Nice, cool, relaxing place. Courteous staff and a friendly owner. I ordered the tasting menu but was disappointed. The appetizers were really poor: 2 slices of finocchiona, 2 slices of capocollo, and 2 very simple crostini. The first courses, however, were good, especially the tagliatelle, and plentiful. The second course was a mixed roast consisting of 1 sausage, 1 rib, and a chicken leg that was tough and wouldn't go down. Really not enough for a mixed roast. Coffee, water, and Torcolo and Vin Santo wine. I'll probably go back, but I definitely won't order the tasting menu.

I'm back after many years, and as often happens, things change, but the quality is always excellent. It's a favorite place for my family! 😍 The food is excellent. Now there's an à la carte menu, whereas years ago... many people only had the set menu that you could order several times (although it's difficult to finish everything). I recommend a stop, both for the food and the always magical atmosphere. The waiters are all young, Diego is very good and competent, they dart like lightning up that ancient staircase. Ha ha.

I returned after more than 30 years... everything was the same as it was then, simple but exquisite dishes.
