08/09/2025: The location is enchanting, the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the platter of local products from the Cerù salumificio itself is excellent. Definitely worth repeating.

02/09/2025: An oasis of peace with a stunning view of the sea and the plains in front of it! We were having a wonderful hike and unexpectedly stumbled upon this bar. The owner is Dutch, and the staff also came from there, speaking fluent English and Italian. It's ideal for a drink or a coffee during the hike and relaxing. The cook wasn't there in the afternoon, so we only had a Tuscan appetizer platter to satisfy our hunger. But it was absolutely fantastic!

06/10/2025: If the host is mean it usually means good food, but unfortunately not the case 😔 steak smothered in sauces that tasted bitter / burnt - so bummed as we thought this would be a great meal! The vodka macaroni was delicious though!

09/06/2025: We were there with our mountain bikes and wanted to have a drink before going out for dinner. The landlady was rather dismissive. We weren't allowed to park our bikes on the lawn or in the car park. So we just stayed for a drink...

07/09/2025: "Everything was very nice." The classic Tuscan appetizer with coccoli and cured meats was highly recommended. The Chianti Lacrima di sangue paired well with it. The first courses were very tasty (perhaps a little limited in quantity, as we fatties also like substance), and then the Florentine steak was excellent. The desserts were also worth trying. Overall, a very nice place, very eco-friendly (in terms of home holidays, certainly for eco-conscious people), and attentive service. Five stars, you can't deny it, oh trulli.

26/09/2025: Not your typical restaurant. Over the Ponte Vecchio bridge in Oltrano on a quite little street corner, you will find one of the best restaurants in Florence. The food is authentic Florentine and I suspect mostly locals eat here. Its more like going to your familys house for dinner, not fancy but you know everything was prepared with passion and love. Our waiter Tony was excellent. He made his suggestions and we ordered everything he said. The Tripe Florentine was nothing like we were use to. No red sauce, no potatoes or peas. It was in a simple broth of onions and carrots and the best we have ever tasted. The Ribolita was also outstanding. We also had the pork chop which was tender and amazing. Tony was so kind and he even let me try speaking to him in Italian. We enjoyed the house wine. The meal was so good and Tony was so welcoming, we went back on our last night in Florence. The menu is simple and the food was delicious. If you can, stop by and see Tony and oh, take his suggestions on what to eat. We will definately go back when we return to Florence

24/09/2025: Tony was an expert server. The food was remarkable, particularly the famous steak. It’s a great menu for family style dining and sharing the meal. The wine selection and suggested pairings were marvelous. I loved getting to enter the kitchen and sear my own steak! The experience was great and we will definitely return.

If you're craving a truffle and steak combo in Florence with a view, this is undoubtedly the best choice. The steak is a bit rare for Asians; ask the waiter for it to be well-done. Unfortunately, they didn't have black truffles today, only white ones, which was a bit of a shame. The steak and truffle combo cost 50 euros, which isn't cheap. However, the service was excellent; the staff were all smiling and enthusiastic. It's best to make a reservation. There's an elevator to the top floor, which is another flight of stairs. Evening is the ideal time to dine.

The selection of food and drinks was good, and everything was reasonably priced. The food was tasty, as was everything else. The decor is very pleasant, typically Italian and not too touristy. Perfect. A lovely, natural Italian restaurant with very good value for money.
