05/10/2025: I rarely give low ratings because I always try to eat at carefully selected places. We came to this place based on the many positive reviews, and in hindsight, I can say that this is one of those classic cases where the reviews don't reflect the place at all. I'll make it short: 1) The location isn't exactly miraculous; on the contrary... everything is truly "cheap," starting with the table that swayed with disarming ease, which, combined with poor-quality knives that couldn't even cut water, made cutting the meat a real ordeal (see video). 2) I've eaten in many places (I'm an engineer and travel frequently for work), and I've NEVER, and I repeat, NEVER, been served a beef steak with all the fat still attached (meat needs to be trimmed before cooking and before serving!!!) 3) Let's draw a veil over the prices... you should split the price by two, and we haven't even considered the terrible service and the forgettable location yet! 4) Let's talk about the service...3 euros per person for service, and then you give me a waiter who I have to make smoke signals to call. A ruined evening to forget in every way, and 80 euros wasted on an inedible slice of meat. It was the first time in my life that when I was asked "Is everything okay?" when I got the bill, I replied "Not so much"... I always try to be polite... but that really took a lot of effort!

04/10/2025: Quality meats and a wide selection of wines. Very friendly. The place is a bit cramped, but attention to detail is evident.

06/08/2025: EXCELLENT PIZZA MADE WITH THE ANCIENT METHOD IN A WOOD-FIRED OVEN NOT YOUR ORDINARY CONTEMPORARY PIZZA HIGHLY QUALIFIED STAFF, EXCELLENT FIRST-CHOICE PRODUCTS, SPACIOUS INTERIOR, VERY AFFORDABLE PRICES. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO TRY MARIO'S PIZZA AT LEAST FOR THE FIRST TIME 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

11/06/2026: The seafood cuoppo isn't bad, but although it looks "full," underneath the fish are two balls of fried bread and a mixed fish and breadcrumb croquette (like a fish croquette). I don't think it's fair to hide them to make the fried food look more generous. The seafood cuoppo costs €10.

11/05/2026: We had a lovely lunch here over looking the bay. The sun had come out and they opened the terrace especially for us. The fritto misto was particularly good, and their house white wine very good

14/06/2026: Gorgeous location in the center of Agropoli. Elegant and welcoming, with young, friendly staff. There were four of us for dinner, and for our first time, we ordered appetizers and meat. We'll definitely be back to try the fish and also the pizzas, which look truly inviting. The wait time was quick considering we were there on a Saturday in June. Good value for money.

12/06/2026: Where do I start. There is a 2.50 service charge per person, we were 4 adults a small child and a baby. They charged us for 8 people. There is also 0 atmosphere. The "cocktail" menu is just gin with a mixer. Asked for a long island ice tea, nobody even heard of it before. Asked for any type of Daiquiri and they said "please order cocktails from the menu only" The food and drink is extremely overpriced and below average. Got a seafood platter for 22 euro. The prawns weren't even cleaned. If I wanted to clean poop from prawns id have just made them at home. I ordered the hamburger and it was just a flavourless patty with a half slice of bread on a plate for 16 euro. 05/06/2026: Highly recommended! I'll definitely be back. I was there recently with friends and I have to say I was very surprised. Aside from the meat, which was literally out of this world, the atmosphere is truly welcoming and the staff is super friendly. I'll definitely be back, highly recommended!

24/04/2026: The welcome, atmosphere, and food were simply fantastic! The platter was superb, the cured meats and cheeses were delicious. The side dishes were generous and flavorful. But the meat, the meat, was truly spectacular! If you're unsure or inexperienced, the owner will help you choose based on your tastes. We opted for a Spanish steak with a strong flavor, and we were right to trust and rely on the owner! Now that we've discovered him, we'll definitely be back.

28/01/2026: I think this pizzeria serves the best pizza in the entire province of Salerno. Highly recommended! Thanks to the owner, who's always smiling and attentive to her customers' needs! Top!

30/11/2025: Tonight we decided to order two pizzas, including a "white pizza with cherry tomatoes, arugula, and shavings." When we placed the order, we were informed that the red cherry tomatoes weren't available, and this was at 7:30 PM on a Saturday night. Honestly, I struggle to understand how such a common ingredient could be missing at the start of the service. Over the phone, we were offered to substitute them with yellow cherry tomatoes; the person who placed the call agreed, albeit with some hesitation, and told me so, since the pizza was for me. So I decided to call back to change the flavor, as I wasn't convinced by the change. Less than five minutes after the first call, however, I was told that it wasn't possible to change the order because the pizzas had already been prepared—perhaps even already on their way to delivery. The pizzas arrived fairly quickly, about 20-30 minutes later. The dough was good, as were the quality of the ingredients; it's a shame, however, that they were almost cold, as were the fries. And the worst part? The price. Pizza base €6, plus €1.50 for the arugula, €2 for the parmesan shavings, and €2 for the yellow cherry tomatoes. I should point out that the complaint about the price stems primarily from the limited quantity of ingredients; I've attached a photo. The service needs improvement.

27/11/2025: A great discovery via The Fork, excellent pizza and excellent fried food. Friendly and helpful staff. Family atmosphere. Bottled water a little pricey, but overall, everything was excellent. Will return.

07/04/2026: Stayed a night last week. Very different feel ie ambience, interiors. Room was top draw - adequate space, super clean (linen and bath). Staff were amazing - the young lady that checked us in, the gentleman that helped with parking. It's a 3 minute walk to the promenade. Quite a few restaurants and bars there. The bus stop (serving towns around Amalfi) is just outside the hotel, bus tickets can be bought from the shop opposite the bus stop. Bar was alright at the hotel, not a big one, again, very different charm. Considering we booked this 30 minutes before checking in, the stay was a very pleasant experience. Parking (garage) is available in the hotel at an additional charge looks like 3-4 cars can be parked, we used the hotel parking space. There's also a parking area outside the hotel.

04/04/2026: Very nice, clean hotel, well located near the beach, restaurants, bus, and ferry. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet could have been a bit more varied.

13/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at Conviovio!! The facility is beautiful, Antonio's hospitality is warm, and the food is delicious. Thank you, thank you.

10/05/2026: Half-board at the "Il Convivio" guesthouse in Rofrano is good value. The rooms are basic and the dinner was good. Mr. Antonio was hospitable and welcoming.
