22/03/2024: I stopped in this place to drink a glass of wine and eat some fish balls. The atmosphere is really nice, it's an informal and friendly environment. They also have tables outside on the porch. The menu is Sicilian, I took the meatballs and they were very good. I would like to go back to try something else

18/02/2024: I had lunch today as a couple and I found everything to be very pleasant. Cozy place and friendly staff. Sicilian cuisine, simple, substantial, but not at all heavy. We had two glasses of excellent Sicilian red wine, rosemary focaccia, squid with potatoes and orange flavored sausage with a side of vegetables. the bread is also excellent. To conclude we had a cannoli and a cassata that were very fresh and had a divine flavour. Cost normal. Worth keeping in mind for a Sunday lunch, a romantic dinner or a relaxing aperitif. I saw that they have a small summer garden. I will definitely return to try the first courses. From the outside it looked like a bar, but inside it's very nice. I advise.

06/04/2024: Trattoria where you can enjoy not only excellent food (sublime tuna ammutticatu) but also the atmosphere of places of the past. An obligatory stop if you are passing through Palermo.

31/03/2024: We arrived at this restaurant after consulting "osterie d'italia" and I must say that this time too they got it right. Friendly staff, they found us a table even though it was almost full. Good food and family atmosphere. Recommended 👍

31/03/2024: The vin de l'assasin is simply perfect. So good that there's no need to even comment on the food. Here, go there and try the risotto with Sicilian gazpacho and burrata… Then we'll talk about it. ALL the staff we spoke to were extremely friendly, professional, helpful but most importantly, pleasant and smiley. A pleasure just being there talking to them. An Easter lunch to remember! Thank you! PS: the price we set includes the very notable wines we chose. The quality/price ratio is decidedly very favourable.

19/02/2024: I had a wonderful experience in this place. This small place in the center of Pisa has an intimate and refined atmosphere, which stands out from the usual places. The owner is very courteous and approachable. The food is excellent and deviates from the usual offering, offering refined dishes with exquisite flavor combinations, presented with care. The background music and ambiance help create a truly enjoyable experience.

06/04/2024: Friendly service. Unfortunately it is not good value for money. Expensive for what it is. Positioning a little too touristy perhaps. The first clue is the caponata which is not at the level of what you can taste a few streets further.

06/04/2024: I enjoyed a high quality lunch today, thankfully we sat at a perfect little table outside in the shade. We started with the vegetable platter, which was an exciting array of lightly seasoned cooked vegetables we had just seen at the local market. It is hard to find nice fresh vegetables at restaurants in Sicily, this really served them all up. We also each had a pasta. I had the tagliolini with mussels, my husband had the ravioli with tomato and basil. Both were really fresh tasting, the mussels especially nice. Service was quick, friendly and courteous. I would happily recommend this place to anyone.

01/04/2024: It's one of those places you go when you want to feel a bit at home (in Sicily); there isn't a dish that isn't good and if they are famous for fish, the meat dishes are equally exceptional. Stratospheric panelle, aubergine rolls or “moving” swordfish rolls, cannoli and super cassata. You should go with two bellies😂 Staff always nice and helpful.

01/04/2024: Typical Sicilian cuisine, good food, good quality/price. A piece of advice to give, as there are many rooms, reserve one only for tables of up to 4 to avoid excessive confusion of large tables.

17/03/2024: We stopped here by accident - in a restaurant that was open at the beginning of the season. The food turned out to be great - fresh fish and seafood, perfectly prepared, served quickly. The service was very nice and helpful. Apparently from here there is a perfect view of the sun setting over the sea - we arrived when it was already dark, but still - a great experience!
