12/10/2025: The informal atmosphere is fine, go for a village tavern and low expectations, and the extremely limited menu is fine, but there's a limit to everything. The pici aren't pici, but rather industrial, pre-cooked long pasta (they arrive within thirty seconds of ordering). The cacio e pepe is "artificial." The roast is dry and lean, and the veal steak is cooked in a "sloppy" way. The only decent thing is the French fries. Honestly, a bit lacking.

09/09/2025: I went there for a friend's birthday, 8 people in total! We had a wonderful time! The food was excellent, with a selection of locally sourced ingredients; the staff and owner were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming; the restaurant is beautiful, both indoors and out; the sliced ​​beef with potatoes was phenomenal and excellent value for money. In fact, she treated us wonderfully, and we ate wonderfully! We had two generous appetizers to share, a first course, a second course, a dessert, red wine, coffee, and liqueur, for a total of €35 for 7 people, since the birthday girl didn't have to pay. The owner even made a delicious gluten-free and lactose-free cake for the birthday girl, using fresh ingredients! We'll definitely be back again, either individually or as a couple! Highly recommended!

04/10/2025: We stayed at this hotel for three days, and the experience couldn't have been better. From the first moment we stayed, we felt very comfortable: the rooms were impeccable, always clean and tidy, and the breakfast was perfect, both in terms of the quality of the food and the service. The attention from the entire staff was excellent, from the breakfast team to the hotel management and everyone else. The location is ideal for easily exploring all of Tuscany, making it a perfect starting point for any trip. We would also like to especially thank you for offering us a superior room with better views, as we were traveling for a business photo shoot. This gesture made us much more comfortable and relaxed, which made all the difference in our stay. In short, we are truly happy and eager to come back. Thank you for everything!

12/07/2025: Siamo stati nuovamente in questo piccolo locale. Che dire, tutto veramente buono. Dagli antipasti, ai primi, ai secondi e ai dolci. Tutto veramente incredibile. Pici con pomodori e guanciale veramente ottimi. Guancia come un burro, si scioglieva letteralmente in bocca. Nn c'era bisogno di masticarla. Dolci meravigliosi. Tutto accompagnato da ottimo vino di Montepulciano. Personale e proprietario molto simpatici e attenti. Prezzi giusti per la qualità e la quantità servita. Locale super consigliato in una delle piazze più caratteristiche di Pienza. Complimenti a tutti. Ci torneremo molto presto.

Iba a elegir la carne de cerdo, pero como mencionó que era un corte graso del cuello cambié de opinión ya que mi condición médica significa que no digiero la grasa fácilmente y termino en una cantidad increíble de dolor si lo como. Después de tantos años, ni siquiera me gusta el sabor pero eso es secundario y no siento la necesidad de explicar. Estoy agradecido por la información adicional, pero fue un gran salto para él volver los ojos y asumir que querría el filete bien hecho. No, medio raro está bien, simplemente no puedo arriesgarme a comer carne grasa pero me sentí juzgado.

Located near the ancient castle, it offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately transports you to another era. The menu is rich in traditional Tuscan dishes with authentic flavors: the fresh, handmade pasta is a must-try! The portions are generous, and the value is more than fair. Besides the excellent food, a visit to the Castello di Sorci, just a short walk away, is definitely worth it. It's fascinating and evocative, rich in history and legend; it's said to be inhabited by a ghost, or perhaps more than one.

01/09/2025: We stopped here on a walk-through, and the place is truly beautiful. On the ground floor, you can admire the ladies rolling out fresh pasta. The appetizer is simple but excellent (crostini and cured meats). The tagliata is delicious (I recommend bringing salt, pepper, and oil before serving). 16/10/2025: Booking through The Fork gets you 50% off, but it's a complete scam! It's awful! I never imagined such terrible food could be found in Italy! It's astonishing! My The Fork review was even maliciously deleted. No wonder they have such high reviews and remain so popular! If you see this review, avoid this restaurant!

16/10/2025: It's so surprising! In Italy, where there's so much delicious food, I actually found such delicious food! So delicious! So delicious! You can make reservations and get discounts on The Fork, but the prices are so expensive! Comments on The Fork are constantly being tampered with! !!! The sauce is just sauce, and the noodles are just noodles. It feels like the kitchen is just heating the food, nothing more! Previous reviews suggest this used to be a good restaurant. I wonder what's happened? Did they change their business model or the owner? Many second-time customers said it was not as good as before.

02/10/2025: After two excellent experiences, it fully deserves five stars. The atmosphere is informal yet refined and welcoming, with the colors and aromas of home. Meat dishes, as per Tuscan tradition, compliments to the chef and all the staff. We'll be back again.

14/08/2025: Excellent location, right in the town square. The room was standard, fairly clean, but a towel was missing, and a bar of soap was already opened. But the biggest problem was the lack of breakfast. We'd mentioned that one of us ate a savory breakfast, but the morning clerk didn't know, so she brought a single croissant and then half a schiacciatina from the next door. The coffee and cappuccino were poor.

13/10/2025: Very nice and welcoming place. Let's start with the service, which wasn't bad but not quite up to par. The waiter, probably a novice, first forgot to bring water, which was requested a second time after a few minutes of waiting. Then, when the appetizers arrived, he hadn't cleared the bread plates, and we were the ones who had to put them aside and hold onto them until the main course. Considering the €3.50 cover charge, I expected a little more attentive service. Appetizers: We had the same appetizer, porcini mushrooms. It was good but too sweet and sour, a characteristic that recurs in several dishes (too much for me). Main course: I had the chicken with ricotta and sweet potatoes, while my boyfriend had the onion stuffed with Taleggio cheese. We both didn't enjoy these dishes very much. The side dish, the same for both main courses, was sweet potatoes, decidedly soggy and super greasy. I left them on my plate. The chicken piece, given the price, was honestly too small, but the flavor was good and delicate, along with the creamy base. Regarding my boyfriend's second course, the stuffed onion, honestly, the price didn't match the dish either: simple, unpretentious ingredients for a price that was too high. The flavor wasn't pleasant, especially on the outside of the onion. The desserts were good. If we hadn't had the 30% discount from The Fork, the total price would have been much higher than we paid, about €60 per person, which, to be honest, is a bit too much for what we ate and the service provided.

29/09/2025: Very delicious food and an excellent experience overall. We didn’t have to wait at all, and everything we tried was outstanding. Dishes we highly recommend are the Sformatino di Patate (antipasti), the Tagliolini al Tartufo, and the Millefoglie al Cioccolato Bianco – all truly flavorful and excellent choices.
