Unfortunately, the atmosphere is very nice, the service is friendly and professional, and the waiters are friendly. However, the food arrives lukewarm, so it's pre-cooked and not heated enough to seem freshly cooked. What a shame.

It's actually a very good restaurant, unfortunately it depends on the service. One day it's very good, the next it's only okay because the food is served almost cold and the service seems unenthusiastic.

This place was recommend by our Colosseum tour guy Sandro. The food was out of this world!! The bucatini Americana pasta dish was absolutely delicious 😋 we also had the pasta carbonate, cheese ravioli and linguine with meats sauce. It was outstanding!! Our server Simone was also amazing!!!

Excellent food near the coliseum, everything was exquisite, the service was top-notch. We ordered three dishes with appetizers, and everything was perfect. The olives were delicious, especially two of the appetizers. Simone's service was excellent, always attentive. Don't miss it!

Trattoria-Vineria L'Idillio

08/04/2026: This is a historic trattoria we've been frequenting for several years (though less frequently than we should). Chef Paola's food is exceptional, as are all the owners' courtesy, and the place is well-kept and welcoming. We're not great wine connoisseurs and don't drink much, but when we do order wine, we ask Andrea for recommendations, and he's always given us excellent advice. We really miss the legendary fettuccine (especially the Idillio portions), which have become quite a challenge for Chef Paola, but the current menu has always left us very satisfied!
04/04/2026: A little off the beaten track, but a very charming restaurant with truly delicious food and a good wine selection. The prices are also perfectly reasonable. We had a wonderful evening, thank you!
