I had veal steak, risotto, prosciutto, and melon. However, I sincerely apologize for asking to have the bread removed from the receipt because I did not eat it, as it appears that bread is provided free of charge in Italian culture as a cover charge. The food tasted decent, and the service was not bad. (I do apologize once again for the server appearing displeased that I asked to remove the complimentary bread.) Since this seems to be a common misunderstanding, I would like to cautiously suggest labeling the charge on the receipt as "cover charge" rather than "bread."

I dined outside, but the seating was cramped if all the tables were occupied. The amatriciana was excellent, and the tiramisu was also very fresh. Good price.

I went to a restaurant recommended by a local Japanese guide who said it was a great place for carbonara and that she frequently visits!
(It's also listed in Japanese guidebooks about Italy.)
Even though it was just before opening time, they kindly let me in with an "OK 👌".
I've lived a fairly long life, but this completely changed my perception of carbonara.
The spaghetti was thick and chewy, and from the first bite I was like, "Wow!! What is this?!"
I made an additional order using my poor English, which caused a bit of a misunderstanding, but they handled it kindly without mentioning it.
The restaurant is located on a street set back from the main road, but there are many nice hotels nearby, so it's not unsafe.
The interior is decorated with many photos of celebrities who have visited, giving it the feel of a long-established restaurant.
They've even weathered the pandemic!
The restaurant has an antique feel.
The restroom was new, bright, and clean ✨
To the elderly person who brought the food to us, saying "Enjoy your meal" in polite Japanese:
I'm so sorry for misunderstanding your order and making you make risotto 🙇♂️
I realized my mistake later!
(The risotto looked delicious too)
Please open a branch in Japan 🙏

Our accommodation was right next to the restaurant, so we found it completely by accident, but it turned out to be one of the best experiences of our trip to Rome. The atmosphere of the restaurant is particularly pleasant, calm and authentic, just what you would hope for in Rome.

The food was okay. I got the steak and it was good but the seasonal vegetables were lackluster. Just boiled vegetables, only salt seasoning. My friend got the risotto and it was just wet rice, not combined well like risotto should be.

Recommended by an acquaintance, we went to this restaurant for lunch, where we were welcomed by Elvezio, a person of rare kindness, who recommended what to eat. Delicious Roman dishes expertly cooked, highly recommended. As soon as we return to Rome, we will already know where to go to eat.

Antica Bohème Restaurant in Rome was a wonderful discovery. The food is truly exceptional, with authentic flavors of traditional Roman cuisine: the tripe, in particular, is simply the best I've ever tasted in the city. The artichoke is also excellent, beautifully cooked, although I personally would have preferred a drizzle more olive oil. The location is ideal, perfect for enjoying a stroll in the heart of Rome before or after your meal. The staff is extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive, helping to make the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place.
