12/09/2025: Gorgeous place and impeccable food. All accompanied by friendly and prompt service. The meat is the highlight.

26/08/2025: I returned after many years. The place is still charming and offers a beautiful view of the parish church, surrounded by nature. Unfortunately, the years are starting to show, and the weight of bygone glories is palpable. As for the food, the first courses were adequate, but the second courses weren't up to par for a place like this; they didn't even ask me how well the meat was cooked. The service was a bit chaotic, and there was a certain sense of disorganization.

19/10/2025: A nice place, divided into several rooms and with an outdoor area. There were four of us, and we waited about an hour and a quarter for our appetizers (a charcuterie board and a mixed charcuterie and cheese board—all good quality). The four main courses arrived after almost two hours. Obviously, they weren't appreciated given the lengthy wait. My wild boar with polenta was dry and stringy, but perhaps I'd lost my appetite. Three bottles of water each cost €35.00. The bill was definitely excessive, and the service was far too slow.

19/10/2025: Highly recommended 🔥 Although Lucca is full of beautiful restaurants and buildings, I think this place is truly unique and beautiful. If you stay inside, you'll be surrounded by a richly detailed environment, and you can even eat inside an Ape car ❣️. The food, on the other hand, was incredibly surprising. I recommend everyone try the baked potatoes with cream and chopped pistachios, plus crispy bacon... I've been drooling for a week now...

12/08/2025: The food is standard Italian fare; we ordered pasta, pizza, and ravioli. I expected a better experience. However, the desserts charmed us. There were about four options. We ordered all of them, and the tiramisu, cheesecake, brownie, and forest fruit cake were all delicious. I recommend them.

22/09/2025: Lasagna is AMAZING!!! A must try! Their chicken cacciatore was awful unfortunately, so I replaced it with Bolognese which was too salty for me… oh well… I’d say at least go for their red meat and Lasagna.

21/09/2025: A friend told us that if we had time in Florence, we absolutely had to try this restaurant. We only had one night left when we got the recommendation, and the only spot available was at 9pm. We normally don’t eat that late, but we said yes because we didn’t want to leave without experiencing it. And it was so worth it! The meat was absolute top quality, the staff were incredibly kind and professional, and the atmosphere was so cozy, the kind of place you never want to leave. Truly an unforgettable dinner and one we’d recommend to anyone visiting Florence.

05/08/2025: A simple, pleasant place with good ingredients. There aren't enough words to describe the stew with Sangiovese, as well as I'Paposo.

11/09/2025: We stopped by for lunch during a stop in Rapolano. The food was excellent, and the photos on the walls portraying Rapolano from times gone by were beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful.

28/04/2025: L'esperienza mia e della mia amica alla Trattoria Sant'Omobono è stata a dir poco superlativa. Siamo stati trattati benissimo dal cameriere Nicolò che si è preso cura di noi durante tutta la serata. Il cibo era squisito e la vista sulla cucina da una finestrella era qualcosa di poetico e caratteristico. È stato un piacere per gli occhi vedere i nostri piatti preparati con così tanto amore. Il posto non sarà molto capiente ma mangiare in un ambiente così intimo è solo che positivo a mio parere. Da provare assolutamente se si visita Pisa. Grazie ancora a chi ci lavora, in particolare a Nicolò🫶🏻 Ps cucina ovviamente tradizionale

18/04/2025: Este restaurante aparece en varias listas de 'los mejores restaurantes de Pisa', pero es difícil ver por qué. Es tradicional pero también muy básico. Esto no quiere decir que sea malo, pero si usted está buscando algo más que una comida barata, 'satisfactoria', yo buscaría en otro lugar. No hay carta de vinos, hay un menú corto para la comida, y la comida en sí está "bien", pero nada especial. El precio sin embargo es muy bueno, así que si usted está buscando una cena asequible, este es el lugar!

18/09/2025: We booked the wine lover lunch and got very dissapointed by the poor and mis-matched food. The wines were very good (rosso di montepulciano, brunello, moscadello dolce). They were poorly paired with an absolute mediocre flan (nothing crunchy to balance), tasteless ragu lasagna (more pasta than anything, almost like a mille-feuille) and lava cake (already sweet and heavy, instead for ex of a fruit based desert, or cantucci). We didnt have a sommelier, but a waitress lost in translation who did the service superficially, clumsy, on fast-forward. Didnt ever asked how was everything, if we want anything else, like a coffee for ex. So we got up and paid the 160 euro for a soulless experience. Eat-pay-leave kind of tourist trap. Very dissapoiting for a foodie, in spite of the very nice wines that deserved a much tastier playground to match with.

28/06/2025: Clean and quiet environment, familiar, as they say "alla buona", but the food is excellent. Traditional Tuscan menu with excellent steak, tender and cooked to perfection. Very good, of course, also the classic Mugello potato tortelli. More than adequate prices. I always gladly return. 2025. I am updating the review since in the meantime the restaurant-pizzeria has been completely renovated. The environments are very beautiful and well-kept, with a touch of refinement more than in the past. Always excellent service, as is the cuisine. I would like to point out, in addition to what has already been mentioned, the pizzas, truly exceptional both in terms of dough and filling, above all the digestibility is excellent. Congratulations to everyone, also for the friendliness. Well done!

13/05/2025: We are regular customers, it is a guarantee with a remarkable cost-quality ratio... we had pizza night for Mother's Day, pizzas as always tasty and super desserts... I recommend the pears and ricotta and the 7 chocolate dessert... to finish with the Marengo guarantee... highly recommended.
