A rather unique, typical Roman trattoria. Truly excellent food. Not just carbonara and amatriciana, here you can enjoy authentic Roman dishes, even the slightly less common ones. Fast service and a family atmosphere.

I hadn't been here in years, and I must say I'd forgotten how good the food was! We had a guest from Turin, and we treated him to a mix of appetizers and main courses recommended by the owner. We were impressed, both by the friendliness of the owner and his staff, and by the variety and quality of the food. The wines were also interesting, with a choice of house and à la carte wines.
I'll be back at the first opportunity.

Five of us, five friends, went to this truly unique restaurant last Friday for a reunion. They had everything we needed. It felt like we were in another era. You can truly find fifth-quarter dishes in all their variations. I recommend their appetizer, which includes tongue, horse meat strips, seasoned coppa, nervetti, beans with pork rind, diced eggplant, and much more. In short, it's not your typical Roman restaurant, where, beyond the classic first courses, they only have lamb, scamorza, and tripe. Here, in addition to the first course of tagliolini with artichokes and bacon or tagliolini with chicken ribs that we ordered (there were also versions with paiata and with oxtail sauce, and others), there were sweetbreads, offal, fried and grilled lamb, oxtail, horsetail, paiata, tripe, and for those who don't want fifth-quarter dishes, they also have excellent horse meat and beef. We finished with a variety of homemade tiramisu, all exceptional. Everything was accompanied by a good house red that didn't go to our heads in the slightest. The atmosphere is informal, even more so than informal, but the service was excellent. We had Marino, who served us like a child would serve his parents. He sat us down and gave us all the information, patiently guiding us through this culinary experience. We had also had a few drinks, so he was very patient. Thank you, Marino. The price was fair for the quantity we ordered, and everything was excellent. Definitely recommended.

Eating authentic traditional cuisine has become a gold-digger's business. Gentrification impacts local areas and society vertically, touching every aspect of daily life, including food. I'm happy to have eaten here today, in a true osteria, traditional Roman dishes that are almost impossible to find anymore. Plump, diced, tender veal nerves expertly seasoned with greens, and a melt-in-the-mouth, citrus-flavored coppa di testa (a head of pork) that was incredibly fresh. The wood-fired bread was delicious and perfect for mopping up the bread. A fresh taglierino (a thin, thick pasta, almost like tonnarello) with a sauce of giblets and mushrooms, bay leaves, and rosemary—surprisingly elegant, and something I can't wait to make again at home. Rigatoni with pajata (a type of pajata) was tasty and delicate, with a real hint of milk in the pajata itself. And to finish, a sautéed sweetbread with herbs that I still swirl around in my mouth. The bill was very fair, the atmosphere relaxed. I would like to always eat this well and this locally, even in my Genoa.

A very unique and characteristic location, welcoming and very convivial. Exceptional mixed appetizers, truly traditional flavors that continue in the first and second courses, an exceptional queue, not to mention the desserts.
