11/02/2025: Today February 11th I had a reservation for dinner for 4 people... ah it was my son's birthday who came from France to spend it with me. I found the restaurant closed...and they didn't notify me. I was coming from Salemi and at 10.00 we were looking for places to eat. Nice seriousness!

09/02/2025: Arrived without reservation, alone, on a Saturday in February for lunch. The owner was kind to find me a seat even though the room was almost full. Characteristic place, in the middle of the countryside. I didn't do the set menu, but tried caponata and artichoke and ravioli. Everything was tasty, even if the artichokes, in my opinion, were a little hard on the outside. Very polite and professional staff. To return with friends.

11/11/2024: Tannur ci è stato raccomandato dal nostro host a Noto ma si è rivelato al di sotto delle aspettative e di quanto ci era stato detto in merito alla qualità dello stesso. Servizio cortese come abbiamo trovato in tuti i locali siciliani che abbiamo visitato ma abbastanza impacciato. Il locale è freddino e la qualità dei piatti non lascia ricordi particolari. Una piccola delusione soprattutto in rapporto alle recensioni molto buone trovate on line.

12/01/2025: I had dinner as a couple in this restaurant at the end of August, centrally located on a terrace next to the Follonica seafront. Each dish deserved a photo before being tasted, really well prepared and excellent. We ate the Crudite', the tagliolini with seafood, the spaghetti with cockles, and finally the cylinder of chocolate and zabaglione, all truly delicious. We spent the right amount and if we pass through Follonica we will certainly return.

31/12/2024: I had dinner at "Il Sottomarino" in September and was very satisfied. The dishes are particular, well prepared and above all delicious, with very fresh fish. The environment is welcoming and the staff friendly and attentive. An excellent restaurant for those looking for quality and originality in seafood dishes. Definitely recommended!

10/11/2024: The service, the food, the environment were all perfect

10/11/2024: It was one of the most exciting food and wine experiences of my life. From the entrance to the desserts, a union of continuous emotions. We came across it by chance with my family, including my wife and daughter who are celiac, after a morning at the seaside in a bay a few kilometers away. The tables are located in a courtyard of an ancient farmhouse built in stone and decorated with flowering plants and climbers. The guys in the room pampered us and explained the various dishes, one after the other, all delicious combinations of a cuisine characterized by the flavors of a wonderful land like Sicily.

23/02/2025: Cozy place. Polite staff. Appetizer of fried calamari and mixed seafood, really tasty and well cooked. Busiate with Trapani-style pesto... the tomato cut into cubes doesn't yield much flavor. Then there was little garlic. In short, a little tasteless, not up to par with the starter. Busiate with crab ragu.... you couldn't taste the flavor of the crab because it was too delicate and dominated by the tomato. Better to use another type of fish. However, overall a pleasant experience. Three place settings, two starters, 3 first courses, two bottles of water. Price around 30 euros per person. It can fit.

22/02/2025: Had lunch in this restaurant on the occasion of a business trip to Sicily, being a large group we were offered a fixed menu with a "Misto Mare" starter (consisting of octopus salad with mashed potatoes and courgettes, skewer of prawn with reduction of nero d'avola, cod fillet with sweet and sour onion, fried tuma with bottarga, arancinetta), an encore of first courses (busiate with prawns and cherry tomatoes and pasta with sardines) and Sicilian cassata, all paired with a local white wine (Grillo). Excellent product quality, tasty but light and well-balanced dishes. Very friendly and helpful staff and a welcoming and characteristic environment. If you are in Marsala a place to go. Advised.

22/02/2025: Cada detalle de este restaurante es cuidadosamente considerado para hacer la noche muy especial. El gerente era muy amable, hablaba excelente inglés y estaba muy bien informado sobre la comida y los vinos. El restaurante está ubicado en un antiguo edificio renovado con hermosa iluminación y decoración. Jazz ligero tocado para complementar el escenario. La comida era deliciosa y muy bien presentada. Normalmente optamos por platos de carne y aunque en el menú había ternera y cerdo deliciosos, nos centramos principalmente en mariscos y pescados. Mi besugo fue cocinado a la perfección, que es tan difícil de encontrar en muchos restaurantes. Todos nuestros vinos fueron obtenidos en Sicilia y complementaron la comida perfectamente. Una velada muy agradable y muy recomendable como uno de mis restaurantes favoritos en Sicilia.

11/01/2025: Ho letto la risposta del gestore del ristorante ad un cliente (Paola di Roma). Con dispiacere osservo di aver riscontrato che la grammatura delle porzioni che mi sono state portate non corrisponde alla quantità dichiarata nella risposta: l’antipasto, due tentacoli di polpo lunghi ciascuno 4-5 cm, non è 150-200 grammi ed i 6 tortelli con la piccola triglia non corrispondono ai 100 grammi a crudo dichiarati. Aggiungo che nessuno dei miei commensali ha reputato il locale meritevole di un altra visita.
