But why 4 and not 5 stars? An excellent place in Pompeii. Excellent cuisine with a spectacular wine list in a welcoming environment. Tasted a fantastic Taurasi by Benito Ferrara which truly upgraded a very high level dinner. Unfortunately the portions are really minimalist, I would have eaten double all the dishes. The extra-slim cheeses are also pleasant. The rabbit and cuttlefish are spectacular. I believe that in addition to the tasting menu (even smaller portions), a large menu should be added with a price supplement and 50% more food.

What can I say, a magnificent experience, every dish served was a journey, compliments to the chef and the staff.

We were "hosted" in this restaurant for Valentine's Day, with a special tasting menu for the day and what can I say, simply amazing! I specifically used the term hosted because it's so relaxing as if you were at home! Compliments!

There were two of us, we took a land tasting menu and a sea tasting menu (you do it yourself), both exquisite, impeccable service with an explanation in the smallest details of the cooking processes and processing of the raw materials. What can I say, chef Gianmarco is able to lead you to discover sensorial perceptions that you weren't even aware of. The tasting is a true explosion of flavours, all perfectly balanced. The service was also perfect.

Incredible food, I would literally stop over in Pompei again just to go to this restaurant. The service was a bit rushed, but the food made up for that.

Lui Porthos , oste contemporaneo tra i tavoli, bravo favellatore ed raffinato enologo. Aramis lo chef molto garbato, pochi fronzoli, essenziale. Le ricette di cucina sono un bene universale, un tesoro che appartiene a tutti i commensali e che come le sette note può essere combinato in migliaia e migliaia di modi e diventare melodia. Abbiamo optato per il percorso da 85 euro con degustazione di 3 calici di vino. Ambiente molto curato , ovunque c'è il tocco di una mano femminile. credenza al centro della sala con fiori colorati..un belvedere ovunque. Mice en place minimale con influenza orientale: equilibrio di stile, con forme geometriche semplici e pochi elementi gradevoli. Con una caraffa d'acqua personalizzata, ed una lampada da tavolo minimale senza fili, l'atmosfera si impreziosirebbe. La condizio sine qua non per una stella Michelin: la qualità degli ingredienti, l’armonia dei sapori, la padronanza delle tecniche, la personalità dello chef espressa nella sua cucina e, cosa altrettanto importante, la coerenza nel tempo e la variabilità stagionale del menù.
