Historic traditional tavern in front of the former flower market, what can I say? Every dish seems to be cooked as if at home, very rustic but elegant atmosphere.

We stumbled upon this place while vacationing in Rome, partly because of the positive reviews we'd read. The first thing worth mentioning is the staff's hospitality: professionalism and the ability to immediately make you feel at ease like few others can. The food is excellent: the ingredients in every dish we tasted were balanced and meticulously measured, and the pasta was cooked to perfection—perfect, I'd say. The place is housed in an old building, a bit neglected on the outside at first glance, but meticulously maintained inside. Congratulations! This is a place like few others we've visited in our many travels.

The best restaurant in Rome, a truly authentic place to enjoy delicious and generous portions. Excellent value for money, drinks included! We'll definitely be back during our stay. The staff was very friendly.

Absolute masterpiece of a meal. We came here for my birthday lunch and accidentally found pasta heaven. It’s tucked just far enough out of the main tourist chaos that we were the only English family in the room, surrounded entirely by Italian families which is always the ultimate green flag. Started with the buffalo mozzarella and crispy calamari (perfection), before moving onto the main event. My daughter got the Amatriciana and I had the Cacio e Pepe with homemade pasta. Hands down the best pasta I’ve had so far in Rome. The staff were incredibly attentive, the wine list is excellent, and the bill at the end didn’t make me want to cry. If you want a proper, authentic local vibe with elite food, make the trip. 10/10.

Excellent destination for Roman cuisine with traditional dishes which were very well prepared. Very good service too with great recommendations from the waiter on food and wine.

Wow amazing!! Fantastic!! But they did charge me ten euro for an Aperol spritz which seemed excessive compared to the rest of the pricing (expected 8 euro).

Summary: A wonderful place offering a flawless experience with delicious Italian flavors and the friendly communication of the staff. (5/5) Experience: We tried suppli, fiore di zucca, carbonara, and tiramisu from the menu. Every dish we chose was delicious; we enjoyed them all. The portion sizes were just right, neither too much nor too little, quite filling and sufficient. Atmosphere and Service: The staff speak English, are very attentive, and communicate very well and comfortably with customers. The only criticism I can make about the place is that a €3 bottle of water was brought to the table as soon as we sat down and they tried to open it as if it were mandatory. This approach could have been a little more transparent. Recommendation: If you want to try authentic Italian flavors in a friendly atmosphere, you can definitely add this to your list. Keep in mind that the water is chargeable, so if you don't want to drink it, you can tell the staff from the start.
