From the outside the place doesn't inspire, it's a bit abandoned. Very nice and well-kept interior although small. Delicious food, excellent wine but the waitress forgot to let it taste after opening it, and the bottle coaster must not be missing. For the rest excellent desserts and excellent price. A place to return to.

Already from the photos and reviews you can understand the uniqueness of this place: pleasant and welcoming environment, tasty, delicate and well-presented dishes. I leave you a photo of the first one I had the opportunity to eat "gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and truffle", but the "tonnarelli with artichokes" were also very good. We will definitely be back, see you soon "Osteria San Cesareo".

Locale molto bello e accogliente, purtroppo a fronte di un ottimo cibo si perdono in alcune sfumature comunque importanti. I bagni non funzionavano ed erano chiusi, il servizio pur non essendoci molta gente era impreciso, dimenticando focacce ordinate e portando il pane dopo 20 minuti a piatti freddi. Peccato perchè i piatti sono molto buoni e presentati molto bene.

Dinner with friends, "modern", tasty and quality appetizer. The chickpeas with truffles are so good that they alone are worth the whole dinner. Selection of refined wines with description, the one chosen by us "Lu rappaio" is a delight. Intimate venue, excellent service! We'll be back immediately!

Posto scoperto per caso ma davvero una bellissima esperienza! Cibo ottimo e non convenzionale! Rivisitazioni particolari e dolci ottimi! Ambiente molto curato e personale davvero gentile e accogliente. Ci è piaciuto moltissimo e torneremo sicuramente!!

Cena tra amici, tutto molto buono un po troppo olio sulla tagliata ma per il resto perfetto, dolci veramente top. Staff attento e cordiale. Locale pulito e prezzi onesti. Consigliato.

Consigliatissimo, da assaggiare patate-cremadicacio-peperosa-lime, oppure barolo-mandorle-cavolorosso.... Ma qualsiasi cosa venga ordinata è buonissima. Ho messo solo la foto della carne perché ho dovuto aspettare che si freddava un pochino.

Ambiente carino e informale; cibo genuino e gustoso..lo definirei onesto. Le ribs bbq erano davvero buone così come la tagliata di pollo. Prezzi in linea

05/04/2024: Second time I choose this delightful little restaurant. "Maybe because I love you" Cozy and private restaurant in the Monti district: soft music and lights and decidedly intimate. We were welcomed with smiles, a polite and rather professional manner and with a hint of good humor which created empathetic sympathy with the workers. So the cuisine absolutely satisfied us. We were looking for tradition but also quality and a refined product. We found it. Captivating and decidedly Roman menu but with the addition of local excellences. Portions adequate to share. Wine list worthy of being called such. They also have 50ml bottles useful for not wasting so much delicacy. Price absolutely approved. The owner was present and attentive to pamper us with small unscheduled desserts. I hope this review is also useful for Simone and the sommelier course.

07/04/2024: A classic Roman trattoria run by Leonardo and Maria Pia, where you feel at ease, is located in via del Casaletto 45, a stone's throw from tram terminal no. 8 and therefore easily reachable from Piazza Venezia, the tables are set with tablecloths of fabric, the staff is kind and helpful, in this trattoria you can taste the dishes of the characteristic Roman cuisine of the past, "matriciana, cacio e pepe, gricia, carbonara" and other dishes including some fish-based dishes, so as well as the second courses "tripe alla Romana, coda alla vaccinara etc. etc., the raw material is of excellent quality and can be felt, in the evening they also offer pizza, booking a few days in advance is always recommended, the restaurant is always full.
06/04/2024: Excellent cuisine, service a little slow but on holidays you have to be satisfied. Prices a little too high. Come back on weekdays
