16/01/2025: Il locale è bellissimo ed è realizzato in una vecchia casa colonica ristrutturata adagiata tra le prime colline emiliane. Abbiamo organizzato una cena con una quarantina di persone e il locale (solitamente chiuso in quella giornata) è stato aperto solamente per noi. Bellissima esperienza! La sala al piano superiore si presta perfettamente per una cena con numerosi commensali come la nostra e la vetrata sul magazzino del Parmigiano Reggiano è uno spettacolo che non passa inosservato. Dato il numero abbiamo optato per un menu fisso con erbazzone, parmigiano con composta di frutta e tosone fuso con pancetta per poi passare ai tortelli verdi e alle tagliatelle con ragù. Per concludere gnocco e tigelle con taglieri di salumi. Tutto veramente buono e curato. Quando la materia prima è di qualità si sente sempre! Prezzo più che onesto (ripeto, il locale era stato aperto esclusivamente per noi). Avevamo chiesto di portare due persone con consolle karaoke e non ci è stato fatto nessun problema anzi, diverse volte le cameriere si sono fermate un attimo a guardare e a canticchiare. Faccio anche presente che è possibile acquistare in loco prodotti come formaggio, salumi e pasta fresca. Insomma... tutto molto bello. MI piacerebbe tornare in estate per vedere anche lo spazio all'aperto.

13/01/2025: Rieccoci da Nonno Contadino: come mancare un'altra volta visto che l'ultima visita è stata così soddisfacente dal punto di vista culinario, solo giusto un pò dispendiosa ma tutto sommato fattibile e assolutamente ripetibile? Così ci siamo tornati. E abbiamo mangiato molto bene, nulla da dire su tutto: gnocco fritto e tigelle, tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale, tortelli verdi, ravioli al brasato, faraona, stinco alla birra, gelato artigianale. Però una grande qualità culinaria di un agriturismo non può tralasciare altri aspetti, uno di questi è il servizio: personale di servizio molto ridotto a una cameriera (o forse 2) che passava ogni tanto, lasciando buchi di attesa molto lunghi durante il pranzo (svolto più dell'ordinario). Un altro aspetto che non lascia il ricordo che meriterebbe per la qualità della cucina è il conto finale: esageratamente alto. Precisiamo che ci ricordavamo di avere speso più di una ruspante trattoria, però da allora (circa 10 mesi) i prezzi delle varie portate sono inesorabilmente aumentati. E l'abbiamo riscontrato soprattutto nello stinco, che rapportandolo con un menù di 8 mesi fa, attualmente costa 4 euro in più (ho detto 4 euro in più!!!). Li vale quei 4 euro in più? Direi di Sì, perché lo stinco alla birra di Nonno Contadino compete con i migliori stinchi alla birra che ho mangiato a Praga e in Baviera. Però, a mio modo di vedere, è un vero peccato che la qualità di una cucina venga in qualche modo compromessa da un prezzo (quasi) insostenibile. Spero che si faccia tesoro di queste personali osservazioni da consumatore.

05/07/2024: Easy to reach. With convenient parking. Welcoming. Clean. Tasty dishes such as pasta with meat sauce and mushrooms. Fixed price and non-fixed price menus. Nice and kind staff. Average prices. Good coffee.

16/08/2024: Ci vado spesso e devo ribadire la bontà e qualità del cibo e tutto il resto ho provato la loro pinsa veramente buona consiglio di provare e poi dato che mi era venuta voglia di tagliatelle ho chiesto se era possibile avere una tagliatella bianca al prosciutto crudo anche se loro non l’hanno neanche menu il titolare mi ha detto sì e non vi dico la bontà rigorosamente la pasta fatta da loro provate X credete super consigliato

12/07/2024: Se siete in zona non potete non fermarvi qui! Tutto buonissimo, grande simpatia del cuoco e accoglienza del personale. Abbiamo preso bis di primi (tagliatelle ai funghi e ragù e ravioli) me tre di secondo gnocchi fritti più crescentine.

02/12/2024: Domenica sono stato a pranzo con amici in questo ristorante a Castelvetro. Offrono un menù fisso ad una trentina di euro dove è tutto compreso, antipasti, primi, secondi, contorni, dolci, caffè, acqua, vino. È possibile anche richiedere il bis di ogni porzione se si desidera. Tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato era molto buono, l’ambiente davvero accogliente e il servizio molto cortese e attento al cliente. Un locale davvero superlativo.

11/11/2024: Totally tasteless pizza, tomato from a jar, only the mushrooms and cooked ham (from my capricciosa) were good; * There were 5 of us at table with 4 packets of breadsticks in the middle of the table; * No menu was brought to the table nor with a QR code service but we were then told when ordering that there were blackboards at the entrance; * Asked for and received an extra chair upon arrival to place bags and jackets, later removed by another waitress (also in a somewhat annoyed and rude manner) saying that it was needed for another table and they didn't have any more. * Toilets outside the premises, in the open-air courtyard with 2 toilets with open doors... * 5 of us arrived at 7.45pm, ordered after 5 minutes and pizzas arrived at 8.35pm. EDIT OF 11/11 IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER'S COMMENT: no sir, I don't ask for the tomatoes from the field... thanks for the sarcasm that I add to the list.... I wanted to say that the tomato was incorrectly acidic.. .. clearer like this? However, if out of a whole list of negative and objective criticisms you cling to the only doubtful one... I'm very sorry, you certainly didn't read them in the right spirit... sometimes criticism helps to improve, but certainly not with this narrow view. Leaving the child alone, we 4 adults present that evening all think as I wrote. With this management we will not return.

24/11/2024: Historic place that I have been frequenting for 30 years with great satisfaction. Menu linked to traditional seafood cuisine with an intelligent attitude to the new, with attention and regard to changes in taste and customer requests. Danilo and his brother Gianni are hard workers and know the trade well. I also like their style of welcoming customers. Soon we will organize a group of crazy people for a pleasant and tasty evening. I conclude: Gianni's desserts are the bomb!
