We were just passing through. We only had a quick appetizer platter for two. It was very good. (I'm German and I'm not used to having to pay an extra €2.50 per person for cutlery. That was the only thing that bothered me.)

The atmosphere is homey, as is the typical local cuisine. The owner and staff are friendly and polite, and you eat a lot and you spend well. The only caveat: you eat too much 😉😉🙃

Great place, I highly recommend it! The food is good, the prices aren't cheap, and if you plan to go, make a reservation or you risk having to wait up to half an hour for a seat.

We stumbled upon it today by chance and fell in love. One of those places that have sadly become rare, without frills, without unnecessary frills... friendly service, good food, and generous portions. Chef Andrea is extremely kind, the prices are affordable; if we're ever in the area again, it'll be a must-visit.

08/05/2026: Unfortunately, a disappointment. We ordered lobster with spaghetti. After we pointed this out to the waiter, it turned out to be more like spaghetti with lobster sauce. There was hardly any lobster flavor. The portions were also rather small. Otherwise, the location was very quiet and the staff very friendly. But the menu was very disappointing.
05/05/2026: We had a delicious meal at this trattoria as part of a Food Tour - simply delicious. Staff was amazing!!!

15/04/2026: Recommend it when you got there, that Italian dish with intensine is always my favourite. This time I try it again and also like Florentine style as well
22/03/2026: A superb experience. Thanks to the staff and Chef Andrea Landi's advice. After the presentation, we trusted him for his expertise and experience. Since we wanted to have a Florentine steak for lunch, he recommended the best one he had available: the Portuguese Minhota. A spectacular presentation, a 1.5-kilo cut, with an excellent lean-to-fat ratio, and truly beautiful to look at. Perfectly cooked, with a unique flavor, tender as butter, and an intense, aromatic aroma. We accompanied the meat with rosemary potatoes and fried artichokes. We sampled an excellent Colomba cake and a limoncello to finish. You outdo yourself every time we come. We'll definitely be back on our next relaxing and shopping day at the Barberino del Mugello outlet.
