Special mention goes to the tasty, melt-in-your-mouth burger, enhanced with incomparably fresh mozzarella, and the perfectly mastered accompaniments. The Tuscan Borrigiano wine paired wonderfully with the meal, thanks to the team's expert advice. The service is impeccable: professional, attentive, and warm. The setting, both modern and cozy, invites you to fully savor every moment. A must-visit address in Florence, which we recommend without the slightest hesitation.

18/07/2025: Fantastische lokatie met uitzicht op Piazza Grande in Arezzo. Groot terras. In de middag een goede cocktail gehad en in de avond een diner. Niet geboekt en we konden meteen terecht, er was tevens herkenning van onze aanwezigheid eerder die dag. Menu is varierend en de opmaak is heel goed - gerechten zijn boven verwachting. Echt een aanrader voor een bezoek aan Arezzo. Wordt aangeschreven als duur maar niet in vergelijking met de menukaart in Noord-west Europa.

11/10/2025: A very nice experience, the owner was cooking the meat over a wood fire in the large fireplace when we arrived, the bottle of red wine was already on the table and the service was very friendly! We left feeling full!

08/10/2025: Rural atmosphere, owner with a biting but engaging personality (not for everyone) Peasant cuisine can express something more: I would emphasize the homemade tagliatelle made with excellent quality flour over the industrial pasta found everywhere. Very good meat, amazing potatoes. I would replace the bagged salad with vegetables from the beautiful surrounding garden. A round of applause for the genuinely empathetic waiters.

24/10/2025: Food was well prepared and wel proportioned, our waiter was very kind and attentive. And the view is out of this world. Highly recommended. Just don't trust Google maps if you're coming in from the south because it wants to send you down a 5 km tractor path. It's not suitable for even tractors. I turned around about a 100 ft in and found a different route.

22/10/2025: A special thank you to Jerry for a wonderful evening. We decided at short notice to have dinner at La Forra. Even though we didn't have a reservation, a table was quickly prepared for us. As on a previous visit, the food was excellent. The duck breast and the beef (from our own farm) are highly recommended. As a side dish, I highly recommend the roasted cauliflower with almonds and berries. A fantastic experience. The service that evening was absolutely perfect. Attentive and extremely friendly. An excellent grappa and a pleasant conversation with our host rounded off the evening. Thank you very much!

07/10/2025: Traveling through central Italy and wandering the streets of beautiful Anghiari, I stumbled upon this place by chance. I found the authentic Tuscan osteria, just what I was looking for. A wonderful experience. Excellent food. I'll be back...🍷

11/09/2024: my husband and I stayed at this inn for a few days at the end of August. We booked the same day of arrival and the owner Mr. Alessio was very helpful in welcoming us (which is not to be taken for granted for a small accommodation facility) so for this reason our first thanks go. The Tuscan-style room was welcoming, spacious, quiet and above all very clean. Varied breakfast in the morning served on the terrace of the inn with a panoramic view of the Maremma hinterland. We have always had dinner at the inn as the food is all homemade by Alessio's family and it is all absolutely delicious and the price is more than appropriate. I will certainly recommend to anyone coming to the area to take advantage of this true hospitality of both the owner and his parents, very courteous people and always available for a chat. Precise only for those who want to have a beach holiday in the surrounding areas, from the village of Buriano which has the timeless charm of times gone by, it takes about 20 minutes by car. thank you very much.

28/08/2024: Ritornato a cenare in questo locale, dopo esserci stati la prima volta pochi anni fa: il buon ricordo è stato confermato. Vengono proposti piatti tipici della zona, dove in particolare i pici ed i tortelli svettano (fatti a mano). Altra specialità del locale e la carne, che viene cotta alla griglia. Nel fuori menù, degni di nota i fiori di zucca ripieni di ricotta (che fortunatamente ho avuto modo di trovare anche stavolta). Oltre a qualche vino di etichetta, viene proposto anche un vino di loro produzione (a mio avviso degno di essere provato). Dolci della tradizione italiana, anche quelli preparati dal locale. Gradevole l'area esterna (dove sono accolti anche i cani), al pari della veranda panoramica e della sala. Conto adeguato (non economico, ma neppure eccessivo) ai piatti ed ai locali. Se in zona, consigliato.

05/11/2025: We'd been to this restaurant before and had fond memories of it. We returned specifically for this, but we didn't find the same quality of food. The ribollita with black cabbage was good, but it was really too flavorful, or rather salty. The pici with Chianina beef and red wine were decent, but nothing special, even though the portions were decidedly generous. Considering we came here specifically for this place, we wouldn't return.

03/11/2025: It's confirmed as a potentially great place. The food is good. The prices are fair. But the service is terrible!!! The blonde woman exudes dislike and a hunger for money. She stuffs the place with more than her maximum serving size. She squeezes people into the dining room like sardines, then forces everyone to order the same or nearly the same items, then brings them to you on shared trays that are difficult to verify. The bill arrives without any details, just the number of starters or main courses (everything has its price), which is indecipherable. And if you pay in cash, round up, otherwise she says they have a lot of commissions and nothing... but who asked for anything? In our case, it would have been better not to say anything about the bill, since no discount was requested, and above all, fewer people in the crowded dining room would have made a better impression. Terrible experience.

20/04/2025: Come da titolo sono capitato qui per caso, ore 14:25 entro in questo bar chiedendo se è possibile mangiare un panini o tramezzino, il ragazzo molto gentile mi indica che sopra c'è la trattoria se vogliamo accomodarci. Saliamo e veniamo accolti da Gianluca che ci fa accomodare e spiega il menù.....qui non c'è menù scritto ma menù verbale elencato in modo sapiente da Gianluca. Visto l'orario e un po' di fretta optiamo per i classici Pici, che però qui di classico non hanno nulla....sono tre anni che vengo in Toscana ma Pici così non li ho mai assaggiati...buonissimi, servizio superbo e con nostra sorpresa prezzo nella media, se vi capita provate perchè davvero merita.

06/04/2025: Posto piccolo ma veramente carino, si è mangiato molto bene, con tartare di manzo che era una freschezza assoluta e si è speso veramente bene per la qualità dei prodotti… Poi il proprietario una bellissima persona cordiale e gentile…. Da ritornare assolutamente 👍

09/12/2025: I won't be going back. We'd been there before and had a good steak, so we decided to go back, taking the opportunity to bring some friends. We arrived around 1:30 PM and even though we'd made a reservation, they wouldn't seat us because we had a small dog (a Maltese) with us, who was also locked in a stroller because he couldn't walk because he was blind. The owner wasn't friendly at all and didn't want to listen to reason or find a solution because the dog wasn't allowed inside the restaurant. So we asked if we could sit outside, since we didn't know pets weren't allowed (even though he was in a closed stroller anyway), and it was already 2 PM and we were four adults plus a five-year-old child. Despite this, he didn't think twice about sending us away, even without a qualm about having a child with us, and he responded very rudely.

Beautiful atmosphere and intimate rooms, perfect for spending time with family and, if you prefer, even in peace. Excellent food, everything was tasty and plentiful. I will definitely return with family and friends.

29/10/2025: A welcoming and rustic Tuscan restaurant, located in a charming country farmhouse. "A Mangia' Fora" offers hearty traditional dishes, cooked with passion and fresh ingredients. The Florentine steak and Tuscan antipasti are a must-try. Friendly service, a lively atmosphere, and fair prices.

18/09/2025: Everything was really good, the waiters were very nice and attentive... the gluten-free pici with ragù were delicious, and the Margherita pizza was excellent.
