10/11/2025: Excellent food, especially fresh fish, definitely recommendable

09/11/2025: Thanks to a gathering, I discovered this wonderful place. On Saturday evening, I and friends enjoyed a dinner with pizza samples and platters of cured meats and cheeses, which we thoroughly enjoyed. On Sunday, with a large group of well over 50 people, we sampled the courtesy, patience of the staff, and the deliciousness of the food! Definitely worth repeating!

10/09/2025: This pizzeria and restaurant isn't easy to get to, but it's definitely worth it! Generous, no-frills home-style cooking, delicious pizzas, a rustic atmosphere, and friendly, efficient staff. And finally, the prices are incredibly fair. Bravo!

16/11/2025: During our three-day stay in Maiori, this restaurant was our "safe haven." I'll never forget the Caesar salad, the Caprese salad, the pizzas and pastas served there. The service is fantastic, the place is delightful, in short, I miss Maiori, especially the Quadrifoglio restaurant where we ate during our three days in the city.

23/08/2025: Based on my experience at other restaurants in the area, I believe that the quality-to-quantity ratio of the food served does not justify the price, not to mention the service, which left a little to be desired.

17/08/2025: Everything we ordered was truly exceptional, incredibly fresh and expertly prepared with the flavors of Cilento. However…you absolutely need to improve your table service timing, because waiting an hour for appetizers to arrive means the method you use from taking the order to the dish arriving is decidedly flawed. I speak with knowledge, having worked in the restaurant industry for several years. Slow food is fine, but this will take away your appetite. 😂 And another thing! If I order a dish (parmigiana) and after the appetizers (so after an hour and a half) you tell me it's out of stock, you're also putting me off ordering anything else, because who knows when it will arrive and… if it will even be available.

25/09/2025: Excellent restaurant, nestled in a charming, almost old-fashioned setting in the piazza, amidst the bar, the fountains, and the old men with their newspapers and mail. The village of Vibonati is, in my opinion, highly underrated and should be rediscovered and properly publicized. "Paisà" is perfectly suited to this setting, both for its setting and for its dishes, which are reminiscent of "grandmother's cooking" (and my grandmother was a wonderful cook). I will definitely be back; it was an extremely positive experience at a reasonable price.

21/09/2025: We were there on a Saturday, so it was a real Cilento hustle and bustle, in a good way! Bruschetta, casarecche chingiale, sausage, etc. – everything was great! Despite the hustle and bustle, we received personalized service and perfect food.

26/11/2025: Something indescribable, the best pizza I've ever eaten!

23/11/2025: On Saturday evening, we ordered simple appetizers and pizzas. The appetizers arrived in bits and pieces, one every 10 minutes, even though we'd ordered more to eat them all at once. Not to mention the pizzas arrived at different times, leaving us waiting for each other. Terrible service; we had to repeat our order 12 times, and they still got it wrong, but it wasn't our fault. The atmosphere was basic.

01/12/2025: My mother paid $1200 for accommodations that were falsely represented online. Avoid this place at all costs. They are not to be trusted. Response to the owners reply: You have replied trying to spin the story in your favour, when in reality this is false. My mother, the lady you are referring too, booked a room via a third party booking site, and the pictures she saw (and showed me, not to mention you uploaded to said site) which featured two seperate rooms, but, when we arrived, the room was a single bed room with a sofa. We then proceeded to ask for the room we paid for from the images shown to us before and you denied and said that was the room... which it wasn't. This is false advertising and a scam. Buyer beware, and do not listen to this disgrace of a business owner. Shame on you for scamming an older lady out of $1200 for an accommodation she didn't even get to stay at, and for false misrepresentation of your accodomations online. Which also by the way, are not accessible for disabled people such as my mother, and also you said you'd assist her entry and then left her to her own devices, you also then charged her 30 euros for a 7 minute ride stating that she "can't use taxi's because they are all busy" and that you "know a personal driver who can take her" to then taking her yourself and charging her for that too. She told me all about this and I'm extremely infuriated about how you treated an older lady in a foreign country. Despicable. If you'd like to be a man and a real business owner and refund her, then we can speak about removing this truth from your page if you so wish to hide your wrong doings.

28/11/2025: We'd like to thank everyone at the Pesce d'Oro Bed and Breakfast for their hospitality and for doing everything they could to make us happy during our stay. The property has private parking, is just a few kilometers from Amalfi, and is conveniently located for reaching various tourist destinations or the Path of the Gods. The breakfast is delicious, especially the lemon cake. The lemon house at the back of the hotel is spectacular. We'll have to return in the warmer months to try the restaurant. 03/11/2025: Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. I'm celiac, so I ate a scarpariello pizza and a cheesecake. The waitress brought me a cheesecake with gluten. If it hadn't been for my colleague who noticed that it was the same as his, I would have eaten it. Furthermore, the next day I was hospitalized for abdominal colic, and tests confirmed the pizza had been contaminated. Celiac disease is a serious thing!

21/10/2025: Disclaimer: This is intended as constructive criticism. Average pizzeria, nothing special: standard pizzas, fairly quick service, but no special attention. The real disappointment was the caprese salad: we specifically asked for mozzarella not to be cold—stating that we wouldn't have ordered it otherwise—but it arrived freezing, including the tomatoes. A simple request, but clearly ignored. It's a shame, because a little more care would have made a difference.

03/10/2025: We asked a craftsman for a good restaurant during our tour of Cilento. In short: beautifully set tables, good, fresh food, good service, and reasonable prices. Worth every detour! Thanks to the kitchen and service!

27/09/2025: An excellent restaurant for banquets and private dining. Prices are more than reasonable for our standards (i.e., Northern Italy), as demonstrated by the attached menu (pictured). The homemade pasta dishes and mixed meat and fish appetizers are delicious.

23/11/2025: A place worth trying. The food is good and prepared in an original way. If you want to avoid the chaos of the ground-floor dining room, you can sit here and enjoy the view.

16/11/2025: The food is good at all the old Wild West restaurants, and this one in Pontecagnano is no exception. The staff is super friendly and fast. The draft red beer they serve is excellent. Highly recommended.
