02/09/2025: I've been hearing about this restaurant for 20 years, and yesterday was the first and last time. The food was awful, everything was frozen, even the anchovies for the cuoppo were dry and you had to cut them with a knife to remove the bones, and on top of that, they were also cold. The lobster linguine was greasy with oil, the lobster was tasteless, and also frozen and hard. We didn't have dessert because we were very disappointed. The staff were very friendly, fast, and kind. The location isn't crazy, but that doesn't matter if you eat well, you can also dine in the garage. The prices are super high for the type of restaurant and what it offers.

22/08/2025: My partner and I found it by chance on our trip to the Amalfi Coast, and it became our favorite. We returned twice more because everything was delicious. We especially recommend the swordfish pasta and the spaghetti ale vongolle. For us, it's a must-try. The house white wine, also excellent, surprised us greatly. For dessert, the ricotta cannoli was also excellent. A very cozy atmosphere, unbeatable service, and very friendly staff. We were very sad to leave Italy, and this restaurant was one of the reasons why. Prices were more than reasonable for the quality of the food; we paid around €25 each for a glass of wine, water, first and second courses (one of each, to share), and dessert.

04/08/2025: Hotel Ariston is an excellent choice for a stay. The rooms and the hotel are modern with a hint of traditional charm, spacious, and very clean. The staff is friendly and professional, always making guests feel welcome. Its location is perfect, just a short walk to the main strip and the beach. Breakfast offers a nice variety, and the bocconcini and ricotta are always fresh. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

15/07/2025: This was my go to for morning pastries and cappuccino. Short walk down hill from our Villa and worked off the pastry on the way back up! Staff was very accommodating for my travel Italian. The cream doughnuts are awesome!!

15/06/2025: The restaurant, located at the exit of the Baronissi junction, with a large parking lot, is very characteristic. Kind and professional staff will recommend a Lucullan path consisting of excellent dishes, all strictly homemade. Obviously the suffix "Braceria" indicates that the specialty of the restaurant is made up of different varieties of meat. But the platter of cold cuts with which you begin the path can be an excellent start. Then you move on to the first courses consisting of homemade pasta (I recommend the ravioli). Obviously you can't help but taste the various types of meat served with a side of potatoes in foil. Then you move on to the desserts which are exquisite. The cost is a little high, but proportionate to the quality. Two appetizers (abundant), three first courses, two kilos of meat, two side dishes, five desserts, 4 bottles of water and five covers, €190.

09/08/2025: We visited Osteria 'O Ciardin on a Saturday evening with a reservation. The restaurant wasn't very crowded, and we dined in the outdoor garden. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The menu is based on seasonal produce, and we enjoyed two appetizers: the peach salad, a pleasant discovery, and the delicious sciurilli and zucchini parmigiana. For our first course, we chose delicious spaghetti with corbarino tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella, with the typical sweet and sour flavor of this tomato, and a summery Genovese with fusillo sangiliano, much more delicate than the Neapolitan version, enriched with lemon zest and featuring the typical fusillo of Sant'Egidio. We washed it all down with a delicious Falerno wine. The bill was in line with the quality and deliciousness of the dishes we ate. Highly recommended for an al fresco summer dinner in a family-friendly setting.

28/07/2025: My partner and I have been there for dinner two nights in a row (so far) to try the various options, as we'd loved it from the first night. The pizza was very good, with the essence of traditional flavors. The following evening, the fish and meat entrees were excellent. The main course, a truly excellent tuna steak, is hard to beat. The staff was friendly and fast, especially one young man who exudes passion for his work. Compliments also to the chef.

23/08/2025: Beautiful place with a sea view, fantastic and very kind staff, especially Rosa, always clean rooms, and everything else. Their friendliness made me and my family feel at home. The food is good, with hearty breakfasts. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a few days at the seaside because from there you can reach the beach in a short time. There's so much more to say, but I think you have to see the place firsthand. The sunset and the panoramic view.

21/08/2025: During our short stay in Vietri, we ate at Somarè and enjoyed it so much that we returned a few nights later. We can confirm that both the pizzeria and the restaurant are excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Carlo, who served us with great kindness and precision. We highly recommend it!
