Following the owner's response, I'd like to add that it's very interesting that the agreement also includes the non-issuance of a receipt. 16/05/2026: In the center of Naples, across from the cathedral, you wouldn't expect to find such a distinguished place among so many touristy eateries. A small, upscale restaurant serving traditional and more sophisticated dishes. Quality ingredients expertly combined, including the desserts. I won't go into further details about the dishes; I'll leave the pleasant surprise to you. Prices are reasonable, not excessive. The only downside is the very small tables...but that won't be a problem.

But if you want soul, flavor, and the kind of warmth that makes you feel like family—this is your spot. From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped by the smells of garlic, fresh basil, and simmering tomatoes. The taverna is rustic and small, but cozy, with checkered tablecloths, and walls covered in vintage photos that tell stories of decades past. The owner greeted us with a booming "Benvenuti!". The food? Absolute magic. I started with the mozzarella in carrozza, which was so creamy it practically melted on contact with my knife. For my main, I ordered the ziti alla genovese, tossed in a meat and sweet onion sauce that had clearly been simmering for hours. It was rich, savory, and deeply comforting. The wine list is entirely Italian and thoughtfully curated. Our server recommended a velvety Aglianico that paired perfectly with every course. Dessert was the showstopper: tiramisu that was light as a cloud, with just the right kick of espresso and a dusting of cocoa that made us close our eyes with every bite. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about every dish they brought out. The bill was reasonable. The hotel is beautifully located in Bacoli, offering a peaceful atmosphere and lovely surroundings that make it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a pleasant and stress-free stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel felt warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile, making the experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying, with a good selection to start the day right. Overall, Hotel Il Gabbiano exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bacoli, and I would definitely stay here again!

07/08/2026: Many friends have always spoken highly of this place, yet the reality far exceeded my expectations. Tavernetta Colauri isn't just a restaurant; you experience it completely. As soon as you arrive, you're immersed in a warm, welcoming setting, meticulously curated down to the smallest detail. The staff is extremely professional; we were looked after the entire time by Oreste, a delightful, professional, and extremely knowledgeable person. He pampered us with every course we requested, making us feel full and satisfied even just by carefully describing the dishes. His colleagues, too, are extremely helpful, professional, and always ready to welcome you with a smile. As for the food, the high quality and deliciousness of every dish, from appetizer to dessert, is indescribable. The prices are fair—in fact, reasonable—for everything this place offers. I highly recommend it!!!

11/07/2026: A very nice restaurant. We sat outside on the covered terrace, which was very cozy and charmingly decorated. The staff were all extremely courteous and welcoming. There were vegetarian dishes on the menu, but unfortunately no vegan options. However, the owner offered me a vegan dish that they could prepare on the spot. It was incredibly delicious – pure bliss. The restaurant is highly recommended; we will definitely be back. :)

14/06/2026: Always top notch. This place was born from a historic butcher shop. Everything you see in the dining room is carefully selected and, above all, top-quality. The meat is truly top-notch. Cleanliness and professionalism are a given. The same goes for the sandwiches. As soon as you enter, at the cashier, they give you a sheet of paper to build your own sandwich. During the short wait, you can eat a variety of delicious things: from their own fries to pork ribs with their homemade barbecue sauce, which is truly exceptional. In the meantime, the sandwich arrived. A spectacle. And the prices are absolutely reasonable. Excellent. There is no table service; they give you a number and when you hear it over the speakers, everything will be ready. They clean your table before and after. All the staff and owners are kind and helpful. I returned for lunch on Saturday to eat the meat. We tried the Angus. Both the meat and the sides were excellent. On Saturdays, they have a special lunch menu. I highly recommend it. Regarding parking, after 8:00 PM you can park anywhere, there's no charge. Was this helpful?

12/06/2026: Seven burgers were made right before my eyes (I don't remember the name of the chef who served me). I chose the type of meat, nice and lean. I saw it, everything was perfect in my eyes, beautiful. Then he added a piece and I told him, "I see it a little," and he started explaining to me that it was to prevent them from drying out, and I stopped there. I took them home, two cooked (once) and what can I say, fantastic, fantastic.

02/06/2026: We loved our room overlooking the water so waking up every morning was beautiful looking out the windows. The breakfast buffet each morning was delicious and plentiful. I loved sitting by the pool and actively keeping the pigeons away with the mini squirt guns. What we were so impressed about was how well your hotel put on a wedding for 100+. It was so romantic and executed so quickly. The food was delicious and the staff was so attentive. Thank you all so very much! Bravo!!!
