There were 6 of us and we all had very different and typically Roman dishes, from something alla vaccinara... to the less Roman ones, but they pass them off as such, says the friendly host... from cacio e pepe to carbonara and special dishes... I recommend the place, the extremely friendly service and the top food. Greetings from Ferrara

This place was recommended by a local who had dined at this place since childhood. It’s definitely more local based and the menu is recited by the waiters. This restaurant offers more traditional Roman cuisine such as lamb gut pasta and other various dishes that use guts and other animal parts. It is worth trying out and enjoy the bustling atmosphere.

We went there for lunch today, as we were passing through Rome. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the host was very welcoming and showed himself to be a very nice, knowledgeable person who loves his job from the very first moment! The food was delicious; we all ordered traditional Roman dishes (as recommended), each one better than the last! The portions were generous and perfectly traditional. If you want to try Roman cuisine, come here. A quaint and authentic location, a wonderful experience, we'll be back!

Authentic hole in the wall restaurant Waiters don’t even have a menu, they just tell you the specials The food was so good. We didn’t like the bread with tomatoes because it was a little soggy but everything else was perfect

18/05/2026: A lovely place with friendly and knowledgeable staff, serving traditional Lazio cuisine and more, high-quality food at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
17/05/2026: Overall, the place and the food aren't bad. Let's just say they aren't very courteous, but they're very quick. The price is excellent for a full meal. It's not a place for those with disabilities.

08/08/2026: Cacio e pepe pasta, fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, Amatriciana, and the bruschetta, chicory dishes, and salads are all special. The view of Lake Albano is beautiful. Excellent food, and prices are affordable.
