31/05/2026: I remembered this restaurant from having been there before, but I was truly disappointed. The appetizer was meager and unappealing to the eye. The meat was of poor quality. Tiramisu in name but not in essence; even the main ingredient was missing: coffee, not even a drop. Based on my experience, I can say that there are much better options in the area.
25/05/2026: Everything was delicious, excellent food, and absolutely excellent service! The staff was very young but incredibly professional! Beautiful location surrounded by the countryside with plenty of parking.
The duck ragù was delicious!!
Highly recommended!

14/02/2026: The Valentine's Day dinner was excellent, both the meat and fish menus were delicious. The service, however, could be improved, as my appetizer arrived after my companion had already finished his. I ordered a mixed fried fish main course (shrimp and scampi), and they didn't even have a fish knife available. The atmosphere was charming and quaint. The pool and overall location were beautiful.
16/12/2025: We celebrated our daughter's graduation...we couldn't have asked for anything better! Excellent seafood lunch, as well as a selection of excellent meats and a special lunch for our two little kids. A truly delicious cake was included. The welcome was wonderful and the location beautiful. Thanks to Stefania and her staff.

The food is excellent and the service is very attentive.
10/05/2026: Excellent location and setting. The food isn't top-notch, but it's good. Bruschetta and fusilli. The staff is excellent.

11/04/2026: €23 for the portion of pasta shown in the photo (taken before we started eating). It was also almost undercooked, so al dente it was. The tagliatelle with cod ordered by someone else with me was even more expensive, arriving lukewarm and almost without sauce (the same starvation portion).
04/04/2026: Not only is the food delicious, but the atmosphere is so intimate that you forget you're in such a crowded (albeit beautiful) place like Florence. We can't wait to return!

30/04/2026: OMG! Luckily ate here our first night in Siena. I will eat here as often as I can during this stay. Family owned, traditional, menu changes with what’s available locally. Slow pace, friendly but busy. Only has 14 tables all other customers seemed to be locals.
28/04/2026: A very nice and authentic experience. This is my fourth time in Siena, my first time in this restaurant, but I will be back! I recommend it.

14/05/2026: I've eaten at this restaurant several times.
The food is good, the place is welcoming, and summer is even better with an outdoor space surrounded by greenery. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are fair, and the portions are generous.
I recommend it.
And if you're lucky, you might even see the castle ghost 🏰.

16/05/2026: We were welcomed without a reservation and seated at an excellent table for two overlooking the Arno River and the Ponte Vecchio, which was very nice; the restaurant and the view are beautiful. Unfortunately, the ravioli with black truffle did not live up to expectations. The summer black truffles are of inferior quality; we didn't taste or smell any truffle in the dish, and we ended up regretting our choice. It would have been much better if they had grated some good Parmesan cheese over the dish rather than the truffles. Outside of white truffle/Pregiata season, I recommend ordering a different dish.

13/09/2025: Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere surrounded by greenery, and upon entry, the inviting yet unobtrusive smell of grilled meat fills the air. The cellar is well-stocked, and during this time of year, mushrooms galore, beautifully pan-fried and grilled caps.

25/02/2026: The atmosphere is beautiful and super welcoming, and the food is excellent: you can choose from a variety of dishes, and the menu is truly extensive. The background music makes everything more pleasant and even fun. The waitresses are very helpful and kind, welcoming us with great courtesy, and even the little dogs were a joy!! The prices are fair, and the location
is perfect.
We'll definitely be back, a well-deserved 5 stars!
24/02/2026: The food was good, and the background music was 5-star. Unfortunately, the presence of the dog, which was passed from the owner's hands to those of the waitress and then into the kitchen, is definitely something the restaurant could really do without. Furthermore, the prices are very high, and an incorrect item was included on the bill, which we only noticed later.

28/04/2026: We ate here on the last evening of our vacation.
A very nice, cheerful little restaurant with pizza, pasta, and meat dishes.
The food was delicious, and the tiramisu was truly one of the best we have ever eaten.
It is a shame about the bad American reviews, because they are not accurate. These people have no understanding of real Italian food.
The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. He did everything he could to ensure we had a wonderful evening. 5 stars.

12/05/2026: Food is ok but very overpriced - especially for a roadhouse. Sorry. They have a lot of attitude. We had one contorno, (SMALL plate of cheese and cured meat) 2 glasses of house-red wine and 2 espressos - E60+. You're paying for atmosphere.
06/05/2026: A restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. Beautiful garden. Very attentive and helpful staff. The food is top-quality and very good. The beef tartare with mustard is AMAZING!!! It's our favorite place every time we pass by.

08/04/2026: Well... We didn't like it. Very mediocre. The food wasn't anything special, and we waited forever to order. We weren't even given a menu once we were seated. And then there's the thing about them not keeping separate bills... I live abroad, and it's the norm to keep separate bills, and thank God, it's been here for a few decades now, too. I don't understand why we always have to stay in the Middle Ages. We definitely won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend it.
