17/06/2025: A dive into the most authentic Tuscan cuisine, with some surprising touches. We started with an excellent selection of cured meats accompanied by a delicious cream of livers with candied orange: perfect balance between intensity and freshness. Followed by a pappa al pomodoro made as it should be: tasty, rustic, comforting. Then the dish of the heart: the gnudi, simply exceptional, creamy inside and well seasoned. The tagliatelle with cheek ragù were rich, soft and enveloping. The mixed grill was also good, tasty and well cooked. To finish, a soft and genuine apple pie, as if made at home. Friendly service, warm atmosphere. We will gladly return. The only flaw, parking is not very easy, but there is little that can be done

14/06/2025: Beautiful location, especially outside a fabulous environment on these hot evenings. Excellent price-quality ratio. Super crostini as well as the tagliata. Very kind and always available staff. I highly recommend it

09/06/2025: Loved the house wine, lasagna and the owner! He gives free limoncello shots and is very sweet. I did not like the cacio e pepe. It tasted not traditional and veered into a more creamy tasting sauce. The Tuscan beans also lacked flavor. A table near us got the steak and it looked amazing. They do not take reservations and we were able to walk in without a wait.

24/05/2025: The best restaurant in Florence! The service and food was amazing, highly recommend. Nico and another server (didn’t get his name but he’s getting married on Tuesday) were amazing and made the experience great. Definitely get the gnocchi, steak and cheesecake!

06/06/2025: Food was incredible but didn’t love the outdoor seating vibe. It was like across a small street in a back alley from the restaurant. Service was fine, nothing amazing. Seemed like they weren’t super into helping us even though we had a reservation. Food was fire tho.

09/06/2025: Coccolino is a sure thing! Excellent meat, a very interesting wine list with very honest prices. Discovered a few months ago, it is already my favorite restaurant. The staff is kind and welcoming, the tables are well spaced from each other, the owner has the charm of an innkeeper from another time, attentive to every request. If you are in the area and you want meat, this is the right place!!! And the bill is always reasonable! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

07/06/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at the Coccolino restaurant in Cecina during our trip to Tuscany, and we can say without hesitation that it was one of the best gastronomic experiences we have ever had! The meat was simply exceptional - tender, tasty, cooked to perfection ... truly the best we have ever eaten! A special thanks goes to Danny, the waiter who looked after us throughout the evening: professional, kind and with always spot-on advice. He recommended specialties from the menu with passion and expertise, making the experience even more enjoyable and authentic. A place that we highly recommend to anyone who wants to taste the best of Tuscan cuisine in a welcoming and well-kept atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

03/06/2025: The food is really fresh and everything just so delight even the environment got old money still that you can see this is the place quiet authentic! If you are at area this is the place you really have to go

31/05/2025: Simple, rustic charm. Full of lots of local families, always a good sign. The tomato pasta was simply the best pasta dish we have ever tasted anywhere in Italy - looked and tasted too good that we forgot to photograph before tucking in! The food looks so simple but the quality and flavour is excellent. REALLY good value too - because it's a bit outside of the main area and on the South side of the river which is generally better quality and value anyway as it's less touristy. Must book in advance. Well worth the effort - 20 min stroll from river.

20/05/2025: Excellent Tuscan food and fine wines (especially Chianti, of course). Many regional specialties, including fresh truffles. Excellent and friendly service (in English upon request) explains the menu in a friendly manner, ensuring the best pairings without any hint of arrogance. A fitting highlight for a visit or vacation in the region!

17/05/2025: Stavamo cercando da un po’ di giorni un’osteria in zona Chianti che potesse racchiudere buon cibo ed atmosfera e devo dire che la cena ha rispecchiato appieno la ricerca. Buon cibo con piatti tipici e produzioni artigianali ma quello che da uno sprint in più è stato tutto lo staff. Sempre simpatici, disponibili rendendo la serata divertente e conviviale.

14/06/2025: Christian was great and the food was wonderful! I got the stuffed rabbit at Christian’s recommendation and it did not disappoint. My husband’s T-bone steak (florentine style) was also great. Great service and ambience. Would definitely come back here!
