19/05/2026: We just arrived in Naples and wanted to grab a relaxing lunch on our way to our accommodation. Villa Antica, a family-run restaurant with a great view, immediately appealed to us. Unfortunately, we can only warn against visiting it today. We were completely ripped off, and when we confronted the waiter (the son), he became increasingly entangled in lies. The father, the owner of the restaurant, became aggressive and almost physically violent, so we ended up having to spend the day at the police station. Not only was this a very unpleasant experience on the first day of our vacation, but we also suffered a financial loss of €1350 due to the fraud. Because of the family members' solidarity, it's now a case of one person's word against another's, and we can't prove the restaurant owner's guilt. Please protect yourselves and don't support this family business of fraudsters in their shady dealings.

01/04/2026: It's our first event at this location, and there aren't enough words to describe the excitement we felt celebrating our daughter's baptism. I don't know where to begin. The food was superb, the guests are still talking about it, and it's the first time it's happened to me. Abundance and quality are hard to find these days, so I thank all the kitchen staff and the chef for this. A superb menu recommended to us by Laura, whom we met on our first day. She showed us the castle and the various menus, recommending the best. A simple and direct woman, she knows how to advise and is very accommodating and convincing, she knows how to listen and propose things in the right way. During the ceremony I found the waiters polite, kind and very helpful, I would add patient and friendly, even in this case nowadays it is difficult to find waiters who work in this way, the maitre d' very attentive and present, to our surprise the director Pina was present in the room at several times to make sure that everything was going well, a person of rare kindness and professionalism, she was our guide in every step of the way, always present, available, attentive to every detail, with her constant support, we felt accompanied with care and serenity, and nothing was left to chance, we felt pampered even though it was a simple baptism with a few guests, Her passion and commitment are clearly perceived, and we will be forever grateful to her, moreover without asking (because in my opinion they deserved every single euro), she paid attention to the total, Laura was also present in the room, we were very pleased to see everyone's presence, from the person selling you the service to the person completing the reception, I have visited many villas especially for work and I've never seen such a complete and close-knit team. The waiters were eager and motivated to work, and you could tell from that. It was important because they often indirectly make you feel the pain of their work. I wanted to make a good impression, and I'd say I succeeded very well! It remains a beautiful memory and many to relive because I will definitely return. Finally, I would like to add that every time I went there for the various pre-baptism meetings, I always found staff doing maintenance on the gardens, at any time, a large parking lot, and they gave us celebrants the opportunity to go right up to the castle entrance. Oh, I forgot, it wasn't the only party; there was also another baptism, but we didn't really notice. We were worried at first because we shared the same space in the large hall, but they managed this very well too. Neither party hindered or disturbed the other. The children were entrusted to the entertainment staff... and anyone who saw or heard them in the hall... I hope my honest review can help many people who are looking for impeccable service and top-notch food. My mother, who has digestive problems, ate everything and had no difficulty digesting it for the first time as she didn't even feel heavy. Standing ovation to all of you. 24/05/2026: Our stay at the Hotel La Palma on Capri was a fantastic experience overall. The exceptionally friendly and professional welcome was definitely a highlight. The reception staff were always helpful and very attentive. We also really liked the beautifully and stylishly furnished rooms. Unfortunately, the first room we were assigned (No. 305) faced a children's playground. The noise from there was audible even through the very well-insulated windows, making it impossible to spend time in the room or on the veranda with the balcony doors open. However, we were very happy with the second room we were given. It was quiet despite being right next to the pool (on the same level). What we didn't like at all, and what deserves at most two stars, was the (included for us) breakfast and the "service" associated with it. There was a very small buffet with mostly sweet cakes and pastries. There was also one Italian white bread and one type of dark bread. Yogurt, three jams, and Italian cheese were also available, but the cheese was very strong and not exactly what you'd expect for breakfast. But perhaps that's a matter of personal taste. There was also antipasti and muesli. Everything was the same every day. What we missed was a selection of sausage, ham, and cold cuts. Italy truly offers a wide variety of these. As we learned, these could be ordered from a menu, but at a considerable extra charge. 🧐 From this menu, you could also choose one hot drink (the teapot was only half full, so it was just one cup). Waffles and egg dishes were free, but bacon was also charged extra at €8. Unfortunately, the service at breakfast can only be described as incredibly poor. With the exception of one server, everyone seemed to suffer from collective amnesia. Every morning, we had to repeat our orders three or four times because we still hadn't received a hot drink or butter after 20 minutes. Furthermore, numerous orders, such as water, eggs, etc., were delivered completely incorrectly. For a hotel belonging to the Dr. Oetker Collection and operating in this price range, this is unacceptable. This urgently needs improvement. Nevertheless, this hotel can certainly be recommended. The price-performance ratio isn't really right, but that's due to the location and the island of Capri itself. Nothing here is cheap, but you know that beforehand. But it's absolutely beautiful and pure entertainment!

14/06/2026: Last night, for the first time, we had the (pure) pleasure of stopping to eat (it's too simplistic to call it that!) in this magical place! It was what Muriel Burbery would call culinary ecstasy! Dish after dish (expertly and graciously accompanied by a precise description of each dish), we immersed ourselves in a world of pure flavor. The owner's passion for this place makes you feel part of it. While we ate, we wondered which of our friends we could recommend this place of "sensations." We drank a wine chosen by the owner, of our own free will, based on a specific request, and he perfectly guessed what we liked. Excellent raw materials, superb cuisine, and a 24k (!!!) olive oil made this evening a unique sensory experience. Thank you, Enzo ❤

28/01/2026: Tallioo is one of those places that needs no introduction: a historic establishment that has existed for decades, authentic and true to its roots. It's located in the lower, historic part of San Giorgio a Cremano, on Via Roma, inside the typical Vesuvian villas, and this alone gives it a special charm. Inside, the atmosphere is that of a true old pub, warm and quaint. I personally used to go there when I was a minor, so we're talking over thirty years of history, always with the same identity: a selection of unique beers, top-quality ingredients, and cuisine that never disappoints. If you're going for dinner, I recommend even just the appetizer tour. The meatballs, eggplant parmigiana, and meat are excellent, always top-quality. The risottos and desserts are also delicious, always a great end to the meal. The prices are average; in fact, I'd say they're quite affordable for what they offer. It's a place suitable for everyone, even families: today I go there with my family, but as a kid it was already a go-to place. A truly worthwhile place that I recommend without hesitation. Tallioo is a sure thing.
