I've been coming here for years, and it's a sure thing! Today's dish of the day was radicchio and speck caramels... truly delicate and light. I had a second helping of their signature dish, the Amatriciana!!! Absolutely top-notch, highly recommended, excellent value for money.

A classic, neighborhood restaurant where you eat well and meet regulars, but not only. Dishes from Roman culinary culture made with love, including thin-crust pizza, also typical of Roman cuisine, cooked to perfection. A perfect place.

A safe haven. A welcoming atmosphere, a friendly and discreet family-run business, and attentive service. Traditional dishes, of the highest quality thanks in part to the raw ingredients used. You always go home happy after sipping an excellent gentian.

Excellent, generous dishes, always well-cooked. We've been going there for 30 years and they're always a guarantee... even the pizza is excellent if you like the thin Roman style pizza... a historic place in the neighborhood... a sure thing... their Amatriciana is the most famous in all of Rome, but the rest of the dishes are also worth trying, even their appetizers are delicious... highly recommended, and in the summer you can also eat outside if you want...

A small, old-fashioned restaurant with friendly service, a bit like being at your grandmother's house. She comes around to check on your food and warns you if you leave anything on your plate. The amatriciana is superb; despite the generous portion, it's not heavy and is less greasy than many amatricianas I've tried elsewhere.

A homey place with very welcoming staff, more of a trattoria than a restaurant, where a family atmosphere is perfectly recreated. Generous portions and excellently flavored dishes at a very affordable price. Parking is a bit inconvenient, but other than that, nothing to complain about. Of the various restaurants I've visited in Rome, this is one of the best I've ever tried. Their strong point is amatriciana for the first course and suckling pig for the second. They also do pizza in the evenings, if you prefer.

02/06/2026: Tullio was suggested by our concierge. Never obvious as to the integrity of the recommendation regardless of the city you find yourself in. The Tratoria was buzzing with activity. You are greeted at the entrance with a full view of a wood-fired grill with Fiorentinas patiently queuing to be admitted to the party! A reassuring sight for the carnivore! We are attended to by a Joe Pesci look-alike down to the squeaky voice, as well! The carciofi were excellent and we were fortunate to catch the tail-end of the first season. That entrance sealed the deal on the Fiorentina which did not disappoint. Good vibe and great Roman cuisine.
26/05/2026: Booking through the official website is very convenient and offers multiple language options. It was also fortunate that I managed to book. I recommend booking/requesting an indoor table. The Truffle Pasta was incredibly delicious, and the ribeye steak was tender and flavorful. The service, attitude, and ambiance were also quite comfortable this time. (I forgot the beginning and the end, but in short, this episode was amazing!)

26/04/2026: We found this restaurant by accident while walking around, and we’re really glad we did. A gentleman outside warmly invited us in and was incredibly friendly, which made a great first impression. The food was average, but the service truly stood out – very kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff made us feel comfortable and appreciated. Overall, it’s a nice place mainly because of the wonderful service.
14/03/2026: Consistently great experiences at Da Secondo. The food is always good, prices extremely reasonable and the service is fantastic, with a special mention to Matteo who looked after us for our post 6 Nations celebration. Highly recommend
