We finally found a restaurant that agreed to offer two tasting menus and even split the portions! Thus began a journey between land and sea, with dishes with enveloping aromas that transport you one moment to an Amalfi terrace under a lemon pergola, and the next to an Alpine chalet by the fire. In Cava, right near the convent, there's an exceptional restaurant that has everything to make it exceptional.

Everything was good, the place was welcoming. I recommend the fried calamari as an appetizer; they were excellent.

Valentine's Day dinner at Casa Rispoli. A very welcoming and charming restaurant in the center of Cava. We opted for the five-course seafood tasting menu for €75. The bruschetta with raw shrimp was very delicate on the palate, while the fried calamari was too oily, as was the seared tuna. The pasta was a very positive note: the tagliolini with shrimp tartare and lemon were truly excellent. Service was average.

In the absence of the excellent Alessandro, the restaurant manager managed the entire experience with courtesy, patience, and professionalism, putting guests at ease and ensuring smooth, attentive service. This is a point worth highlighting, as it significantly contributes to the overall enjoyment of the evening. The cuisine confirms Casa Rispoli's reputation as a restaurant where the quality of the products is medium to high. The ingredients are carefully selected and carefully crafted, with dishes that consistently reflect local flavors and seasonality. The food has always been tailored to the most popular tastes and aligned with what one expects from authentic, sincere cuisine. Christmas lunch. A la carte seafood selection. Delicious dishes and fresh fish. Friendly staff. Clean and welcoming. Fairly priced for the quality and the holiday season. Reservations recommended.
