27/08/2024: We ate at Da Badò accompanied by our Tuscan friends with whom we visited the village of Volterra. Typical and traditional dishes. Excellent raw materials. Some questionable choices but overall we ate some really excellent dishes. The quality, quantity and price ratio is also excellent.

19/08/2024: A place where you feel at home. Not at all a gastrobar where there is sophisticated dishes, but top quality food. The wonderful cook and her very nice son. I have to go back.

26/08/2024: A small Italian restaurant in one of the side streets serving mainly local cuisine. A nice place to have dinner with friends. Personally, I can recommend Tuscan tripe. The pleasant taste of soft tripe enriched with tomato sauce. A simple dish, yet captivating by its simplicity. And although the portion does not look large, it is a completely filling dish.

24/08/2024: Good food! Excessive prices mainly for cocktails, plus it charges for tonic and soda water. Good atmosphere!

19/08/2024: We ate lunch here as a family of four and it was one of the best meals we’ve had in Tuscany. The staff were very good, helpful and spoke amazing English (we are embarrassed that we need this but sadly we do!). Slightly different dishes than the norm, beautiful pasta - the lasagnetta was a highlight. Will definitely return.

24/08/2024: Very large place with hundreds of seats and lots of people. Quick service and top-notch staff, extensive menu and fair prices. Perhaps the desserts are a little too expensive for the quantity served.

21/08/2024: Very nice environment, really good staff, organized and approachable. Very good dishes and excellent meat; a beautiful wine list with a wide choice. Discovered this place thanks to a friend... we will definitely be back!

19/08/2024: The truffle pasta is very good, the service is fast and courteous. But please, put on air conditioning or at least a fan, you can't breathe in here in August.

12/08/2024: I walked in wanting something quick and affordable for lunch, and came out totally impressed. I had the gnocchi with cheese, pepper, pear and nuts, and a very elegant glass of red wine recommended by the waiter.

17/08/2024: Beautiful restaurant, friendly and helpful staff and excellent food for an average price. I would like to add that the evening I was at the restaurant there were 4 guys at a table behind ours. They left a very negative review and for which I have to totally agree with the owner as the negative behavior was certainly not his. I want to leave this comment because I know how negative reviews can damage the reputation of a place and in this case it would be a shame

15/08/2024: Horrible service. We went there around 8pm. It was not full. We got out at 11pm. We waited approx 30 min in order to get a service and again approx 30 min between everydish. Again, it was not full but we are sure that they are understaffed. At one point they started to clean the tables and we had to remind them that we are still waiting. Food was ok but we did not enjoy it bc of the situation. Plus we paid service fee etc and it was expensive. There are way better and way polite places to eat in Italy.

06/08/2024: I went to this restaurant on 05/08, highly recommended, very particular place, fantastic and welcoming staff, they make you feel like you are family. Delicious food and excellent value for money. I was very surprised by the garlic on the "I'll take care of it" cutting board with a particular taste, very sweet and not heavy.

06/08/2024: Good morning, This restaurant is very unusual in terms of decoration. The atmosphere is truly incredible. The food is fantastic. The tenderloin with truffle sauce was succulent. We really enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely return during our stay. Very good time spent with family of 6 people!!! We recommend without problem. Cedrine

10/08/2024: Instead of the classic Camogli in Autogrill, a stop outside the toll booth (even if "outside" is excessive, given that it is 0.1 km from the toll booth). Good quality meat, served by the pound. The only flaw is that the meat menu showed the steak (with fillet and sirloin), while only the rib-eye (without fillet) arrived at the table. A 1.2kg steak for two with side vegetables, 55 Euros per person.

07/08/2024: ottima cena in compagnia. porzioni piu' che abbondanti tanto è vero che in 10 è avanzato diverso cibo che qualcuno di noi ha portato anche a casa per non sprecarlo. non dò il massimo perchè ho ordinato 2 bottiglie di vino e due volte hannno sbagliato, anche se la seconda volta ci è capitato un vino veramente buono.

27/07/2024: Totally amazing! Can highly recommend this gem. The environment is wonderful and the anti pasto and the spaghetti was so tasty!

15/08/2024: Locale con arredamento molto carino rivolto allo slow food conviviale. Menù accattivante e carta dei vini maestosa. Bruschette,pici, carne davverodi qualità e gustosi. Chianti nel tipico fiasco al sapore di Toscana. Tiramisù sfizioso. Prima volta ma non di certo ultima. Prezzo allineato con la qualità e la cura della preparazione dei prodotti.

15/08/2024: Pranzato con moglie e cognata oggi 15 agosto. Location semplice e confortevole, personale gentile e simpatico, i piatti sono veramente squisiti, di qualità ed anche abbondanti... Cucina veramente raffinata con ampia scelta di prelibatezze liguri ma anche toscane. Rapporto qualità/prezzo buono. Buono il Merlot della casa ma anche varia scelta di vini doc. Dolci speciali... Ci torneremo senz'altro in altre occasioni perché pienamente soddisfatti in tutti i sensi...

24/08/2024: Attracted by the experience of dinner in the vineyard with a visit to the cellar, we traveled 40 km to find ourselves in this beautiful structure welcomed by excellent and very knowledgeable staff who told us the whole story behind the Cecchi family during the visit to the cellar and then let us sit in this convivial table in the middle of the vineyards and serving excellent food and even more excellent wine. A special thanks to the sommelier Jacopo who, with his kindness and preparation, made us have a special evening. Highly recommended experience with adequate prices.

21/08/2024: Unforgettable experience. We had a tasting of 3 wines with a platter and light lunch which I highly recommend. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, honest prices, wonderful location. The guided tour was quick and interesting, not boring at all. The girl who followed us throughout the process was very good and conveyed to us the goodness and commitment they put into their production.
