We were in the area for a short vacation, and we had dinner and lunch at this wonderful place. From the courteous, friendly, and professional staff who guided us through our selection of dishes, to the fantastic dishes, to the quiet and meticulously maintained, yet comfortable, location surrounded by greenery... without a doubt, you must try it and return! 30/04/2026: A proper Tuscan countryside restaurant: no frills, no tourist traps. The bistecca is the main event, and it delivers. Handmade pasta is solid too. Warm, family-run atmosphere that feels genuinely local. Worth the drive from Siena.

05/05/2026: My husband and I visited this restaurant last night, and it turned out to be such a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting perfect for a relaxed evening out together. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, and everything felt thoughtfully done. The food was definitely the highlight. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, and you could really tell that fresh ingredients and care went into every bite. 07/04/2026: Great food. Nearly everything is gluten free and they also offer gluten free pasta. The wine selection is perfect and no matter which wine you choose it is always very tasty! We went there two times in our three days in Siena

The tables are connected, so you might find yourself sitting with people you don't know, but that was exactly the special thing about this little place; it felt right at home. 11/04/2026: While walking through town, we stumbled upon this restaurant. The owner welcomed us and found us a table, which was very kind of him since the restaurant was at full capacity and we didn't have a reservation. He served us wine while we waited for our table. The food was delicious. We ordered the signature dish, and it was truly an amazing experience. 100% recommended. Places like this have made our trip very memorable.

05/05/2026: My boyfriend and I were there a few days ago and were really, really happy. The pici were incredibly fresh and the wild boar ragù was amazing. The guy who served us is very charismatic and talented, and he's passionate about explaining the cuisine and history of Poliziano. We also had an appetizer of crostini with pecorino and lard, which was delicious. I also wanted to try their tiramisu with biscotti, but unfortunately I was full 😂 Definitely worth returning!!

02/05/2026: The food wasn't fresh and the service was extremely rude. Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was very negative. The dishes seemed to be made with low-quality ingredients and weren't fresh at all, which affected both the flavor and the overall presentation. Furthermore, the staff was unprofessional and unfriendly, creating an unpleasant atmosphere throughout the visit. I don't recommend this place and definitely won't be returning.
