03/01/2026: A quaint restaurant within the town walls. Fast and courteous service. Excellent food, from pappardelle with wild boar to fried lamb! Lemon sorbet and liqueur are on the house. Fair prices. Highly recommended! Reservations are required!

02/02/2026: A unique experience from start to finish, one of the best restaurants I've ever been to! Each dish is served with care and delicacy and often has that "wow" factor. Many of the dishes are a blend of tradition and innovation, and the ingredients are expertly measured. I can't believe Forbes named it one of the 100 Italian excellences for 2024! The price is fully in line with the offerings: I had an appetizer, first course, dessert, glass of wine, coffee, and water for a total of about €60. The portions aren't particularly generous, but you certainly won't leave hungry. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is located at the entrance to the historic center, but there are several parking lots nearby. The interior is very beautiful, also a blend of ancient and modern, but it could be improved, especially the bathrooms!

01/02/2026: My partner and I chose L'Altro Cantuccio for our last dinner in Montepulciano, and what we found far exceeded our expectations. After a day of food and wine, we just wanted one last taste before saying goodbye to the city, and we casually decided to book a table at this restaurant (admittedly, not having read the reviews, we were worried we'd stumble upon a tourist trap). As soon as we entered, we immediately noticed the decor, the attention to detail, and the relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere. We were greeted by a young man who was undoubtedly knowledgeable and knew his stuff. He kindly escorted us to our table, and here too, a careful eye couldn't help but notice the thoughtful choice of minimalist yet striking decor. Unfortunately, we were already very full, and this left us with a bitter taste in our mouths—the kind of taste that comes from wanting to try every single dish on the menu. Every dish we saw coming out of the kitchen brought a smile of amazement to our faces and left our mouths watering. Each course was beautifully explained, and during the dinner, between "surprise" dishes and unexpected treats, the time flew by. We love to eat, we love to experiment, and this restaurant is every bit as good as the many Michelin-starred restaurants we've visited in the past. We left wanting to visit again as soon as possible! Congratulations!

03/11/2025: Typical Tuscan cuisine, excellent from appetizers to desserts. The coffee is good, and even the bitter liqueur that bears their name is delicious and has a lovely herbal flavor. The view is also beautiful.

09/01/2026: A very nice, family-run place. They were super kind, delivered the food quickly, and even gave me a €7 discount on €32, which is quite a lot. What can I say? Highly recommended if you're passing through San Casciano.

Nestled in the forest, the place was enchanting and the food excellent... we're used to eating well and can't always find good food cooked to our liking, but here everything was delicious, from appetizer to dessert. 19/01/2026: After reading the reviews, we decided to try this restaurant, and it turned out to be a great choice. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and their recommendations were truly invaluable. The tortelli are exceptional: freshly made with top-quality ingredients. The appetizers and desserts are also excellent. The flavors took me back to when my grandmother used to cook and make me Maremma tortelli, a truly special memory. The restaurant is spacious and recalls the style of an old trattoria, very beautiful and welcoming. There's also a large outdoor area that I imagine would be wonderful to enjoy during the summer. Very fair prices and impeccable service. I'll definitely be back.

28/01/2026: I now have a favorite restaurant in Florence. It's a true gem, located near the Uffizi and the Old Bridge. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. On our first day, we stopped in for a cocktail and pizza; we were tired after the journey, and the pizza was the best of all the many pizzas I've eaten in Italy (and there were many). The next day, we stopped in for lunch – the pasta and shrimp ravioli were excellent. Luigi and Katya, the wonderful owners of this restaurant, were very kind and helped us choose both drinks and dishes. And for dessert, they offered us their signature tiramisu – and it was fantastic. Don't miss this wonderful place. This is the kind of Italy you'll remember for a long time.

I am vegetarian and, although I was in an organized group and I had not announced this in advance, the staff was very kind and prepared a special menu for me. In addition, there are two very nice dogs, Bruno and Alice, who make the atmosphere even more pleasant. I really appreciated the attention and care towards the customer. I highly recommend!

04/02/2026: Our first Fiorentina of 1.5kg for two, wrapped in hay, accompanied with a good Morellino, spinach and chard as a side dish, dessert - grandma's cake, but not the one you are used to eating, not the classic shortcrust pastry base, Siena bitters to degrease everything, an excellent experience.

07/12/2025: Every time I return to Florence, this stop is a must, and I swear by the lovingly prepared and served delicacies, prepared and presented by the very friendly and kind owner, Mr. Luciano. The service is impeccable, and the meat is of the highest quality—the best Florentine steak in the area—is complemented by exceptional traditional Tuscan dishes washed down with excellent wines. And, as if that weren't enough, the welcoming and intimate restaurant is located right in the center, just steps from Florence's artistic treasures. Highly recommended.

01/01/2026: We order stewed wild boar which is so good. A local food that must try when you in Chianti region. Also recommen the chicken, hen tigh stuffed with mushroom. For mushroom lover, this menu is really recommend Since we came in the winter, we also order pumpkin soup with maroni. A lovely Umami and sweet mix together. Better make a reservation since the restaurant is always full due to great ambience, Warm service and good foods
