01/02/2025: A real disappointment! My partner and I went to Ciccio Sultano for lunch during our visit to Ragusa. We opted for the lunch menu which includes a welcome entrée, tasting of bread and butter, 3 courses, 1 intermezzo, and final mini desserts all accompanied by 2 wines. We sat down at 1pm and were out by 2.15pm. More than a lunch it was a tour de force. You understand that it is really difficult to taste and enjoy a lunch with so many courses in such a short time. As soon as we arrived we were offered a glass of bubbles to start, but we were given less than 10 minutes to finish it because the wine paired with the new dish had already been poured. Ditto for the following wine-dish combination. I was anxious about having to finish the wine before moving on to the dish that had already been served to me. I only ate a taste of the bread because it was then taken away from me to move on to the next course. An absolutely unjustified rush in service. I appreciate the idea of ​​not waiting too long between one course and another, but it was really exaggerated. Definitely not the service I expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Since this is not the first time in starred restaurants, I would also add that I found the description of the dishes and wines a little too hasty and not very detailed. Nothing to say about the quality of the food and the kindness of the staff. But I left saddened and with a bitter taste in my mouth given the great expectations I had. Experience not to be repeated.

12/01/2025: Das Menü ist fantastisch. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön (im grünen Salon). Für mich in Erinnerung bleibend die Minestrone und das Sizilianische Schwein. Weinkarte ist sehr umfangreich, aber relativ hochpreisig (für Italien). Service ist sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Ein wenig chaotisch, wenn man es mit mitteleuropäischen Sternerestaurants vergleicht.

01/03/2025: This evergreen and ever changing joint is quintessential when in town. From the decor to the service to the dishes, it's a true Sicilian statement. We had such a variety of starters and main courses, many of which had cold/hot and firm/raw contrasts statement of a more modern Sicilian staples yet still carrying the identity and the traditions. As a family run business they'll make you feel at home, the ground floor is wheelchair accessible as far as I can remember, if you can book a table on the first floor with the view and breeze from the harbour. Somewhat difficult to park in the summer, so take a walk there if you can. About €45 euros per person for a full meal

23/02/2025: We were in this restaurant for lunch on Sunday, by chance walking through the streets of Scicli... even from the outside it seemed closed, we sat inside this cave which is well furnished... we were greeted kindly by a boy who served us throughout the lunch in a kind and never intrusive manner. The lunch was all excellent...quality products and served in an excellent manner. Highly recommended and we will definitely return...

13/03/2025: I don't give a star because I respect those who work. It was the first time I went to this place that I had heard so much about, but I was really disappointed. Perhaps in the past it was truly a typical trattoria, but now the dishes are not those of the Palermo and Sicilian tradition. Maybe it's good for tourists. The place is simple, the service fast and not very attentive. I wanted to order another portion of swordfish rolls (the only dish I liked) but I was practically invited to leave the table hastily. Never again

22/03/2025: we were there for the first time. with friends.. and my husband and I are both celiacs... extraordinary... the menu was versatile even for us.. they didn't let us miss anything.. when usually in other restaurants.. they make do with us.. with some squalid dish... or not even giving a dessert or bread etc... they were excellent in everything... the owner was very kind and also the staff.... all the food was excellent.. we will definitely be back... compliments

22/03/2025: The place has a unique style that makes you feel immediately welcomed, thanks also to the really kind and friendly staff. We took a Sicilian appetizer and two first courses for two and we left really full and satisfied. It was all delicious and also plated with care, because the eye also wants its part! At the end they also offered a "ficudina shovel" with biscuits and chocolate cannolini, accompanied by a good glass of zibibbo and coffee. Truly beyond expectations, we will definitely be back!

29/03/2025: Maga Magò, a nice discovery I had never eaten Sicilian tuna with capers, garlic, cheese and olives, a really good taste, my girlfriend ate caponata with swordfish, which she had never eaten before. We were there on Friday and I still have the smells and flavours of that fantastic dinner, young but very polite staff... I can't wait to go back next Friday to taste their pizza and Sicilian appetizers

06/03/2025: You feel welcomed and pampered. The menu is not very rich but this guarantees the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The dishes are traditional, with some interesting touches of originality. Yesterday, for example, I ate the dish of the day which consisted of paccheri with sausage ragù with a grating of lost orange peel: really tasty. I usually get the ricotta ravioli with pork sauce. The sauce is very good. Among the second courses I prefer sausage or strips. Finally, among the desserts, I recommend the ricotta cake with orange and chocolate flakes; otherwise, for something lighter, chocolate mousse.

03/03/2025: Un accueil chaleureux et une excellente nourriture! Une bonne découverte de la cuisine locale avec un menu varié, de bonne suggestions et un bon rapport qualité-prix. Toute la famille s'est régalée de l'entrée au dessert. Exactement l'endroit ou on voulait aller lors de notre découverte de la Sicile.

15/03/2025: There were 3 of us who arrived, they left us the menus and after a few minutes they took our orders: we chose 3 busiate with 3 different condiments; the waitress turns up her nose and says that 3 all different is a problem because then the "chef" complains. Annoyed, she calls a second waiter who takes charge, much kinder. Good busiate, a little less seasoning, too impregnated with oil. €39 for 3 people good price.

10/03/2025: Really excellent dining experience! Beautiful atmosphere, and the food was the best I had during my 10-day stay in Sicily. Great customer service with kind waiters and good suggestions. Right off the main street as well, great location. Would definitely eat here again if I'm back in Agrigento! Highly recommend this place for some top notch Italian!
