29/08/2024: Il posto è molto bello, non è la prima volta che andiamo,tutto bene curato e buon cibo ma adesso rispetto a qualche tempo fa' il menù è solo alla carta e lo abbiamo trovato un troppo caro esageratamente caro e a mio parere non giustificato .

The renovation of the premises in full Sicilian style and in harmony with the surrounding environment enhances the excellent cuisine and the professionalism of the staff. 21/08/2024: Immersive experience in traditional Sicilian cuisine. In addition to being able to enjoy excellent first courses, second courses and appetizers, you find yourself surrounded by various architectural elements and purely Sicilian furnishing accessories. The service is courteous and helpful.

10/08/2024: Great expeirence, not to miss this spot when you’re in Ortigia. They served us cheese selection with local jams, but prepare it according our suggestion. Also try local wine 😀 Service was excelent, atmosphere amaizing and foooooddd delicious!

09/08/2024: We stayed in a place near by and had our first breakfast here at Fratelli Burgio. We thought about checking out other places but the food, the coffee and the service was so good that we stuck with this place for our whole stay. The sandwiches are amazing but also the baked goods and the coffee is also lovely. Everything is fresh and the servers are super nice and attentive, if you ever go to Ortigia check out this place and you won’t be disappointed.

03/08/2024: An obligatory gastronomic stop in Catania. Central location and great service. The dishes are traditional but at the same time refined. Fried foods such as samphire fritters or newborn fritters are delicious, as is tuna caponata. However, by far the best dish is the beccafico sardines: excellent! Low price for what is brought to the table.

03/08/2024: Spectacular dishes, all excellent but the first courses are divine. Very impressive location located in front of Castellp Ursino. Well trained and welcoming staff. The owner is an exquisite and highly knowledgeable person, when he offers you a dish he tells you a story, the essence of the food and its careful preparation. What can I say...everything perfect and delicious.

17/08/2024: eravamo da tempo clienti fissi di questo ristorante, pur non abitando a Bergamo. Il 17 giugno 2024 avevo telefonato per prenotare per dom 7 luglio . Walter (il titolare precedente ) mi aveva detto che per quella data non c'era posto, quindi ho prenotato per 8 per la dom successiva, il 14 luglio . Quando siamo arrivati al rist. abbiamo scoperto che era cambiata la gestione, pur titubanti siamo entrati, grande delusione , tavoli senza tovaglia né tovaglioli , servizio pessimo, cibo scadente, però stessi prezzi !!!!!!!!! Il signor Walter avrebbe potuto avvertirmi che la gestione era cambiata , dal momento che ero una cliente abituale . La nuova proprietaria , quando leggerà questa recensione, spero mi risponda e mi chiarisca quanto accaduto.

14/08/2024: Fantastic food, fresh fish, welcome "like it used to be", warm and sincere; Superlative wine list, the place is welcoming and very clean. The best traditional tavern that exists at the moment (and for a while...) in Palermo. Ps: I dream about that busiata, tender meat and mussels at night!

08/08/2024: Wide choice of dishes, all equally inviting, among which we recommend the calamari... truly magnificent! The fish is very fresh and masterfully cooked. The wine list is also excellent. Very trained, honest and pleasant waiters. The only flaw: the environment was a little too hot. Overall, a highly recommended experience (and one to be repeated :))!

06/08/2024: One of the best dinners of my life! Friendly and helpful staff. The first courses were superb (Paccheri with swordfish and Paccheri with seafood), but the second course (tuna with corn breading and caponata) truly left us speechless! Furthermore, a very good white wine was recommended to us and the decomposed cannoli with which we finished dinner was also a wonderful surprise. We will definitely be back, we recommend it!
