13/04/2026: This is the best best best pasta you would find in Sorrento! It’s so good that we had to come twice in our 3 days visit. It’s exceptionally well cooked. It’s with no doubt a home-cooked restaurant. Please make yourself a favor and try it. I’m vegetarian and had the zucchini spaghetti and the gnocchi à la sorrentina. Incredibly good! The service is great! The stuff is super friendly. Thank you!!!

13/04/2026: Imposible to only eat here once during your trip. I now live in italy and I've had my fair share of good pastas in various cities and towns, but this place, somewhat tucked away off a side street, just has some of the best and freshest tasting pastas I think I've ever eaten. No frills, just pure heartfelt food. A trip to sorrento would be incomplete without at least one meal at Semola

05/04/2026: Gigino e figli is a classic neighborhood pizzeria that has built a loyal clientele over time and cements its relationship with customers, consistently creating excellent pizzas. Excellent dough and authentic pizza style. Prices are fair, and the menu offers a truly interesting variety. The Margherita and the Provola e Pepe are classics worth trying. They add a new pizza every month, which is another reason to return. Excellent value. Recommended for a quick or casual pizza with traditional flavors.

04/04/2026: The products at Gigino e Figli pizzeria are among the best in Naples, as demonstrated by the fact that at peak times you may have to wait about an hour for service, but it's worth it!

07/09/2025: Wonderful place, it truly feels like you're in a fantasy world. The waiters are very kind, and there's even a magician who wanders among the tables and puts on magic shows. We'll definitely be back.

10/04/2026: Chaplin's Irish bar on the Corso Italia in Sorrento is simply superb. It is, without doubt the best Irish bar that serves the best guinness we have ever tried, outside of Ireland. We visited here most days and it was nice to sit outside watching the world go by, whilst enjoying superb stout. The staff are lovely and they know their stuff when it comes to serving proper guinness. Luigi even spoke some Irish with me and has visited Ireland on different occasions. Definitely recommend here to visit. Go raibh míle maith agat. ☘️☘️☘️

04/04/2026: Sorrento wouldn’t be the same without Chaplins Bar, it made me and my partners 5 night trip. The best of Staff Mario,Luigi and Lorenzo are the soundest lads and great craic! The drinks are also class! Will make sure to return anytime I’m near Sorrento in the future!!!!

12/04/2026: Bad experience. The pizza wasn't great, the ingredients were low-quality, and we all spent the night with heartburn. Plus, we waited an hour and a half for takeout. Since it was a Saturday night, I would have been fine if the pizza had been good, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

07/04/2026: I stayed there on December 25th. The sink was clogged and wouldn't drain, so I called for help, but they started repairing it right there. And to make matters worse, they used my towels without asking. When I asked to change rooms, they reluctantly did, but the new room had no view, and there was hair in two places in the shower room, making me doubt they were cleaning properly. The reason I didn't give it a 1-star rating is because the bartender was very kind and readily lent me a fork and knife when I bought pizza outside, which I really appreciated. I added that as a positive point, and ultimately gave it 3 stars.

10/01/2026: After days of poisoning my soul with tourist menus, stomach aches, and crazy prices, I was lucky enough to find and try this place. A TRUE traditional restaurant. Dishes are cooked, not reheated. Prices are fair, perhaps even low by Naples' current average. We tried a bit of everything, and the quality was truly top-notch. Pasta and potatoes with provola cheese, beans and mussels, parmigiana, delicious meatballs still warm from the heat... And the owner, an exceptional woman, runs the place with old-fashioned passion and professionalism. Highly recommended.

10/11/2025: An excellent dinner at Tavernetta Cinquantotto, a restaurant that perfectly combines a traditional Neapolitan atmosphere with a modern and refined touch. The tuff interiors and soft lighting create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for both a romantic dinner and a special occasion. The menu offers seafood and meat dishes, with the freshest ingredients and never boring combinations. The appetizers are excellent, balanced in flavor and presentation; the first courses are a must-try, where tradition meets a touch of creativity. The service is impeccable: courteous staff, well-timed courses, and great attention to detail. The quality/price ratio is also excellent, considering the quality of the ingredients and the overall experience. In short, a restaurant worth discovering and that will leave you wanting to return. Congratulations to the entire staff!

09/11/2025: 🍋 Return to Meta: Emotions and Haute Cuisine at Tavernetta 58 We returned to Tavernetta 58, and once again, the experience was simply extraordinary. Raffaele, the owner, welcomed us with his usual kindness, his smile and attention to detail making every guest feel at home. Claudio accompanied us to the table, offering impeccable service and extraordinary guidance on a true tasting journey through creativity and tradition. We began with two appetizers that were a concentration of originality and technique: Essenza di Parmigiana, an eggplant in osmosis stuffed with Agerola provola, breaded with its peel powder and panko breadcrumbs—a play of textures and flavors that reinterprets a great classic with a modern twist. Octopus cooked at a low temperature with garlic and thyme, then glazed with teriyaki sauce and covered with a glaze made from the octopus's cooking water: a surprising dish, balanced and full of personality. For wine, we chose Biancolella di Ischia, a native white grape of the island: fragrant, elegant, and perfect to accompany the entire meal. The first courses lived up to expectations (and even exceeded): Tortello alla genovese, with a soft and flavorful filling, served over a velvety and intense Parmesan fondue. Terra Mare, a masterpiece: pasta buttons filled with Vico Equense caciocavallo cheese and shellfish bisque, with clams, raw scampi, and flavored green olive oil. A dish that elegantly and harmoniously expresses the territory between the sea and the hills. To conclude on a sweet note, two unforgettable desserts: Tiramisu, classic but perfectly executed. Ricordi Siciliani, a poem of flavors: creamy ricotta encased in a cylinder wrapped in pistachio icing, with chocolate chips, candied orange, and a crispy cannoli shell. Special praise goes to Chef Pasquale, a true interpreter of signature cuisine that combines technique, passion, and respect for the raw ingredients. In short: Tavernetta 58 is an unmissable stop for those seeking a refined yet authentic gastronomic experience, in a welcoming setting with meticulous attention to detail.
