13/06/2026: Food was excellent, 5 stars; best meal we had. Our waiter was very nice. Sadly, the owners are rude, since we came in nobody said hello or welcomed us into the restaurant. When we wanted to pay we had to stand up to tell them we wanted to pay and they were rude. Food is amazing and worth it I just wish the owners had some respect for their customers.

03/07/2026: A bitter disappointment! We have been regular guests at the Hosteria del Ceccottino restaurant for over 15 years. The service and ambiance were, as always, very satisfactory. However, this time the food was a bitter disappointment: the pappardelle and tortelli tasted extremely bland and dry. While the tagliata was of high quality, at €55 for 500g it is now definitely at the upper end of the price range. The buglione d'agnello was also palatable, but the price-performance ratio is definitely no longer acceptable. For €28, we were served – along with about six fried potato slices – only about eight mouth-sized pieces of bone, from which a few small pieces of meat could be separated with great difficulty and patience. To visually inflate the volume, a simple slice of bread was placed under the supposed meat. We expressed our dissatisfaction to the staff, but apart from a perfunctory apology, our complaint was not addressed further, not even by the owners. It's a shame; we expect a different approach to guest complaints from a restaurant of this caliber. As a result, we, as long-time loyal customers, will be looking for another fine-dining restaurant in Pitigliano in the future.

What really made the difference was the service: the owner and staff are incredibly kind, approachable, and attentive to every detail, something rare these days. We ate really well; they serve quality meat, and the menu offers a wide variety. We'll definitely be back, highly recommended!

16/05/2026: We recently visited this restaurant and had a wonderful time. The place is small (reservations are recommended), but welcoming, thanks in large part to the warmth of the owner and staff. The service was attentive, efficient, and fast. The food was excellent. There were five of us, and we ordered a platter of mixed cured meats and a fillet of lamb as an appetizer. It's fair to say we were already full and satisfied! We tried the main courses, accompanied by mixed vegetables, and they were all delicious. The bombette deserve a special mention for their deliciousness! But all the meat we tried was well-cooked and tender. Last but not least, a delicious, well-balanced, and incredibly light berry millefeuille! We've already recommended this place to friends. We'll definitely be back!

01/07/2026: We visited Buca di Sant'Antonio tonight and wow what an experience. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by sweet and welcoming waiters who served bubbles and small appetizers. We ordered Carpacio with truffle and parmigiano and Crostino, ragu and raviolo and finally tiramisu. We have never tasted such good food. Sweet, fun and attentive waiters and reasonable prices. Best money we have ever spent. Thank you very much. We will be back very soon ❤️

06/07/2026: FOR THE RECORD: Do not read reviews before February, 2026, as this restaurant has new owners since this date. By far the best place I ate in Florence! Owners are wonderful people, and the food and service was excellent! I liked it so much, I hugged both of them before I left. I wish this place much success!!

03/05/2026: What can I say... Grillo Moro is one of those rare places where you immediately feel at ease as soon as you enter. We were in the area for a short vacation, and we had dinner and lunch at this wonderful place. From the courteous, friendly, and professional staff who guided us through our selection of dishes, to the fantastic dishes, to the quiet and meticulously maintained, yet comfortable, location surrounded by greenery... without a doubt, you must try it and return! As we will every time we're in the area. Thank you!

30/04/2026: A proper Tuscan countryside restaurant: no frills, no tourist traps. The bistecca is the main event, and it delivers. Handmade pasta is solid too. Warm, family-run atmosphere that feels genuinely local. Worth the drive from Siena.

09/06/2026: Fantastic Florentine Steak ! Super tender, juicy and smoky. The meat has exceptional quality that just melts in your mouth ! Every bite felt like paradise !!

06/06/2026: It's like eating with your whole extended family in your grandmother's house if she lived in Tuscany. With that it's a communal dining experience like no other. And now about the food, it's some of the best food you'll ever eat. Best flavors you'll ever experience and your palate will never taste any of anything like this again. Single-Handedly the biggest steak I've ever seen and the best steak I've ever eaten in my entire lifetime. The steak is the size of the old 96er from the movie The Great Outdoors. Pastas were all amazing first courses, Second course and appetizers are out of this world . Flavor combos I've never seen before. It opened at 7:30 and it was entirely booked up. So if you don't make reservations early you won't be able to get in. If you're visiting montafluciano or anywhere nearby, you owe it to yourself to try this restaurant. And last but not least, let's talk about the prices as an American. I've been to worst steakhouses and paid twice as much the prices are the some of the best you can get at a restaurant of that quality. The pictures I have attached. Don't do it. Justice in both pictures. I started eating before I took a picture so both dishes are actually bigger than the pic I was so blown away. I completely forgot about getting a picture before eating. It smelled just that good.

21/05/2026: The best restaurant in the neighborhood! We arrived without a reservation. Our first reaction was “there is no room left,” but on second thought, and when the maître d' saw that we spoke Italian, the door opened. What an experience. Authentic traditional local cuisine. Full house every single day. We will definitely be back. Very friendly staff.

13/05/2026: I went there with work colleagues. Great prices and divine traditional local dishes. The atmosphere is a bit noisy.
