This was the best restaurant and experience of our 4 days stay in Naples and surroundings. We went in family and each of us had a different choice but every dish was excellent, very different from all the touristic restaurant serving all the same classical dishes. The service was very friendly and welcoming. It was just perfect

We came here on our first night and had an amazing intro to Naples, we loved it so much we returned 2 nights after. If you love offals you have to try the soffritto napolitano! Again, thank you to the lovely team for their friendliness ! True tradition and slow food ethics - a must try in Naples !!

A gastronomic guarantee in the center of Naples, where it is increasingly difficult to eat like it used to.
Lots of courtesy, nice climate, small but charming place, amazing dishes cooked like grandma used to make. Honest prices. Advised!

A true gem of a restaurant a stone's throw from the Monastery of the same name... Thanks to the happy advice of a Neapolitan friend I found the place where I will return to eat every time I come to Naples (in one week I went back twice... after all it is not possible to taste all the delicious dishes offered in one go 🙂)... I highly recommend booking in advance... (there is always a queue of people outside who, having not booked, patiently wait for a table to become available) . Try it, you will thank me as I will never stop doing with my friend.

La Taverna a Santa Chiara è un locale seppure piccolo, davvero accogliente, ben curato ed arredato dove è possibile assaggiare le specialità (cucinate ad arte) della cucina napoletana.
Sono ritornato già diverse volte e devo ammettere che la qualità del cibo è davvero sublime.
Il piatto che consiglio è certamente la pasta e patate con la provola, ma anche la parmigiana di melanzane e le polpette al ragù sono cucinate al top e ti fanno venire la voglia di restare seduti fino alla chiusura per assaggiare tutto il menù.
Il personale è gentilissimo ed accogliente ed i prezzi sono davvero onesti considerando la bontà del cibo offerto.
Complimenti, mi rivedrete spesso (non è una minaccia!!) :-))

Sembra quasi impossibile, ma esiste ancora buna trattoria non turistica in una delle più belle zone di Napoli, ma ahimè invasa da locali acchiappa turisti.
Cucina di terra della tradizione napoletana fatta come si deve, buon vino, personale cortese e amante del proprio lavoro.
