20/09/2025: A restaurant nestled in the hills near Montecatini Terme, with a beautiful view (recommended at sunset). To get there, it's best to take your time along the road, as it's quite narrow. In September, I found a good number of tables full (mostly locals), so the waiters were a bit sloppy but still helpful. The selection is varied and focused on meats, including Florentine steak and sirloin. Among the dishes I tried on my way here: mixed bruschetta, Alpine-style sirloin, and cantucci with Vin Santo. I really enjoyed the sirloin, as it was perfectly cooked, and the porcini mushrooms on top (photo) had a tender texture and intense flavor. I recommend it for a quality dinner, even for special occasions.

10/10/2025: Good heavens, I had a delicious meal here. It's a case of walking down an alley and finding truly delicious food. The staff was patient and kind enough to listen to my Louis van Gaal Italian, and the atmosphere was welcoming, like in your Italian Nonna's basement. This is one of those restaurants that makes you go to Italy. Tip: eat ravioli, and more ravioli. 5 stars for a full belly.

20/09/2025: The restaurant is very unassuming from the outside, but a big surprise inside! The two of us went there without a reservation and were warmly welcomed. A special table was set aside because everything was reserved. We started with bruschetta and bread, and it was delicious! We received friendly service and ordered bruschetta, two salads, two main courses (pizza & pasta), and two desserts! With two Cokes, two large waters, and two glasses of wine, we thought we'd get a large bill, but we were surprised, as we paid a good price for the €2 per person. The whole combination of old-fashioned and rustic with delicious food was perfect and was a real highlight! If you're in the area, come see for yourself; you won't regret it!

23/09/2025: Beautiful place. Attention to detail. Exquisite food. Original dishes. I forgot to photograph some dishes because I was too busy enjoying them. As soon as we sat down, they brought us their olive oil to taste. I think this welcome is truly wonderful. The appetizer was generous with truly top-notch cured meats. The sliced ​​meat was tender and flavorful. The lemon dessert was very good and well-balanced in flavor. The service was fast and the staff very professional. The house wine also paired well with the dishes.

16/10/2025: A bit expensive. Small portions, generally speaking, aren't very generous. If you order meats like Fiorentina or other steaks, they come without any sides, and then you pay €6-7 each for the side dishes, but they're tiny pebbles of beans, onions, herbs, or potatoes. I'd suggest either including at least one per person or setting them at no more than €4. Otherwise, you'll spend almost €30 for the side dishes alone, or you can order them much larger because the portions are too small. Inattentive and slow service.

15/09/2025: Excellent food and attentive service! Very nice patio. The only thing that could be improved is the washroom, as there is only one and it's quite old.

22/10/2025: If you want to immerse yourself in a Tuscan bath, this is the place for you. It's the best wine bar I've ever seen. Authentic Tuscan cuisine and a huge wine selection. Reservations are almost always necessary.

20/10/2025: We came here on a recommendation, and it was worth it. The terrace outside was very pleasant and quiet. The restaurant was rather noisy. The service was very attentive and friendly. We had regional wine with our meal, which was excellent. Highly recommended. An absolute must if you're in the area.

24/09/2025: We've already traveled a bit in Tuscany, and Trattoria Albana is truly an insider tip. The food was fantastic, and the service was fast and very friendly. We shared the pici with cheese and pepper sauce and the veal ragout, and both were perfect. The ragout, in particular, was as tender as butter and practically fell apart just by looking at it 🤤 We were very full, and the really reasonable price rounded off the evening perfectly. According to the waiter, almost all of the ingredients are grown in the restaurant's garden! It doesn't get much better than that!

04/10/2025: Our reservation was “ screwed up” and the staff fixed it as quickly as they could. Free prosecco and crisps while we waited. The steak meals were delicious, the stuffed rabbit was amazing. Great wine suggestions. This restaurant is a “ must eat at” place.

04/10/2025: We had spaghetti carbonara and drank the house wine with it. Absolutely delicious! Sometimes it's the simple things that taste the best. And you're right in the middle of things, yet a bit removed from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommended.

07/10/2025: What's the deal...? The photos turned out great. I made a reservation, so I went right in without waiting. The data connection is low, so search for the menu before you go in~ The meat was really tender. I ordered a bottle of house wine. The wine I bought at the supermarket was delicious. ^^

07/10/2025: I made a reservation through Instagram DM. They said T-bones start at 1.3 kilos, so we both ordered a 1 kilo of the L-bone. The steak was absolutely delicious. I can't stop thinking about it. And the fries were absolutely delicious. A half-liter of house wine was perfect for two. This was the most memorable restaurant of my trip.

19/10/2025: We arrived at "Da Guido" on the recommendation of a Milanese friend who was in Magliano on one of his vacations. As soon as we arrived, we felt super comfortable; it was like walking into our grandparents' house. If I had a picture of comfort in the dictionary, it would be the dining room at "Da Guido." The service was even more welcoming; Mr. Fabio took care of the entire table. As we would say in Argentina, "the guy is a genius." He was patient with us and answered all our questions about the different dishes, which were new to us (we had never tried Pappardelle al Cinghiale). Moving on to the food... one was better than the other. In our ignorance, we never imagined that bread with olive oil would have so much flavor or that a Pecorino cheese could melt in your mouth like that. 06/07/2025: Ottima scelta per immergersi nella cucina maremmana autentica. Servizio impeccabile e pietanze (tutte) all'altezza delle precedenti recensioni. Non si può fare a meno di fare il giro degli antipasti, senza dimenticare la tartare. Buona la scelta di vini proposta. Conto "onesto", da ritornarci"....magari in una serata meno afosa! L'affascinante Magliano in Toscana, con il suo giro delle mura, sono una degna cornice all'esperienza.
