18/06/2026: I had dinner there after a long day at work. I appreciated the family atmosphere. First of all, the kindness of the owner, who gave me the best recommendations for a quick dinner... I had a melted cheese appetizer that was out of this world! And right after that, lemon chicken strips, which were truly delicious. I can only compliment the cuisine at this restaurant. The service was perfect; I felt right at home.
09/06/2026: After a beautiful hike along the Cilento trails, there's nothing better than stopping at this family-run inn!! Local flavors, hearty dishes, and it's like feeling right at home!! CONGRATULATIONS

08/04/2026: Excellent sushi in a small, cozy Japanese-style restaurant. Dishes are freshly prepared, all of them excellent. Even though it's not AYCE, the prices are still reasonable and affordable. Recommended!

15/04/2026: Very nice and welcoming with a small outdoor garden. The food is excellent, with fresh fish and excellent fried food.
My only suggestion is to check the dishes; the plates were a bit damaged.

09/08/2026: Hospitality, conviviality, dishes that exude tradition. Carmelo, the owner, welcomes you as if you were family, and his team is made up of friendly and attentive young people. The highlight, in the summer, is the wonderful garden where the scent of jasmine inebriates you and the atmosphere is a mix of elegant and romantic.

01/05/2026: A restaurant with a stunning view of Vesuvius. We started with a delicious antipasto from the farm. For starters, I tried the Nerano and the Cortecce with potatoes, mushrooms, and provola. Both were delicious, as were both the pasta and the sauce. For the main course, a tasty grilled meat. The staff was prompt and courteous. The restaurant has its own free parking lot and a small playground for children.

22/04/2026: Gerardooooo…the innkeeper with a capital O is an old-fashioned man. He complains that he's the only one left running this tavern because his children are out doing other things…but he's good and passionate. Authentic food like you rarely find: mallone, braciole and goat ragù, chicken schucchiato…a delight. Cold country wine and old-fashioned desserts.

22/01/2026: We spent an extraordinary evening with excellent company, eating linguine with stockfish and cherry tomatoes, stockfish salad. And finally, stockfish Vicenza-style, drinking high-quality red wines. A restaurant that has become part of the history of a town, its years having an impact on the gastronomy of San Giorgio. Everything was excellent; I highly recommend sampling the true culinary traditions of this restaurant!

16/03/2026: A very casual place just steps from the center of Salerno. No-frills Cilento cuisine. Mr. Angelo is super friendly and helpful. When you go, skip the menus and ask him for recommendations.

The menu was well-thought out, featuring both meat and seafood, with thoughtful yet understated options. The quality of the dishes was very good, but honestly, nothing was a standout, which is what I expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. Everything was certainly high-quality, but in my opinion, it lacked the expected punch.

22/04/2026: Always excellent! From the buffalo mozzarella, Battipaglia's best, to the cured meats, and finally, the well-established quality of the various ready-made meals available daily for both takeout and quick dine-in.
05/02/2026: We arrived there on the recommendation of a local, and the guy at the counter was very cheerful and helpful. I had an excellent sandwich with mozzarella, spianata, and zucchini! He even gave us some mozzarella bites to try.
Desserts, drinks, and a few ready-made dishes are also available.
The place is small, mostly for takeout, but there's a table with stools along the wall for a quick bite.
I'll definitely be back.
