17/08/2025: When we went for lunch, Alessia immediately impressed us with her expertise and kindness. We had two appetizers and two first courses, each one better than the other, accompanied by an excellent rosé wine... and then the desserts... speechless... the location was beautiful.

09/08/2025: An excellent dining experience that we repeated twice. The friendly staff, in my opinion, isn't the restaurant's strong point, but rather the very welcoming atmosphere in a beautiful alley and the carefully selected, high-quality dishes. I really enjoyed the pici, with all their variations. Prices aren't cheap, but they're average. Recommended.

02/07/2025: Looking for fresh food they suggested Artemide and it couldn't have been a better suggestion. It's not around the corner. It takes 40 minutes to get there from Florence but once you get there it's really worth it. Fresh, great food and great wine. Friendly and efficient staff. Everything perfect. 24/05/2025: The menu (also in English) is quite varied. The prices are okay, not very expensive. The food is good. We ate steak, pasta, salad and fries. The homemade tiramisu is of great class. The restaurant is somewhat tucked away and is not very cozy on the inside, but is definitely worth a visit.

22/07/2025: A restaurant with a trattoria feel. Very good food, from the fried polenta to the steak. Their roasted vegetables are a must-try. The service is especially noteworthy, as it's truly attentive and courteous.

18/07/2025: Piacevole sorpresa a due passi dalla A1, uscita Sesto Fiorentino. La qualità delle materie prime era ottima: abbiamo preso un primo di rigatoni cacio e pepe con baccalà molto buono. Inoltre abbiamo mangiato una frittura di pesce ottima, pesce fresco (gamberoni freschissimi) , non unta, sfiziosa. Anche i piatti di carne, cotta al momento sulla brace , erano molto invitanti - Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo - Consigliatissimo!

05/08/2025: The most amazing dinner - locally sourced, fresh and delicious. Kudos to the kitchen staff for the best meal we experienced during our 2 weeks in Italy. Our hosts welcomed us as guests and their servers were very attentive. We especially enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in a country setting that included talented musicians and wonderful wine pairings. Delizioso!

Non si può fare a meno di fare il giro degli antipasti, senza dimenticare la tartare. Buona la scelta di vini proposta. Conto "onesto", da ritornarci"....magari in una serata meno afosa! L'affascinante Magliano in Toscana, con il suo giro delle mura, sono una degna cornice all'esperienza.

26/07/2025: We went twice and the service was really good, the dishes were very well prepared, and the ingredients were top-notch. A variety of wines were served, with very in-depth knowledge of the subject. The place is very well-appointed and clean. You can't come to Bolgheri without visiting it.

17/07/2025: Best lasagna in Florence HANDS DOWN. Me and mom doubled back because the food was delicious and wait staff were great. The carbonara is amazing but the lasagna is the star of this place

16/07/2025: The food is really good. I ordered the beef steak with mushroom and mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked as I desired. Good quality wine options. The waiters were sad but compressible considering the hot weather.

02/08/2025: Really, we randomly walked through the door with all the stickers on it, making in impossible to peek in, but as soon as we opened the door, we knew we had to have lunch here. Homey vibe, warm staff and some shared tables!

07/08/2025: There's nothing like Ruggero. The owners, staff, and food are above average. Only Florentines come to these places, and foreigners are the only ones who have received this pearl of information. The cured meats and livers are top-notch, the carrettiera, pasta with truffles or mushrooms when in season, roast beef or pigeon above the rest. The pork loin is the best piece of meat cooked in the world. If you don't stop by, it's like you've never been to Florence.

07/08/2025: Pensavo Peggio was an absolutely wonderful place. My wife and I found it on Yelp and decided to go on a whim and boy are we glad we did. The food was incredible. I think we will both be thinking about the delicious potato ravioli in truffle cream sauce for the rest of our lives. It was the best cream sauce either of us has ever had. The owner couldn’t have been more friendly. He came out and said hi to us and seemed genuinely passionate about his restaurant and food. Highly recommend this cute and lovely restaurant to anyone in Firenze!
