20/10/2025: I stayed with Mrs. Marisa over the weekend, and I can assure you she's a warm person. My daughter forgot a stuffed animal she's very fond of, and she took care of sending it back to me at her own expense, without asking for money. What can I say? She's truly an exceptional person. Besides her great humanity, the B&B is super clean and has an excellent breakfast. I highly recommend her for a relaxing weekend. ❤️

14/02/2026: The pizza was good. I had the Viva Pulcinella pizza with a ricotta-filled crust. I also tried the paella my colleague ordered. It was good, but I didn't find it exceptional enough to be a must-try. The battered zucchini were excellent. The best I've ever had. The location is nice and the staff is very friendly. I recommend it.

20/12/2025: Warm and welcoming place, we were in a group, we had an appetizer, (raw ham, a ricotta, a mozzarella, potatoes and peppers, a bruschetta with lard and an omelette, then two platters of grilled meat with salad and dessert, all accompanied by local wine and then bitters and grappa.. excellent food, nothing to say, just a little expensive....

02/03/2026: Excellent quality of all the ingredients and excellent wine list, the only criticism is the quantity. The appetizer was certainly minimal, just a bite of three different dishes, but the really poor one was the first. A forkful and that's it for 15 euros. No one wants a trucker's dish, but a portion yes, rather than a taste to see if it's cooked.
19/01/2026: I didn't eat well and I don't recommend this restaurant. Again, based on my experiences. The service was inattentive, careless, and unorganized, which is evident in the dishes. The "convivial" three-course appetizer (€30) was for two people; since there were four of us, we ordered two. The cod salad resembled a revisited Insalata di rinforzata, which was truly awful. The cod was old and flavorless (I thought it had been soaked too long), pickled cauliflower (the wrong ingredient), and jarred pitted olives. The stuffed pepper-like dish was made with pickled peppers (a huge mistake), the bean and chestnut soup (mediocre), and a sort of turnip greens and polenta tart (my favorite). First courses: two tagliolini with truffles and two maccaronare (a typical Irpinia dish). Tagliolini with truffle, which, again in my opinion, was made with frozen truffle, even though the waiter had assured me it was fresh. Worse still, it was full of dirt (the freezing is confirmed by the fact that if you brush a fresh truffle, you immediately notice if there's still dirt to be cleaned). The maccaronara (fresh pasta with fresh tomato sauce) was also awful. Fresh pasta of mediocre quality, lacking the "callousness" that good semolina would have, served undercooked perhaps to compensate for the lack of it. The sauce was watery and flavorless. The desserts were also mediocre. Incidentally, we received a third dessert we hadn't ordered, consisting of a tart cut into four pieces, perhaps apple, but, again in my opinion, old and dried out, which we also found on the bill (which was promptly cancelled after I pointed this out). In conclusion, I still think: poor value for money and I would avoid some pseudo-smart tricks, diverting the focus on the choice of raw materials and how to treat them.

20/01/2026: Experience on January 19th and 20th, 2026. Unfortunately, this restaurant was practically unavailable to us as it's not a popular spot in winter, but this didn't detract from the impeccable service we received. All the dishes were delicious, and the Taurasi Riserva red wine was every bit as good as a Barolo! Two memorable days!

The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, with that effortless Italian charm that makes you feel instantly at home. The service is world class, professional, warm, and perfectly timed. The food is exceptional. Each dish is refined, full of flavor, and made with incredible respect for ingredients. You can taste the passion, modern-tradition, and creativity that define the very best of Italian cuisine. This restaurant absolutely deserves a Michelin star. Dining here is not just eating in Italy, it is experiencing Italy at its finest.

04/02/2026: For lovers of pizza by the slice, excellent quantities at a good price. Pizzas for all palates and all tastes, nice and crispy and cooked to perfection. I bend strictly in the Avellino dialect to better enjoy the pizza in its goodness.

08/01/2026: Sometimes it seems almost unbelievable to find a four-star pizzeria in a small provincial town. Pizzeria Avelli is one of these surprises: without fanfare and without extensive social media use, it still manages to hold its own against many renowned pizzerias. Located in the heart of Quindici, in the province of Avellino, it is an example of quality that speaks for itself, without the need for grand proclamations.
31/12/2025: Pizzeria Avelli was a fantastic discovery and, from now on, a must-visit for my family and I. Local Irpinia ingredients, carefully selected and refined, but always with full respect for tradition, create an authentic, top-quality pizza. The dough is extremely light and digestible: even the next day, there's no discomfort or heartburn, which unfortunately can sometimes happen elsewhere. The pizzas are delicious, flavorful, and beautiful to look at; the photos speak for themselves. A special mention goes to the dessert of artisanal panettone accompanied by Quindici vanilla ice cream, a truly out-of-this-world combination that perfectly rounded off the dinner. The owners' courtesy, helpfulness, and attentiveness were the icing on the cake, making us feel welcomed and pampered. A highly recommended experience, where quality and passion shine through in every detail. I can't wait to return! P.S. Highly recommended are the pizzas: “Tonnara Avelli” (good and delicate) and “A purpett” (with real local meatballs, delicious!)

26/01/2026: I went for dinner last Saturday after a long absence, and I must say I rediscovered, perhaps even improved, the good food I'd enjoyed in the past. The welcome was excellent, and the owner made everyone feel at ease. The place is also very charming. Highly recommended.

18/01/2026: I had lunch today at this restaurant, which I found by chance during a day running errands between Puglia and Campania. My husband and I ate wonderfully; there wasn't a single dish I didn't enjoy. They served us a selection of dishes they had selected, and I found them to be elegant, tasty, made with excellent ingredients, with distinctive yet delicate flavors. Congratulations!

This restaurant is truly a treasure chest hidden in plain sight. Each dish embodies an idea and a journey, and the presentation of each is a small but powerful canvas where the love and passion of those who created it are clearly visible. I was particularly struck by the linguine with pumpkin and toasted hazelnut cream and the honey-glazed duck breast, red berries, and escarole. The dishes are captivating in their simple aesthetics of color and elegance, and upon tasting them, you can then experience a harmonious balance of flavors, which the presentation only hinted at. This place is a sweet experience, a meeting point of love for the land, tradition, and passion.
