We started with a selection of both raw and cooked appetizers, all of fantastic quality, fresh and prepared at the moment, if you want to overdo it you can continue with first courses or possible second courses. The impeccable service especially Antonio who gives you advice and suggestions as a great professional. Congratulations.

06/07/2025: I Cascinari is a place of the heart. It is the grandmother's cooking kept alive and reworked by chef Vito. It is the welcome of Piero and the very kind boys who serve in the dining room. Every time we return to Palermo, at least a couple of stops are a must. Exceptional value for money. Often after eating we also take something to take away. In my personal ranking: appetizer (free and for everyone) of panelline and croquettes, eggplant meatballs, spaghetti with black ink or Sicilian pesto, stuffed squid... but I mean, it's not possible: I would have to list the entire menu! It is essential to book, they are always full

10/07/2025: Lovely midsize restaurant a short distance from Via Labertà in a nice neighborhood. Clean, calm and attractive interior with prompt professional service and a wonderful menu. The food is very good, and the prices very reasonable! I wish I was hungrier when I went in! I shall return.

26/05/2025: Traveling around Sicily we came across this trattoria and obviously stopped for lunch. Everything was perfect, excellent quality food, clean and welcoming environment, young but very kind and cheerful staff, the owner very kind, honest bill. Excellent everything.

18/07/2025: If I could give zero stars, I would! Our food was disgusting! No taste, no flavor. The pasta was inedible and the meat was undercooked. It was very hot in the restaurant, and we really had to insist to get them to turn on the air conditioning. The service isn't great, and the welcome isn't warm. This is definitely a place to avoid! We thought we'd find quality, family-style cuisine there, but no... a real disappointment!!!

03/07/2025: Very nice place with outdoor tables and indoor area, we were there for a pizza to celebrate a colleague's retirement. I found a good choice in the proposals also original, various types of dough also for celiacs. The service was impeccable, little waiting good coordination in the release of the dishes. The place is very nice and the food is good, I recommend it

12/07/2025: The waiters are impatient and do not help with menu too much. The menu is a 1-line menu with no details on what the food contains. We walked a lot to get there because it was on a gluten-free site. They had very limited gluten free choice.

22/06/2025: My favorite place when I go to Sicily 😍 What can I say: welcoming, welcoming Dario and his family, quality food and a good selection of wines. Bar corner and equally welcoming outdoor areas surrounded by greenery. Generally making meat, fish and sushi is risky because they say you have to do one thing and do it well. In this case, however, everything they do is always excellent, from appetizers to desserts. And finally... super value for money! Absolutely a place to try

17/06/2025: Great kitchen, family owned restaurant. Just the best ingredients in every serve. In other restaurants in this town we payed more, and quality wasn’t as good by far.

14/06/2025: Location and food very nice. Attitude of the grumpy senior waiter (? Owner) was unnecessary and unpleasant to us and to a junior employee. No need to be unpleasant. You let yourself down just because you don’t like tourists even though one if us is an Italian…. But you didn’t spend any time to find out! Shame on you!

05/07/2025: Quite hidden gem, I’ve been in Italy many times and a big fan of Italian food. First time in Palermo, we found this cute small place, close to the Via Maqueda, but away from the crowd part. Service was amazing, food delicious and good prices. Highly recommended. 5/5

The owner is attentive and very helpful, making you feel at home and it feels like you've known him forever... and what can I say about the food... excellent quality ingredients that are prepared with skill and professionalism... 02/07/2025: The food here was decent. The ravioli was really nice, and the pasta sauce was great too. However, compared to other restaurants we went to in Taormina, there wasn't a "wow" factor. Maybe it was our choice of menu. The service was fine and the restaurant was quite crammed, but this wasn't too different from many other places in town.
