07/03/2026: Buca Poldo. I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The place is downstairs, the atmosphere is very quiet, and the waiters are friendly and make you feel at home. The quality of the meat is excellent. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. When I return to Florence, I will definitely return.

17/02/2026: A quaint little place where we ate delicious garlic pici and Certaldo's signature onion soup. Definitely recommended for a break in the village!

15/02/2026: Today we went to Certaldo for a short visit. We had lunch at this Osteria, a pleasant discovery. We were warmly welcomed by the kind and very friendly staff, and the food was truly delicious. Superb ribollita (as a Lucca native would say), seasoned with delicious olive oil and accompanied by excellent red wine (they have a top-notch cellar and unique beers). We continued with a mixed platter... what cured meats... a treat for the palate, even the cheeses with jams, divine. We'll definitely be back; in the meantime, I highly recommend it.

12/10/2025: Welcoming and well-organized location. On a sunny day like the one we just had, it's a worthwhile place, nestled in a totally relaxing square. The service was helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The food was excellent! We each ordered various dishes, which we then sampled... Really good!!! Portions were decent. The price tends to be high for the simplicity of the dish itself... But it's still worth it. The Florentine steak was wonderful!!! You can't miss it. I recommend it! Excellent place

19/03/2026: After three years, the quality of the meat has remained the same (excellent). It remains a must-see on my trips to wonderful Tuscany. The millefeuille dessert is out of this world.

15/02/2026: Yesterday I had the pleasure of dining at Il Grillo Moro for Valentine's Day, and it was truly an excellent experience in every way. The staff immediately proved to be extremely friendly, attentive, and professional, making every guest feel welcomed with great care. The food was simply excellent: dishes prepared with quality ingredients, beautifully presented, and rich in flavor. A special mention goes to the tortelli al peposo, offered off-menu, which were simply out of this world. The restaurant is well-kept, elegant, and very welcoming, perfect for both a quiet dinner and special occasions. A restaurant that undoubtedly deserves its 5 stars: I will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience.

01/03/2026: A true gem in Pomarance: La Dispensa del Palagetto was an extraordinary discovery! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great warmth and professionalism by the wait staff: smiling, attentive, and capable of making us feel immediately at home. Such a genuine welcome truly makes the difference and contributes to making the experience even more enjoyable. The cuisine is simply excellent, with top-quality ingredients and evident attention to every detail. Everything is delicious, from the initial appetizer of wild carrot puree and crusty bread—delicate yet full of character—to the duck-filled plin, simply out of this world: flavorful, balanced, and perfectly executed. Not to mention the low-temperature cooked belly, so tender it literally melts in your mouth, served with cavolo nero in a harmonious and enveloping combination. The fillet with porcini mushroom cap was also top-notch. The mushrooms were beautifully firm and the meat was perfectly cooked. Finally, an excellent raspberry tartlet. Coffee served with a delicious biscuit with homemade jam. The wine list is also excellent. A taste experience that left us completely satisfied. A restaurant that is absolutely worth the price, for its quality, experience, and customer service. Our compliments, we will be happy to return!

07/02/2026: I visited this restaurant last night with some friends and had a very positive experience. The place is charming and welcoming, with a pleasant atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy the evening. The staff was extremely kind and helpful: they patiently explained some dishes we weren't familiar with, making us feel at ease. The service was well-managed, with just the right amount of pacing: neither too fast nor too slow. The food was all very good, with a quality that was clearly evident in the flavors and ingredients. The only small area that could be improved was the cleanliness of some details: there was a lot of dust on items hanging on the walls and on some of the surfaces. Nothing serious, but with more attention to this area, the place would be truly impeccable. Otherwise, a very pleasant experience. Excellent location, in the center of Prato near the Duomo. Recommended.
