For those traveling on the SA-RC highway, a stop at "O' Camionista" (The Trucker's), just outside the Sicignano degli Alburni exit, might be worthwhile. In addition to the restaurant, there's a well-stocked bar, a slot machine room, a tobacconist, an ATM, and a gas station with a car wash. The restaurant is simple and basic, offering reasonably tasty dishes and fast service. I recommend the trucker's appetizer, and among the first courses, the calamarata and the cheese and porcini mushroom crepes. The bill is in line with the service provided.

We stopped here two years ago during a trip and wanted to return for the same reason. Excellent location, plenty of parking, and excellent set lunch options. Unfortunately, unlike two years ago, we found the first courses very salty, but we had no problem with the second course. Very helpful staff.

08/04/2026: We found ourselves in this pizzeria by chance and I must say it was a pleasant experience, we ate well and the staff were excellent, we will definitely be back.
12/12/2025: Excellent pizzeria on the outskirts of Lancusi (Salerno), with friendly and helpful staff. The ingredients are top-quality, and there's a wide selection. I recommend the pizza with "mallone" and the "mallone" croquettes, a type of broccoli and wild greens with potatoes, a typical local recipe. There's plenty of free parking right in front of the pizzeria. It's best to make a reservation to avoid long waits. Mrs. Alfonsina, the owner, will be happy to help you and will do everything she can to accommodate your needs.
