03/08/2024: For a change the owner's description is spot on. The Ferro is an tasteful restaurant without the folcloristic tourist Schnickschnack. The modern Sicilian cuisine is prepared with the highest professional care and high quality fresh foods. The result is an exquisite and casually elegant dining experience.

31/07/2024: After an aperitif (from the house) I had a blast with the food! Amazing sauces with fresh herbs and flavors. Definitely come back again. Go there and try the grilled pulpo with fennel and leek. Amazing! Really nice service, felt home. Thanks!

10/08/2024: Overall a pleasant experience. The only flaw is the small quantity of octopus in the appetizer. Attentive service. A piece of advice to the owner: learning a few words in English, even just the names of the ingredients, would help her a lot.

09/08/2024: We had such a lovely experience in Ristorante Sesto Canto in Palermo that we went back a second time during our three day stay in Palermo. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food - presentation, quality, value and taste - was superb. We met a Sicilian American couple who travel to Palermo every year and make a point of dining in this restaurant twice each time. They told us they had never been disappointed. We can't recommend it strongly enough.

28/08/2024: Ho portato la mia famiglia in questo ristorante dove ero già stata precedentemente. Cibo di qualità, ben presentato,ma soprattutto sapori particolari perfettamente combinati. Consiglio il mix Sushiliano di maki. Il piatto forte però è stato il pacchero pomodoro spuma di burrata e guanciale croccante davvero squisito. Il servizio è stato ottimo con personale gentile e professionale. Lo consiglio assolutamente.

06/08/2024: Restaurant with good value for money. However, we waited 50 min for the starter to arrive and another 50 min for the main course to arrive! Obviously, the table of 6, who arrived 30 minutes after us, was served immediately! They were local, we weren't! A shame ! We will never go there again! A real joke

12/08/2024: Fantastic welcome and preparation, the whole dinner can be part of a positive experience especially for the quality and care in the dishes eaten. We made a selection of appetizers and by listening to the suggestions we also balanced the choice of first and second courses, up to the desserts. The suggested wine also overcame our skepticism because it was perfect for our choices. To top it off I have to say that the foie gras was one of the best I've ever eaten. Thanks to all of you

Friendly and professional dining room staff; although there were 13 of us, coming from England, Azerbaijan and Turkey (therefore not easy for the staff to manage), they were super helpful and all of us were very satisfied with the choice made. Highly recommended

23/08/2024: Very pleasant experience. The quality of the food is truly remarkable, as is the location, pleasantly inserted in one of the small streets of Ortigia. It is in the restricted traffic zone, near the "duck" fountain, so allow for car parking, which is prohibited for non-residents. Reservations recommended especially for dinner. Prices appropriate to the context.

21/08/2024: The place is furnished with grandmother's furniture: wooden tables, doilies, centerpieces and very eye-catching vases, decorations, paintings... what can I say, wonderful! I felt like I was at my grandmother's house. The environment and the service were incredible: the staff was very friendly and the situation was dreamlike. The food was nothing short of exceptional, faultless, a joy for the palate and I'll tell you, even the house wine was a beauty. Let's say that I encountered the problems when I went to the bathroom: I came across my worst nightmare, the killer doll from my grandmother's house. Once this obstacle was overcome, the evening was a blast. I would go back again tomorrow (doll aside).

12/08/2024: Very good pizza, high prices so you expect everything to be impeccable. The place was really nice, I gave 3 stars to the environment because it is very small and also they put us at a table where there was a family with 2 children who shouted and banged cutlery on the table all the time...everyone was looking at them bad because they were really too annoying, but obviously it's the parents' fault because they didn't give a damn about their children without giving them attention or controlling them. We were practically stuck to them, we had the wheelchair at our table, the other room was empty, I would have preferred if the waiter had put us at another table in the other room, unfortunately we had already used the glasses otherwise I would ask to be moved . These are small precautions that in a place like this the staff must have towards the customer.

12/08/2024: Excellent cuisine and refined quality dishes. The owner is very kind, as is the maitre d' and waiters. convenient and panoramic location. Eaten Baked red mullet, Tuna with onion, Macaroni with Nebrodi ragù.
