22/05/2025: Went to the cooking class and it was fantastic. I’m well versed now in 3 styles of pasta and a very delicious tiramisu! Among making wonderful connections with classmates and enjoying our meal together, we felt very satisfied with the value this brought to our lives and trip.

05/04/2025: In questa osteria trovi il cibo genuino come una volta, il tortello mugellano di qualità eccellente, porzioni generose e attenzione verso il cliente. I prezzi sono veramente onesti, come non si trovano più da nessuna parte. La proprietaria è stata molto gentile con i nostri figli, ci ha persino regalato un pezzo di crostata a testa per far fare loro merenda! Se ci troveremo nuovamente nella zona ci fermeremo senza ombra di dubbio! Super consigliato!

14/05/2025: Conosco questo ristorante dal 2023 e da allora me ne sono innamorata. Anche quest'anno ci siamo tornati appositamente con tanto di viaggio in macchina (che ci vale tutto), per il mio compleanno e non potevamo fare scelta migliore. Le tartare di carne sono strepitose(le migliori mangiate), carne saporitissima, succosa e di altissima qualità (di animali veramente liberi di pascolare nei prati), la pasta tutta rigorosamente fatta a mano in casa e freschissima con ingredienti genuini e freschi e saporiti. Tutto artigianale, per non parlare dei dolci sono fenomenali. Di tiramisù ne ho mangiati tanti in più parti di Italia ma questo ha un sapore per il suo mascarpone spaziale e una cremosità densa perfetta, è un tiramisù unico nel suo genere. Pannacotta strepitosa (altro che quelle robe gelatinose) e i suoi cantucci caldi sono la ciligiena sulla torta! Purtroppo i dolci ce li siamo spazzolati e mi sono completamente dimenticata di fare le foto! Vini toscani di qualità e anche il vinsanto buonissimo! Menzione speciale a Romano il titolare persona di grandissimo cuore sempre gentilissimo e disponibilissimo che intrattiene e rallegra gli ospiti con la sua simpatia! Lo adoro, è il numero 1! Ringraziamento anche a tutto il suo team, le ragazze sempre con il sorriso e di una disponibilità ed educazione incredibile! Grazie di cuore, torneremo sicuramente nel futuro ❤️

11/05/2025: Not every place is worthy of its "stars". We found the owner of this place to be pretentious and disingenuous! The owner showed obvious preferential treatment to larger parties, ad nauseam. Our food was average, far from exceptional, and our cinghaile was actually tough. When I expressed our concerns, he told me I should "go dine elsewhere". There are so many wonderful restaurants in the region... I would not waste my time on this one. BTW, my rating on atmosphere might have been higher, were we not seated right by the door as we were only a party of two.

03/06/2025: Lots of choice among typical Tuscan dishes, very good food. Even the desserts are really well made, not at all obvious!

02/06/2025: Typical trattoria, although if you look closely the cloth tablecloth raises the level a little. Truly characteristic environment, fast service, helpful and friendly waiters do the rest to make the evening pleasant. We ate bruschetta and panzanella appetizers, both decent overall. Gnocchi with tomato and fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, the first courses were decent, the second courses good and of quality. Closing with a typical dessert of cantucci and vinsanto, adding a tiramisu. Definitely worth returning.

27/04/2025: Un bel locale storico con una bella apparecchiatura peccato che a mio marito abbiano servito un filetto al pepe verde imbarazzante da com'era piccolo. Inoltre poiché eravamo vicini all'ora di chiusura hanno sparecchiato il mio coperto e quello di mio marito mentre nostro figlio stava ancora pranzando e la cameriera non era una ragazzino appena uscita da scuola. Conto un po' salato. Sicuramente non ci torneremo né lo consiglieremo

18/05/2025: Expectations were good but they went to waste! What a big disappointment. Fried greasy and salty from a mix of bones put there. Then hurray for the frozen potatoes worth their weight in gold! Not to forget the pressure from the waiters as at the 90th minute of a football match. Avoid!

18/05/2025: Le aspettative erano buone ma sono andate fritte! Che grande delusione. Fritto unto e salato di un mix di ossa messe li. Poi evviva le patate surgelate a peso d'oro! Per non dimenticare la pressione da parte dei camerieri come al 90' di una partita di calcio. Da evitare!

06/05/2025: A truly memorable lunch! We have been several times already, and it never disappoints! The Osteria Porta del Chianti is a small jewel immersed in the tranquility of Falciani. The menu is a journey into the most authentic Tuscan flavors. We tasted several dishes and each one was a confirmation: tagliatelle with white ragù and porcini mushrooms, tortelli with wild boar ragù and tagliatelle with nana sauce – all excellent, with fresh pasta and rich seasonings. Among the second courses, the stew with vinsanto, the sliced ​​meat with lard and rosemary was tender and tasty, and the lamb chops cooked to perfection. The house red wine accompanies the whole meal very well, rounded and pleasant. Finally, the desserts: semifreddo with berries, tiramisu and grandmother's cake served warm - one better than the other, but grandmother's cake deserves a special mention: simply not to be missed! Warm welcome, rustic but refined environment, attentive service. Fair prices for the quality and quantity. Thanks to the owner Francesca!

11/05/2025: Every time I go to Pergine I can't help but have dinner or lunch in this restaurant where I have always found quality cuisine with first-rate raw materials. The kindness and professionalism of the owners are the backdrop to the excellent service. The Florentine steak served on a hot stone and the flambéed pork loin are the owner's specialities. Highly recommended. Excellent wine list. Adequate value for money.

17/09/2024: Thursday Japanese evening. Excellent uramaki, good chicken ravioli but the flavor of the vegetables dominated that of the meat, chicken with an amazing sauce, very good mix of sashimi including the oyster, meat and vegetarian sandwiches nice to look at but with little filling, very good desserts with generous portions, the Predessert was very popular. Excellent service, the only flaw was being able to order the miso soup almost at the end of the meal because the off-menu items were not communicated to us when ordering. Extensive wine list with excellent labels. Account in line with how much eaten. Beautiful experience, to be repeated.

18/05/2025: Prezzo troppo alto per quantità e servizio maleducato, qualità abbastanza buona. Hanno sbagliato ben 4 ordini… per niente cortesi (ovviamente per il prezzo non è stato un buon servizio)

11/04/2025: Dopo aver prenotato, uno di noi ha richiamato per fare piccola precisazione scoprendo che .... la prenotazione non era stata registrata. Prenotazione rinnovata, rimediata, fortunatamente. Arrivati alla spicciolata, il tavolo era pronto, ma per la comanda abbiamo dovuto attendere un pochino, poco male, chiacchierando quasi non te ne accordi. Antipasti; buoni affettati, crostini un po'risicati, rimediati con altro piatto di portata, carciofi fritti decisamente buoni, anzi, buonissimi!!! Ordiniamo le pizze: siamo in 8 a festeggiare il compleanno di un lui e una lei- Il vinello della casa è frizzantino e leggero, le battute si sprecano, ma delle pizze .... boh, il forno è li, a poca distanza, ogni tanto parte un tagliere dal bel diametro, pizzonato, ma da noi .... forse il forno è piccolo, non è ben chiaro. E' ben chiaro che le pizze arrivano due a due, distanziate nei tempi, purtroppo. Agli altri tavoli, si mangia. Morale, non ci è piaciuto vedere che c'era chi mangiava e chi no: è pure arrivata una pizza sbagliata, ce la siamo tenuta, chi era in attesa della sua scelta, qualche "spuntino" lo ha comunque fatto. Peccato, servizio affidato a ragazzi e ragazze giovani, da coordinare. Una signora del gruppo ha avuto la sua pizza dopo tempo immemorabile. Non va bene, siamo in una pizzera: se hai una comanda di 8 pizze, segui la comanda e non vai a caso, come ci è sembrato sia stato fatto. Pizze comunque gradevoline, nel complesso. Abbiamo avuto tutto il tempo, nei fatti, per i piccoli festeggiamenti. Il conto è stato equo.

11/09/2024: my husband and I stayed at this inn for a few days at the end of August. We booked the same day of arrival and the owner Mr. Alessio was very helpful in welcoming us (which is not to be taken for granted for a small accommodation facility) so for this reason our first thanks go. The Tuscan-style room was welcoming, spacious, quiet and above all very clean. Varied breakfast in the morning served on the terrace of the inn with a panoramic view of the Maremma hinterland. We have always had dinner at the inn as the food is all homemade by Alessio's family and it is all absolutely delicious and the price is more than appropriate. I will certainly recommend to anyone coming to the area to take advantage of this true hospitality of both the owner and his parents, very courteous people and always available for a chat. Precise only for those who want to have a beach holiday in the surrounding areas, from the village of Buriano which has the timeless charm of times gone by, it takes about 20 minutes by car. thank you very much.

28/08/2024: Ritornato a cenare in questo locale, dopo esserci stati la prima volta pochi anni fa: il buon ricordo è stato confermato. Vengono proposti piatti tipici della zona, dove in particolare i pici ed i tortelli svettano (fatti a mano). Altra specialità del locale e la carne, che viene cotta alla griglia. Nel fuori menù, degni di nota i fiori di zucca ripieni di ricotta (che fortunatamente ho avuto modo di trovare anche stavolta). Oltre a qualche vino di etichetta, viene proposto anche un vino di loro produzione (a mio avviso degno di essere provato). Dolci della tradizione italiana, anche quelli preparati dal locale. Gradevole l'area esterna (dove sono accolti anche i cani), al pari della veranda panoramica e della sala. Conto adeguato (non economico, ma neppure eccessivo) ai piatti ed ai locali. Se in zona, consigliato.
