28/05/2025: Ci siamo stati ieri sera per una cena di classe con menù fisso. Il posto è molto carino e si presta bene a queste situazioni, il cibo non posso dire che non fosse buono ma era decisamente scarso e il palese guadagno che ci hanno fatto vergognoso! L'antipasto una fettina a testa di formaggio, una punta di stracchino e qualche fetta di affettati (come sempre più salame e finocchiona che prosciutto) qualche coccolo un po' duretto e dei crostini, il primo, che doveva essere la portata principale, è stato di 5 (e non dico per dire) paccheri al ragù e 2 tortelloni al pomodoro...ho pensato che sarebbero ripassati se qualcuno voleva il bis ed invece è finita lì. Il dolce era una bella fetta di un buon millefoglie...forse perché l'avanzo si sarebbe sciupato. Si sa che in queste situazioni se ne approfittano ma € 35,00 a testa è decisamente troppo per il poco cibo che è stato servito!!!

27/05/2025: I don't understand the very good reviews. The evening was rather disappointing. The appetizers were lightly seasoned. The main course was somewhat better. But we wouldn't return.

09/05/2025: Absolutely delicious!!! We had such a wonderful experience dining at Ritrovino. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly, helpful. The food was truly the highlight, authentic Tuscan dishes that felt both traditional and creative. We especially loved the lampredotto alla puttanesca and the cacciucchino di lampredotto. Every bite was rich, hearty, and clearly made with care. The antipasti were a perfect way to start, and the desserts were a sweet surprise to end our meal. If you’re in the Montelupo/Empoli area, don’t miss Ritrovino. It’s a true gem!

03/06/2025: E la terza volta che ci fermiamo a mangiare quando è l’ora di pranzo e siamo in viaggio,ottimo cibo ,personale molto gentile i prezzi sono nella media,lo consiglio vicinissimo all’uscita dell autostrada.

08/06/2025: We had lunch outside on a beautiful terrace perfect for the period, nice and breezy and with a beautiful view immersed in the greenery, excellent service and very good and abundant dishes, Tuscan cuisine, highly recommended.

31/05/2025: What can I say? The quality of the food is really excellent: the meat or "ciccia", as we call it, is delicious and has an absolutely fair price. As soon as we entered we were welcomed like long-time friends, even though it was my first time there. The waitress Maggie was very nice and very kind, just like all the rest of the staff. A truly pleasant experience!

31/05/2025: Ottima serata tra amici che si raccontano barzellette e ricordi e degustando le pietanze di questo localino. Veniamo al sodo: i primi ( ne abbiamo presi un bis da dividere) sono belli sugosi ma non restano più di tanto nella testa. La bistecca ( vero must del locale) invece la si mangia con gusto e probabilmente si torna solo per quella. Tanta tanta roba. Vino della casa che non si ripresenta il giorno dopo e non è scontato. Tutto bene da provare e ritornare. Prezzo per essere in centro a Firenze neanche troppo caro.

17/06/2025: Typical Tuscan trattoria, I recommend eating outside because it is very characteristic. Very kind staff, good food, I recommend the tortelli maremmani and the cheeses with pepper jam which is very good, normal portions honest price.

17/06/2025: Ristoranti come questo ne ho visti ben pochi. Eravamo in 3, entrati nel ristorante ci accoglie il proprietario che ci trova subito un tavolo da due adattandolo a 3. Gli diciamo che va bene, sperando non dia fastidio ai camerieri e lui ci risponde "i clienti non danno mai fastidio!" Ordiniamo una zuppa alla volterrana e due tartare, buonissime. Procediamo con i primi, pasta fresca, uno al ragù di cinghiale e l'altro ragù di capriolo e cavolo nero. Anche in questo caso uno più buono dell'altro e porzioni abbondanti. Come secondo abbiamo voluto provare la tagliata di cinghiale marinato, che dire, paradisiaco! Tanto buono che abbiamo ordinato una seconda porzione e in aggiunta,per variare, cinghiale in umido! Abbiamo mangiato davvero bene, i camerieri precisi, il proprietario accogliente e simpatico che ti fa sentire a casa. Dal nostro tavolo potevamo vedere la cucina, tutti ragazzi giovani che lavorano sodo e in modo preciso,portando fuori piatti perfetti! Potessi averlo sotto casa ci andrei tutti i giorni. Rapporto qualità prezzo top, tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato con 2 bottiglie di acqua,mezzo litro della casa e 3 caffè, 40€ a testa. Grazie mille per l'esperienza!

16/06/2025: Siamo passati per cenare, il locale esteticamente è molto bello ed accogliente abbiamo mangiato molto bene ed anche le porzioni sono abbondanti. Il proprietario è molto simpatico e ti mette subito a tuo agio. Piatto top pici al ragù bianco! Se riusciamo ci torneremo sicuramente.
