05/01/2026: A truly pleasant dining experience! Excellent service, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive staff. The place was very welcoming, and the food was excellent, from appetizer to dessert, with balanced flavors that were never overwhelming. I'm not a wine expert, so I left the selection to the waitress, but I have to say the fruity red was delicious! The quality/price ratio was absolutely right. I highly recommend this experience. Thanks to all the staff.

They are always courteous and attentive, while respecting the customer's space. The food is excellent, with meticulous attention to detail that makes every dish special. I tried a superb raw ham and meat tartare, and a first course of ricotta and spinach-filled ravioli with ragù, which were truly delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, and the fresh pasta with the delicate filling was exquisite. The desserts were also wonderful and unique. In short, if there had been 10 stars, I would have given them for everything, from the food to the very kind staff. Congratulations on your professionalism and dedication.

15/01/2026: I stumbled upon this little restaurant by chance, while passing by. I was looking for a simple place to grab a quick lunch before heading to the train station. It was an extremely positive experience: friendly and welcoming staff, very good food and wine. It's a shame I was in a hurry to catch my train and couldn't spend more time enjoying their food.

12/01/2026: Affordable lunch menu includes a first course, a second course, a side dish, and a quarter of a liter of wine. Very good pasta with ragù and exquisite lampredotto! I came in for the truffle taglierini, but I was jealous of something else. Very good service and a Florentine trattoria-like atmosphere.

01/12/2025: After a few days exploring beautiful Tuscany, I booked this trattoria because it had good reviews. Well, if you're passing through, come and eat, it's definitely worth it. The atmosphere is beautiful and rustic, the service is fast, friendly, and helpful, the prices are reasonable, and the wine list is extensive. The pappardelle are amazing, the wild boar is tender and tomato-free, and it's served with currants, the beef tagliata is incredibly tender, and the onions and baked potatoes are amazing. To finish, two delicious desserts. And by the way, a good wine to accompany everything is a must.

06/01/2026: Simple and welcoming place. Very friendly staff, prompt, prompt, and unobtrusive service. I had a delicious mixed antipasto of cured meats and cheeses, and shared a 1200g Florentine steak, with a side of baked potatoes and a red wine. To finish, biscotti with vin santo and the inevitable coffee. The owner was kind enough to offer us coffee and table service. Highly recommended, the only downside is that it's 400km from where I live. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop by!

06/01/2026: We had lunch and had a wonderful time! The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the food was truly excellent! We had legume soup and tortelli with ragù, both excellent. To top it off, a dessert made everything even more perfect. A truly wonderful experience.

16/01/2026: We stopped with my family for lunch, the restaurant it is just in front of the parking lot, really handy! We tried pici with cacio e pepe, tagliatelli with wild boar ragú and carbonara! Everything was amazing and the german waitress was really kind and welcoming!

09/01/2026: This restaurant is recommended by our Context Travel guide, who's a local in Florence. The meal we had at Trattoria Da Ginone 1949 is one of the better meals in our 9 day stay in Italy. The food is simply delicious, not fancy but still visually appealing. The service is warm and professional. The price is reasonable. I'm seeing a mix of tourists and locals dining there.

18/01/2026: We journeyed two hours from Assisi to reach this hidden gem, and the experience was worth every kilometer. Pitgliano, the town itself, is an absolute spell rising from the rock. And the food here? Pure art on a plate. The kitchen at Trattoria Il Grillo treats food as storytelling. The Cinta Senese, a traditional Tuscan specialty, prepared in a pistachio crust with fig sauce and caramelized spring onions, was an unexpected symphony of texture and taste, both rustic and refined. The tortelli with ricotta and spinach in meat sauce was a masterclass in comfort. And then there was another pasta, its name escapes me, with crispy cabbage, the kind of dish that makes you slow down to savor every bite. Even the house wine was a delight and perfectly matched to the meal. Just for having a meal here, it’s worth the drive. We’ll certainly be back to explore more of the menu.

31/12/2025: The food is excellent. All the dishes were appreciated. In particular, the pumpkin cappellacci (off the menu) were superb. It's a shame we couldn't enjoy dinner because we were on the veranda and it was cold, despite the blankets and heaters. When I booked, they had informed me that there was only one place left on the veranda and that it was heated. So I accepted, thinking it would be manageable. However, we had to finish dinner with our jackets on, as did the other people on the veranda. When we mentioned the inconvenience at the end, the owner downplayed it. What a shame!
