30/05/2025: Registro la ns esperienza da dimenticare al punto vendita di piazza Poli, dove abbiamo trovato del personale ignorante, maleducato e arrogante! Abbiamo chiesto e pagato alla cassa un cono gelato gluten free: nel preparare il cono abbiamo fatto notare che il loro modo di procedere non era corretto al fine di garantirci la non contaminazione. Hanno asserito di non avere altre vaschette di gelato oltre a quelle esposte, ma la cosa assurda è che si sono rifiutati di attingere il gelato almeno dalla parte opposta a quella dove era depositata la spatola utilizzata per comporre i coni! "Non possiamo fare un buco nella vaschetta da un'altra parte", questa è stata la risposta! Il punto è che si gioca con la salute delle persone, nel nostro caso di un bambino! Se non siete in grado di gestire il gluten free, non lo fate!!! Alla fine ci siamo rimessi al loro buon cuore chiedendo di prepararci il gelato di un gusto del quale fosse disponibile una vaschetta non utilizzata... hanno attinto dal retrobottega, sperando nella loro correttezza! Mah...

27/05/2025: Nous avons dîner en couple dans ce restaurant, le 27 mai et avons commandé un melanger de fritures. En croquant dans une des fritures mon ami et tombé sur un morceau dur et s'est cassé une dent. Quand je l'ai fait remarqué au manager. Celui ci nous a fait semblant de ne pas comprendre. Puis nous a dit que c'était normal, ça devait être l'olive à l'intérieur et qu'il n'allait pas payer la note du dentiste pour nous. Quand je lui ait que ce n'était pas normal de tomber sur un morceau dur et de se casser une dent et alors que nous avions quand même payé la note, il nous a demandé de partir, qu'il allait appeler la police puis nous a insulté alors que nous partions. Je vous déconseille ce restaurant dont le manger racole lourdement les clients dans la rue, leur promettant une cuisine authentique alors que ce n'est pas le cas, qui n'a pas assumé le problème qui s'est produit et s'est montré insultant envers nous.
21/05/2025: 🚨🚨 NO COMAS AQUÍ!! El gerente camina por la calle de un lado a otro frente al restaurante usando su capacidad de hablar varios idiomas para arrear a los turistas desprevenidos para sentarse en su restaurante deficiente. Habla de la misma línea que este lugar ofrece auténtica cocina italiana no comida turística. Eso es un montón de BS y no podría estar más lejos de la verdad! No terminamos ni un solo plato, ni sabor, ni visión y desde luego ni fresco ni auténtico. El pan estaba rancio, el aceite de oliva de un extraño color claro con poco sabor y la salsa de ñoquis sabía como si saliera de un frasco. Nos alojamos en Roma, Isquia y Sorrento y es de lejos la peor comida que hemos tenido. Mi esposa y yo estamos absolutamente estupefactos por las críticas positivas, no estoy seguro de si se les paga o estas personas solo comieron en trampas turísticas como esta, pero no reflejan la verdadera mala experiencia de este restaurante. Sin mencionar que cuando llega la factura, le dan a todos la misma historia sobre cómo su máquina de tarjetas de crédito no funciona y lo presionan falsamente para que pague en efectivo para evitar cargos por su parte. Además de eso, durante nuestro viaje de dos semanas por toda Italia, este fue el ÚNICO lugar donde el servidor nos pidió una propina (también está estampado en la parte inferior del recibo en negrita negra que la propina no está incluida. ) Todo esto para decir por favor no cometa el mismo error que cometimos. Ahórrate la frustración y la terrible experiencia y evita Bollicine, su personal y su comida a toda costa. Hay muchos mejores y más auténticos lugares de comida a la vuelta de la esquina.

02/05/2025: After a few years we returned to the Da Caliendo tavern and this time I didn't like it (much better when it was facing the square), perhaps it was the fact of wanting to imitate the master chef's gourmet dishes but more than anything else you pay dearly and you leave fasting, tiny but very expensive dishes (in fact a couple next to us was complaining), in the end it was time to get home and we were still hungry. Conclusion: I won't go there again.

15/05/2025: We went here for a late dinner. They didn't have gluten free pasta for my partner, but did some substitutions in some dishes so we had octopus over a potato blend and a fresh sea bass in a tomato and potato broth. More potatos than we had been having, but it was actually a nice break and everything was great. My partner didn't want dessert, so I had their baba which was so good. The woman that runs the restaurant was very nice, and even though we don't speak much Italian and she doesn't speak much English we made it all work. And they didn't play any music, just let us listen to the lovely sound of the ocean in the night.

05/06/2025: We went for dinner, a typical restaurant in the neighborhoods, excellent food!!! We chose Neapolitan food, fried land, octopus Luciana style and pasta with Genoese ragù! Everything super tasty! And what is magnificent, the welcome of the staff, courtesy and friendliness that I believe you only find in Naples!!!
04/06/2025: We ended up here by chance...and not by chance we booked again. Excellent food, impeccable service (for the kindness of the guys and in particular of Arianna). Pleasant atmosphere, it feels like being at home...a recommended place if you happen to be in Naples in the Spanish Quarters

13/06/2025: Eating at Taverna Verde da Morzariello is like taking a leap into the past, in fact it is perhaps the oldest tavern in Ischia; the structure exudes history from the iron windows and the beautiful Ischian majolica floor of a beautiful green color, as if it had been put there yesterday. But tradition is the history of the recipes of the past, found above all in the dishes, simple as tradition requires, but rich in flavor and taste thanks to the love that the lady in the kitchen puts into them and that she defends with determination. From the appetizer to the dessert it was a continuous explosion of goodness: local cured meats and their garden vegetables in oil; hand-made croquettes; fresh fettuccine with rabbit sauce and then rabbit, the main dish of the island. The service was extremely attentive and pleasant for the chat at the end of the evening with the owner. Modest prices for the high quality of the dishes offered.

I strongly recommend booking in advance and letting yourself be guided through each proposal on the menu: every pizza is a small masterpiece that deserves to be discovered. One of the best pizzas I have ever had the pleasure of tasting.

10/05/2025: Excellent discovery. We tried various restaurants in the area but we missed this one but it was a perfect all-round experience. Waiter and room manager (or perhaps owner) very kind and helpful. The bubbles and small welcome appetizer are very welcome: they are those little things that make you understand the difference between those who work with passion and those who don't. This time we tried strictly the meat: fantastic entrecote, of excellent quality and cooked to perfection. We will be back soon to try the first courses (which we could see were equally excellent) and the other dishes. Keep it up!
05/05/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato qui le comunioni di mia figlia e mia nipote e devo dire che fin da subito c'è stata da parte di Stefania disponibilità nell'accontentare le nostre richieste. Abbiamo trascorso una giornata meravigliosa e ci tenevo a ringraziare Stefania perché siamo stati davvero bene, è stato come stare a casa nostra con la differenza che per una volta le nonne si sono rilassate a tavola con noi😅. È stato tutto perfetto, dall'accoglienza al servizio, passando ovviamente x il cibo e ci tenevo a ringraziare la cucina che è riuscita a starci dietro nonostante le nostre richieste e al personale di sala che è stato disponibile in tutto, senza togliere meriti agli altri su tutti volevo ringraziare Felice che mi ha "sopportata" per tutto il giorno😅 Se la festa è andata bene è stato anche merito dello staff ❤️ grazie di cuore

Perhaps it is due to the competition from the classic pizza and all the other culinary excellences of the Neapolitan tradition. Incidentally, you can already eat very well in Campania, let alone (I don't mind the other provincial capitals and their other local areas) in Naples where there is a very respectable offering. And it's not that this data should be like a shadow on everything that is new, organic or coming from other nations and places. If you have never eaten Seitan, it is understandable that you will tend not to enter a place like this. But let's say that if it is true, as it is, that an evaluation is not given only on the dishes that are served, then as the stars above suggest, there is also the environment, there is also the additional services that are offered (today I saw a football match), there is also the state of the bathrooms (I would say more than excellent), the courtesy of the staff or if there are special offers like today's: aperitif with bruschetta, olives and other appetizers plus a glass of wine (red to me) only €10. And this is enough to understand the value of the offer because in a Wine Bar a red wine by the glass (it depends on the type of wine) can cost around 6 euros alone (and we are not talking about the best qualities). And then just to make you feel the freshness, I can tell you that at the entrance there are boxes like those you see at greengrocers, full of fruit and vegetables. So you can be sure that these are not things that come out of cold storage. And listen to me: I worked in a supermarket and I also saw cockroaches, those not very nice big, red cockroaches.

15/05/2025: This was our go to for coffee every morning as it opened at 7am and was literally downstairs from our accommodation. Cappuccinos & fresh orange juice were great and our lovely waitress made me a special banana fruit plate every morning :)
07/05/2025: Great breakfast, very nice staff and absolutely great price! Here you can get the best croissant and brioche in Sorrento. We went here every day for breakfast and can only recommend it!
