05/08/2024: Basterebbe solo il paesaggio per giustificare il costo. Pizza tradizionale, molto ma molto buona. Prezzi super onestissimi. Ambiente informale, servizio gentile e veloce. Vado almeno 1/2 volte al mese. Consigliatissimo.

30/07/2024: Piacevolissima serata passata in famiglia tutto buono . Ritorno da incubo, abbiamo parcheggiato alla stazione di Vietri e con un comodo ascensore siamo arrivati sul corso tra botteghe e localini, come il proprietario consiglia, omettendo però che alle 10 e mezza l'ascensore chiude e siamo a Luglio, quindi per recuperare la macchina dopo una serata piacevole due chilometri a piedi in salita per una strada buia e pericolosa. Le informazioni bisogna darle bene non con finale a sorpresa🤯

04/08/2024: We didn't stay here, we just came to eat pizza. She is great! We ordered with sausages and potatoes and 4 cheeses. We were very pleased, but we waited a long time for the bill.

04/08/2024: Disaster, rude, rude, never worse service We came with another couple and sat at a table for 4 and our friends had to leave because the pregnant woman was sick. We called 3 waiters to order food and they all ignored us, we had our drinks and called the waiter to bring us the bill after 30 minutes of waiting. The waiter was rude to us and complained that we sat at a table for 4 people and that we were taking a seat in a half-empty restaurant. We wanted to order and would have had no problem moving to another table if they had told us. We do not recommend!!!

23/11/2024: If you are on the motorway near Padula, you absolutely must stop to eat at Picchio Nero. Nice, welcoming atmosphere in a modern style. The staff in the room were very kind and friendly, as well as professional. The food was all spectacular from the starters to the first courses and the meat-based second courses. But for me the 🔝 of the 🔝 were the pizzas. All leavened perfectly, with the right amount of salt, light, cooked perfectly with the great skill of the pizza chef and rolled out thinly with a high, crunchy edge. I ate the bufalina and went back 30 years, when I went to eat pizza at Negri's in Pontecagnano with my grandparents and parents. Truly spectacular. Thank you for the lovely evening spent and for your kindness and professionalism. I'll be back to see you soon.

13/10/2024: I give full marks for the pizza, which is more like a cloud than a pizza: very soft dough, leavened to perfection, perhaps the best marinara I've ever eaten. Other things to review, for example the Mediterranean fried food.

It's a wonderful place. I recommend it wholeheartedly ♥️. The products come from our own garden… The homemade cake is incredibly tasty with almonds🤩, honey, chocolate and coffee. 11/08/2024: On an evening escaping from the summer heat we stopped in this pizzeria. We had a white pizza with courgette flowers and ricotta and 🍋 oil: delicious is an understatement and a margherita, which is the real test to see if it's worth it . Congratulations to the lady and her husband. She, very kind, does the table service, he takes care of the oven. Well done! The place is perfect for those of us who don't like confusion while at the table and while you enjoy the pizza you enjoy the view of the Tramonti mountains. Price more than fair. What more could you want!

15/10/2024: I stayed for a short time in this hotel recommended by friends. Clean and spacious room, very helpful staff and the owner, Rita, always ready to fulfill our every request! Breakfast is both buffet and served at the table, including pancakes, croissants, tarts etc... Lunch and dinner have a vast menu with typical local dishes, I really loved the off-menu ones 😂 A friend of mine with celiac disease didn't have any kind of problem as it also provided gluten-free dishes! The hotel has a swimming pool and a garden where you can spend relaxing moments or enjoy the variety of cocktails prepared by Arnaldo, you won't regret it! Located a few steps from the sea and the beauty of the Temples! Highly recommended!

18/11/2024: If you intend to spend a different evening and savor an excellent panuozzo, you can't help but go to Salvatore in Mercato San Severino. In this restaurant we had the pleasure of eating the best panuozzo ever. The dough is something exceptional, the leavening is perfect and the crunchiness makes it tasty and tasty 🤤

28/08/2024: Just amazing, little hidden gem. Make sure you pop in 💗 I had tomato pasta with pancetta and when I asked they also added some olives to it. One of the most flavourful sauces I had in a while. Also, there’s a fantastic service, so welcoming and friendly. Grazie mille.

If you are a traveler of taste, experiment with unusual preparations. Absolutely worth trying is the "pastiera errata"... a real surprise. Super recommended
