Simple and delicious food - nothing amazing but great comfort food. I would probably go again. Fresh pasta.

One of my favourite restaurants in Rome. The cuisine is Roman/Jewish and the menu changes every night. Unpretentious and not at all expensive. I came with my mother and we had three courses each. I also had a glass of wine and we paid £65 euros. I particularly enjoyed dining alfresco.

This place was recommended to us, I don’t think we would have found it on our own! Tucked into Rome’s Jewish Quarter, it has such a homey, authentic feel. The space is tight, adding to the family-style atmosphere. Everything tasted homemade and our group tried several dishes, including pastas, lamb, and their famous fried zucchini, which was very different from the fried zucchini we’re used to in the States. Such a fun and memorable place for our final evening in Rome! ❤️

Very happy with everything, and value. I’d go back.
We had 2 fettuccines with basil pesto and pomodoro , 2 sides of meatballs and marinated zucchini plus tiramisu dessert and drinks : aperols , house pino grigio , house prosecco .

The service was mixed. After a warm welcome and a cordial explanation of the menu, interest in our arrival seemed to wane. However, an off-menu pasta could be prepared, which was very nice. The food arrived quickly, and we got the impression that it would be appreciated if we quickly made room for any potential later guests. Not many arrived for the entire restaurant to fill up, and the pressure eased. Later, the interaction became somewhat warmer again, but not like at the beginning. The cacio e pepe was quite dry. The off-menu pasta was very tasty, and the meatballs were also very good!

A super friendly, homey place with a quiet and welcoming atmosphere. The fresh pasta is amazing. We went twice during our three-day stay in Rome. We'll definitely be back.

It's like stepping straight into a 1945 tavern. The atmosphere and setting seem unchanged, as do the dishes, which have that authentic taste of home and love, and the service, which is spartan and essential. Definitely worth a try; you won't be disappointed.
