02/05/2026: The food was below average for Italian cuisine, but the level of racism was extremely high. We arrived at the restaurant at 2:30 PM and saw many people dining in the outdoor garden. However, we were told we could only sit inside and not outside. A waitress wouldn't let me go outside to enjoy the view. I asked her several times why, but she didn't answer. Given the situation, we were the only Asians, which probably explained why she couldn't tell us anything. I strongly advise Asians and sensible people against eating at this restaurant, as the food is terrible. Since we were very hungry and there were no other restaurants nearby, we had no choice but to eat here. We ordered two portions of pasta with black truffle. The pasta was very hard, the truffle flavor was weak, and the taste was much worse than the pasta served in other Italian restaurants. It was a truly disappointing dining experience.

27/04/2026: We had a wonderful lunch here. A very good and attractive menu. Something different for a change from the other restaurants on the square. Carefully selected meals. Highly recommended. Take the time to eat here. (If you are in a hurry, go to McDonald's.) And enjoy the atmosphere, both outside and inside. The lunch was fantastic. Prepared with love. If we ever return to the village, we will definitely eat here.

08/04/2026: Friendly staff! Delicious breakfast with homemade cakes. Available from 9:30 a.m. during the Easter period, which is useful for campers. Three slices of cake and a macchiato, total €13. We'd also recommend a croissant or other sweet treat for a more economical breakfast, but we understand if this might be a hassle. Thanks for the service!

08/04/2026: When in Cortona, don't miss this restaurant tucked away off the main piazza (Piazza digli Repubblica) at the end of an alley street right between Piano B and Molesini Enoteca. The food is excellent with matching, friendly service. Having been closed while ownership shifted, it has recently reopened with the food comparable to previous iteration (according to locals). The mixed antipasti makes for a perfect shareable appetizer with a variety of samplings. The Zuppa Inglese is a nice deviation from the typical tiramisu more commonly found on dessert menus and also offered here. Different desserts but this one, equally delicious!

13/03/2026: An amazing happenstance for our group of 6. We were unknowingly the first dinner guests- opening night. We had a variety of primos (pastas, gnocchi, pork shank) that were all perfect, followed by a secondi of Florentine biefsteak. As the first night, the new owner (Francesco), didn't have the first red wine I ordered and also realized one shelf of wine was out of reach behind our table. (Opening night snags). He was mortified. Nothing to worry about. I was happy because i was ordering based on grapes (sangiovesse) and now he could pick perfect wines for us. (They were!) The cost seemed so small for the meal and experience we enjoyed. All capped off by some limmoncelle(?) or grapa with herbs from Lilli's (owner /wife) garden. I can't imagine how you get better than we had. So we'll have to try their other restaurant where all the snags have been cleared and everything is practiced.

21/03/2026: Stunning, refined location with a breathtaking view. The cuisine is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the wines are simply top-notch. Highly recommended.

16/03/2026: Absolutely stunning property with world class Brunello paired with some incredible food too. Marco did a great job walking us through the menu and the pairing recommendations. We enjoyed 4 different wines at lunch and were so impressed that we also took the wine tasting experience as well! First class all around…cannot recommend this place enough.

19/04/2026: The restaurant sits right in the in the famous Arnolfo's Square. A beauty itself. Everything is elegant and the surrounding alone worth a visit. Then there is the stuff, very welcoming and knowledgeable. They were happy to talk about the food we were about to orde. Very polite and friendly. Especially the owner. Food was of outstanding quality and my risotto Verde were delicious. We were very happy and we can't wait to be back.

26/12/2025: We stayed in Rapolano on Christmas Day and Christmas Eve, treating ourselves to a spa experience. We then discovered, surprisingly, that the real gift was booking two consecutive evenings at this Trattoria! We were greeted with a complimentary welcome drink (a rare, precious gesture) and then immediately experienced the spontaneous kindness of the dining room staff, their smiles, their attentive service, and the delicious dishes that tasted of things made with love and pleasure. We thank the owner and chef for this wellness experience on such special days of the year. After meeting her, we learned that you can be anywhere and receive any service, but the unforgettable ingredient, which changes and transforms everything, remains the human heart.
