Down-to-earth elegance, no overbearing frills, just the simple empathy you deserve for a customer. The food is the result of excellent product selection, with a thoughtful selection of vegetarian dishes sure to tempt omnivores. Wonderful touches include a sampling of the local olive oil and a surprise gift prepared by the Chef. Dishes are beautifully presented, a fascinating testament to how a young staff loves their work, treating the customer almost as if they were guests.

20/08/2025: Excellent restaurant. We had a tasting menu. It was very refined and generous. The service was impeccable. The dining room is a bit small.

14/08/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant, which I'd never tried before. The welcome was very friendly and professional. The dishes were carefully prepared and made with excellent ingredients. Special mention goes to the black tagliatelle and their homemade bread and breadsticks. The desserts were also delicious. A cozy and intimate place, ideal for a special occasion. Attached are photos of some of the dishes.

30/08/2025: First time here, thanks to a friend's recommendation. The place looks great, with a quiet atmosphere, clean and tidy. The owner was exceptional, offering excellent recommendations, and the food was divine. All the dishes were fantastic, from the appetizers to the liqueur (kindly offered by the owner). I'll point out again that everything, from the first courses to the meat dishes, was excellent. I'll definitely be back.

28/08/2025: We were recommended this resturant by our Airbnb owners. Sadly our experience was horrible. We were initially sat down at a table and left there for 30 mins before having a drinks order taken. Staff constantly pointing at is. We had nonidea what was going on. 15 or so minutes after the drinks order we were told to over tables. We were the 2nd group in thw reaturant after opening. Customers were coming in seated and orders taken. We then got asked for our order. By this time the resturant was busy and it took some 2 hours to get our main. We didnt feel welcome and it felt a complete hindrance for the staff and disgruntled manager to serve us. The one guy who did serve us eventually was super helpful and kind. The food was fantastic, the rest of the experience ruined that unfortunately.

17/08/2025: Highly recommended! The large raw fish platter was excellent, as was the cooked appetizer... even the stuffed and grilled cuttlefish and the soup. Everything was delicious. Congratulations!

21/06/2025: C’ero stato anni fa e ne serbavo un buon ricordo. Abbiamo preso antipasti primi e secondi, nulla di eccezionale, a parte la pasta al sugo di triglie che consiglio.

14/06/2025: Ristorante accogliente e sobrio, servizio veloce, cucina non evoluta. Abbiamo cenato al Kalos con una coppia di amici. Come antipasto abbiamo assaggiato lo sformatino di melanzane, tuma e gamberi: piatto "piatto", melanzane scomparse sotto una quantità esagerata di mollica, gamberi messi nel piatto senza senso! Come primo abbiamo ordinato le linguine all'aragosta: buoni di gusto e generose le porzioni. Per finire abbiamo diviso in quattro un pesce San Pietro: buono il gusto del pesce, un po' meno le patate con olive, capperi e pomodorino che lo accompagnavano. Abbiamo lasciato il ristorante con la sensazione di non aver mangiato male, ma di aver gustato piatti troppo casalinghi, con gli impiattamenti sbagliati: l'aragosta nascosta dalle linguine, il San Pietro sotterrato dalle patate! Servirebbe una maggiore innovazione!

14/07/2025: An incredible outdoor Sicilian vibe, with the notes of live piano music decorating our ambience. The service was attentive, and the food very well thought out in every dish. The cappuccino was also good. Perfect alley breakfast/lunch stop.

The only downside is that the restaurant, located on such a narrow street, has to position the tables very close together, meaning you could practically eat off the plate of your neighbor… 😉

02/08/2025: Beautiful location with a lovely atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious, especially the fresh fish, everything tasted super fresh and well prepared. Prices are a bit higher, but definitely worth it for the quality you get. This place deserves way more visitors.

01/08/2025: Looking for a restaurant away from the touristy areas of San Vito, we luckily dined at Alfredo. The staff were super friendly, smiling, and welcoming, the location was quiet and peaceful, the outdoor terrace was lovely, and the food was amazing! Bruschetta was a welcome treat, along with an appetizer, two first courses, salad, and dessert—everything was delicious! Highly recommended!
