06/05/2026: While the food was good, I think it's always important to evaluate the overall experience. The main issue was the discrepancy between the portion sizes and the price. Normally, the price would be in line with other restaurants, but for slightly larger portions.

The real stars are the pasta dishes, prepared with fresh homemade pasta: authentic flavors, generous portions, and quality ingredients that are evident in every bite. The care and passion behind the kitchen are clearly evident.
The service is friendly and attentive, helping make lunch or dinner even more enjoyable.

26/03/2026: Dishes that are definitely not typical, commercial cheeses and cured meats and definitely not Tuscan, they brought the bill without even asking for it, practically as if to say go away, I wouldn't put it in typical Tuscan trattorias but in tourist trattorias

13/04/2026: I've been to this trattoria twice. The food is exceptional, authentic, the atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the prices are truly reasonable considering the quality and freshness. One of the few trattorias where you can savor the flavors of this region. Generous portions.
09/04/2026: It's a real trattoria, so the atmosphere is very simple. I ate the best tagliata of my life; I recommend everyone try it, perhaps splitting it because it's a bit of a chore...

02/05/2026: We had a wonderful day. The pappardelle with wild boar were excellent, as were the pici with wild boar and white meat sauce. The panna cotta was excellent, as was the passion fruit mousse. Mara was very kind and welcoming. Recommended.

28/04/2026: A beautiful location, surrounded by greenery, with large outdoor spaces, a children's playground, and a splendid pool.
Good food and friendly staff.
Rather high prices: we found it excessive to pay €35 for a simple pasta dish for the children (plus an error on the bill, with one child being charged extra). For adults, about €50 per person for shared appetizers, mixed grill, wine, dessert, and coffee.
The decision to serve some dishes on sharing trays rather than individually plated is unconvincing. However, we appreciated the fact that children were not charged a cover charge.
Overall, a beautiful location and good quality, but the value for money could be improved.

17/11/2025: We went with friends for a birthday lunch. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, the cooking was perfect (honorable mention for the tagliata), and the service was excellent.
We will definitely be back, highly recommended!!!

03/12/2025: Beautiful B&B! The location is simply perfect, in the heart of the city and close to everything. The rooftop terrace is incredible, the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. The rooms are tastefully decorated and truly welcoming. The owners are extremely kind and helpful, making you feel right at home. Without a doubt, the best place in town.

10/04/2026: This was surprisingly forgettable. Not awful or bad, just not memorable at all.
Our waiter was probably 14 years old. Really. It was cute because it's a family run place. When I asked him for a Brunello recommendation, he had an answer with confidence, but that wine turned out to be pretty whimsy (no body) especially for a Brunello. He spilled it when he poured, and had the social skills of an eighth grader, naturally.
Carpaccio was pretty good and quite generous. Bruschete was kind of bland. Margherita pizza was fair (by Italian standards). Pana Cotta was quite good.
We appreciated very much that they had about a dozen wines sold by the glass. Prices were reasonable.

09/05/2026: The restaurant is historic.....it has always been very expensive, but now it has become touristy and low quality with senseless sky-high prices, among other things in an old, poorly maintained, cramped and noisy environment.

04/04/2026: The pizzas might have been good but the service was terrible, the waiters were all more unpleasant than the others, you didn't even have time to finish the last bite and they were right there to take your plate away, very rude, we will never go back, I strongly advise all the waiters to be a little nicer

Maurilio and Roberta are the soul of this place, with their top-quality food, wonderful hospitality, professionalism, and attentive customer service—you can tell they're industry experts. If I had to choose where to go for dinner to celebrate a special day, I'd have no doubts: Roberta and Maurilio's. Highly recommended.
