primi piatti e i dolci, da rivedere l'antipasto. Conto esagerato, 70 euro a testa compreso le bevande che credo in consumo di commensali "normali" . Secondo noi, rispetto alla prima edizione della Capra di Cavriago, hanno alzato troppo.

03/12/2024: Siamo stati con amici domenica a pranzo il posto è bello e si mangia bene peccato che le porzioni siano veramente misere e abbiamo speso una follia … mi dispiace ma per una famiglia di 3 persone spendere 200 euro per mangiare tradizionale è veramente una follia … è troppo troppo caro !!! Purtroppo non lo consiglio

06/01/2025: Disorganized. Internal paid parking, 10 euros in front, 5 euros 30 meters away. Ridiculous. You can't pay with the POS, with the excuse that it doesn't take. At the entrance, if I didn't ask for the drink cards, already included in the ticket, they wouldn't give them. The only positive aspect is the very nice environment, even if small.

14/11/2024: It's a canteen, so I usually eat plain and cooked or raw vegetables, the salads and cold dishes are good!

19/10/2024: Classic canteen, nothing more. There are many repetitive dishes and some with little care, but overall once you learn what to eat you eat quite well.

24/01/2025: I leave the two stars for the place which is nice and tidy with smoking rooms, fairly clean bathrooms, two bars on both floors but be careful if you order a table with a drink. The last time I was here was in November 2019 to celebrate my 20th birthday and to organize myself I spoke on Whatapp with Il P.R who forget it…. He barely answered and only responded with laughing emojis while I was asking them questions to find out more about what I had included by booking a table for 6 people and I would have liked to speak directly with him by phone but it wasn't possible because the Arab boy was too busy . When I arrived the waiter told me something completely different and I had to pay more money for the vodka and I had only included the Champagne so they had made fun of me, the usual business. I don't like it when there are too many people and you can't even move anymore as often happens now never everywhere because making money is the only value that's left and then they put 20 bodyguards for security what's the point? For too many people at the end of the evening there always happens a brothel or a beating or worse.

24/12/2024: Tempi biblici, qualità del cibo mediocre servizio pressoché inesistente dopo aver aspettato 40 minuti abbiamo chiesto a che punto erano i nostri piatti scocciato ha risposto vado a vedere e ha portato i piatti dopo 45 minuti per un You can Eat un disastro

15/11/2024: Davvero pochi come SushiKo di Savignano! Eppure di Sushi ne ho girati veramente tantissimi ma SushiKo non ha davvero eguali! Il Cibo è buonissimo e super variegato, tantissime scelte e crudo davvero molto buono. Chi si lamenta del sovrapprezzo per un solo euro in più è davvero un miserabile, tra l’altro è solo per il pranzo che costa molto meno della cena e poi se non vuoi pagare di più evita i piatti col sovrapprezzo e sei a posto, molti posti per non metterti il sovrapprezzo di quei piatti te li tolgono proprio dal menù, invece loro almeno ti danno la possibilità di scegliere. Comunque camerieri sempre attenti, i responsabili sempre sul pezzo a controllare il lavoro svolto. Impeccabili!

14/09/2024: Frittura d'asporto. Quantità giusta. Qualità non male (ne ho assaggiate di peggiori). Prezzo onesto. Non sarà il massimo , ma quando ci torno la riprendo.

06/09/2024: We were there yesterday: 3 out of 4 piadinas were good. 1 had some ingredients with a very acidic flavour: this was pointed out to the owner but there was no apology, in fact he reiterated the impossibility of the fact.
