10/08/2025: I really liked this restaurant when I visited Florence in July with my family. The staff is welcoming, helpful, and patient as we needed some more time to decide. The food was great! I had the pasta with burrata and my other family members pasta with clams, slow cooked meat, and a meat dish. We always share with each other so I got to taste their dishes as well. Pasta was al dente, sauces full of flavour, and portions were big. I bookmarked this place so I can visit again when I travel back to Florence!

09/08/2025: The restaurant is very well located, the food is excellent, and the waiter, Domenico, is very friendly. We'll return if we return to Florence.

11/09/2024: my husband and I stayed at this inn for a few days at the end of August. We booked the same day of arrival and the owner Mr. Alessio was very helpful in welcoming us (which is not to be taken for granted for a small accommodation facility) so for this reason our first thanks go. The Tuscan-style room was welcoming, spacious, quiet and above all very clean. Varied breakfast in the morning served on the terrace of the inn with a panoramic view of the Maremma hinterland. We have always had dinner at the inn as the food is all homemade by Alessio's family and it is all absolutely delicious and the price is more than appropriate. I will certainly recommend to anyone coming to the area to take advantage of this true hospitality of both the owner and his parents, very courteous people and always available for a chat. Precise only for those who want to have a beach holiday in the surrounding areas, from the village of Buriano which has the timeless charm of times gone by, it takes about 20 minutes by car. thank you very much.

28/08/2024: Ritornato a cenare in questo locale, dopo esserci stati la prima volta pochi anni fa: il buon ricordo è stato confermato. Vengono proposti piatti tipici della zona, dove in particolare i pici ed i tortelli svettano (fatti a mano). Altra specialità del locale e la carne, che viene cotta alla griglia. Nel fuori menù, degni di nota i fiori di zucca ripieni di ricotta (che fortunatamente ho avuto modo di trovare anche stavolta). Oltre a qualche vino di etichetta, viene proposto anche un vino di loro produzione (a mio avviso degno di essere provato). Dolci della tradizione italiana, anche quelli preparati dal locale. Gradevole l'area esterna (dove sono accolti anche i cani), al pari della veranda panoramica e della sala. Conto adeguato (non economico, ma neppure eccessivo) ai piatti ed ai locali. Se in zona, consigliato.

16/08/2025: A small restaurant that doesn't need to shout about its elegance, but does so with understated elegance. It boasts a delightful outdoor garden and excellent dishes, including the brain and fried rabbit en cobweb, a signature dish for decades. Highly recommended; prices are fair!

14/08/2025: It's a shame because the wine list is worth it. Otherwise, the staff was polite but cold. It was a really fast lunch, with the table being cleared in installments, and the first course plates being taken away to bring the second course while someone was still eating (not that it was taking half an hour, mind you). The snails were very good, and the "gran tagliere" appetizer was a plate with three slices of prosciutto, four croutons, and two small pieces of cheese, all very, very bland. The fried food, which should be their specialty, was actually nothing special. In fact, the chicken and rabbit were very bland, and the cooking was not good, resulting in a very greasy result! Lastly, I can't stand reheated moka pot coffee. It's something I can't stand, especially at €2!

14/08/2025: Excellent location, right in the town square. The room was standard, fairly clean, but a towel was missing, and a bar of soap was already opened. But the biggest problem was the lack of breakfast. We'd mentioned that one of us ate a savory breakfast, but the morning clerk didn't know, so she brought a single croissant and then half a schiacciatina from the next door. The coffee and cappuccino were poor.

25/07/2025: Non conoscevamo questa osteria, ma siamo usciti davvero soddisfatti. Le porzioni sono abbondanti; abbiamo ordinato gli spaghetti guanciale e pecorino e sono davvero speciali. Cortesia e pulizia ottimi! Consigliato!!!!!!

20/07/2025: Ristorante a 2 passi dalla piazza principale. Molto accogliente e si mangia molto bene! Il personale è disponibile e i prezzi sono ok! Consiglio vivamente! Top!

07/08/2025: Homemade food, good, fire-cooked meat, handmade pappardelle, nothing to complain about except that the price-to-quantity ratio, not quality, is exaggerated. At 45 euros per person, I'm expecting something like wild boar and venison, with portions worthy of a Tuscan hand, something that makes you say, "I'm not going to give it to him anymore, I'll roll over." There you go. The atmosphere is beautiful, except for the owner's attitude, which, if you don't know her, can be a real turn-off.

03/08/2025: Where do I begin... the thirty-year-old waitress who calls us "guys" is already worth six stars, not to mention her mother, the owner, who is a figure who tells her what she thinks and she gets it. It feels like being in one of those Roman restaurants... the place is in the open countryside at the beginning of the Casentino, a farmhouse completely renovated in a rustic style. Tables with cotton tablecloths and microfiber placemats. Sparkling and still water on the table plus a bottle of red wine. Lunch is a fixed menu of Tuscan appetizers, two first courses with a Romaiolo-style ripasso, a mixed roast main course plus roast potatoes and salad, also with a ripasso. Two desserts: a donut with Vin Santo plus a tiramisu. Coffee and an after-dinner drink. €45, more than well spent and deserved. If there were six stars, I would have gladly given them.

01/08/2025: Birthday dinner Excellent food. The host was knowledgeable, kind, and helpful without being intrusive. Excellent meat, generous portions. Good house wine. Beautiful location with a view of the valley. Children's area.

04/05/2025: Piccolo locale nel centro di Arezzo. Abbiamo cenato nei tavoli all' esterno. Vino ottimo, molto buoni i pici con ragù di chianina. Prezzi onesti e personale molto gentile.

21/08/2025: We stopped in for lunch after a stroll around Bolgheri, and we had a great time. Excellent food in a wonderful atmosphere. There was a bit of a wait, admittedly... but we always have to be patient with those working on behalf of us tourists. Well done.

14/07/2025: We dined on the panoramic terrace in a very intimate atmosphere... The all-you-can-eat menu is fantastic: lots of small samples from the entire menu, which holds some lovely surprises. All the food was delicious, it's already the second time we've been there and the other diners were also pleasantly surprised. WELL DONE!

05/07/2025: Excellent experience. We were 2 adults and 2 kids And we really enjoyed this place. All the dishes were very tasty, service was quick and nice. It was fun to try so many different flavours.

09/08/2025: We're from Barcelona and found this truly special and welcoming taverna. The food is made with excellent ingredients and cooked with love. They also have a spectacular selection of local wines. We loved it!

12/07/2025: Che dire ….. locale carino in un borgo del Chianti, cucina a mio avviso nella media , preso un crostino nero toscano….da toscano dico …no , tonno di coniglio dove ho trovato pezzettini di ossa … e due filetti dove si era chiesto connatura al sangue…..e non lo era….in compenso la carne buona ma a mio giudizio nella norma. Servizio , ok i ragazzi di Sala molto gentili, la ragazza che ha preso l’ordine un po’ “ scocciata “ non proprio in linea con il resto del personale. Mi aspettavo qualcosa in più, prezzi adeguati a ciò che viene offerto. …non credo tornerò…..
