05/01/2026: An excellent experience if you're looking for a great meat restaurant near Lucca, specifically in Altobascio. Delicious Florentine steak, a welcoming atmosphere, and very friendly staff. Parking is nearby; we arrived in a camper and had no problems.

31/12/2025: We arrived almost by chance, better than waking up in the early hours of the morning. A very intimate and well-maintained place, with fast service and excellent quality.

01/01/2026: A restaurant that successfully combines authenticity, quality, and a truly family-friendly atmosphere, the likes of which are increasingly rare today. The menu is a tribute to true Maremma cuisine: flavorful, well-crafted dishes, without unnecessary modern constraints. The homemade first courses are excellent, from Maremma tortelli to pici with game ragù, always rich and flavorful. The meat-based second courses, especially the wild boar, are cooked to perfection and reflect the region in every bite. The side dishes and desserts are also excellent, simple but made to perfection. The real added value, however, is the welcome: family-run, the service is friendly, genuine, and never rushed. You feel like a guest, not a customer. The quality-price ratio is absolutely right, especially considering the portions and the quality of the ingredients. A sincere, no-frills restaurant that keeps tradition alive and makes you want to return. Highly recommended for those seeking the authentic Maremma, both in the food and in the atmosphere.

30/11/2025: We hadn't booked for lunch, but we still found a spot. A gem in the center of Anghiari. Delicious, high-quality food, from appetizers to coffee, at an incredibly fair price. We'll definitely be back!

11/10/2025: I had a wonderful time. The very kind waiter welcomed us and immediately brought us water, followed by a basket of fresh, warm bread. The appetizers were good; we had crostini with liver and caramelized onion and crostini with pecorino cheese and truffle. For the second course, a very good beef tartare with sautéed porcini mushrooms, truly delicious and tasty, and a fantastic tagliolini with truffle, equally tasty.

09/01/2026: For at least 15 years, I've been returning to Bolgheri almost every year to eat at Enoteca Tognoni, and every time it's a wonderful experience. The food is always excellent, and the impeccable service makes the visit even more enjoyable. The value is also excellent. Of all the dishes, I highly recommend the pappardelle with wild boar: they are simply delicious. This restaurant is, without a doubt, my favorite place.

07/01/2026: Beautifully decorated and characteristic restaurant.... Typically Tuscan. Excellent service, traditional dishes are well-presented and of excellent quality. Service is prompt and courteous. Excellent food that respects classic flavors, with special mention for the main courses featuring excellent meats.

04/01/2026: We had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant. Simply put, the atmosphere, service, and above all, the food were all excellent 👏🏻 We started with vegetable flans with Parmesan fondue and chopped hazelnuts, and tartare with truffles and porcini mushrooms. The tartare was okay, with quality meat. The flan was tasty, but I wouldn't order it again – I think there were better options at this price. The second plate included steak slices with green sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, and Pecorino flakes, and beef tenderloin with porcini mushrooms and truffles – a definite 5/5. The sweet finale was a salted caramel cheesecake and chocolate pistachio fondant. Again – two YES! 🤤 We had white wine with dinner, and at the end we indulged in coffee and a glass of "digestivo." The total cost was around €100. The place is worth the price. We'll definitely be back again this year. Greetings from Poland, Robi! See you soon!

02/01/2026: Excellent restaurant, all the staff were very friendly. The food was excellent; I've never had such a good, tender Florentine steak, cooked to perfection. And the fried artichokes were delicious, just like the other appetizers. After coffee, they even offered a mini panna cotta. I'd go back any day.

05/12/2025: We went here for dinner on the recommendation of a colleague. We were completely impressed with all the dishes we chose, the service, and the style of the restaurant. In addition, the fact that many famous people have dined here gives another special impression.

04/01/2026: Evening with friends. A very warm and welcoming rustic location. Friendly staff. They welcomed us with bruschetta with wild tomatoes. We ordered/ate: very good appetizers (farmer's cheese, pickles, olives, cold cuts, cheeses, flan and panzanella/fried coccoli) and a truly fragrant, flavorful, and well-topped pizza. All accompanied by beer (carafe/artisanal bottles), water, coffee, limoncello/amaro, also offered by the staff. A truly wonderful discovery. Excellent value. We will definitely be back to try the main courses. Reservations recommended.

22/12/2025: The location is really lovely and charming. I only had takeout pizza, which was good and had a wide variety of ingredients. The staff, all of them, were kind and helpful. I made a reservation, and they were very punctual and attentive.

01/01/2026: In San Sepolcro, on the first day of the new year, we booked a table at this place I hadn't heard of... What a lovely surprise... The atmosphere is elegant and vintage, welcoming and attentive... The table service is friendly and professional. The food: burratina, Val Tiburtina prosciutto and ciaccie, bringoli cacio e pepe from the Val Tiberina, and cornflower agnolotti with burrata and ricotta... amazing... all washed down with a good house Sangiovese. And then comes the dessert trolley... what a delight... Zuppa inglese and cheesecake with berries... Affordable and not overpriced prices. A place suitable for all ages, including families. Compliments to all the staff, an all-female management team that is very attentive to their customers. If you're in San Sepolcro on vacation or just passing through, this place is worth a stop. Definitely worth returning to.

28/12/2025: I just had dinner at the Fiorentino restaurant. The place is old and very beautiful, but poorly maintained. There's a bit of a mess that needs fixing. The dinner was excellent, from the appetizers to the main courses. This place would be top-notch with just a little effort!

The property's location is simply magnificent, just half an hour from Siena and the same distance from Arezzo. The place is enchanting, elegantly furnished with care and attention to detail. The rooms are splendid, with very comfortable beds, mattresses, and pillows, and the bathrooms are impeccable. Breakfast is served in a fairytale setting and offers a wide selection of flavors, including fresh juices, coffee, tea, sweet and savory pastries, croissants, and much more. Signora Lisa's kindness and helpfulness make every guest feel like part of the family. Thank you so much: our experience was truly wonderful. We can't wait to return!
