19/04/2026: One of the few in the area with good prices and excellent, generous dishes rich in truffles. The staff is friendly and fast. On weekends, it's best to book if you want an early lunch. They've improved over time, and everything remains high-quality except the price. Even after so many years, you still appreciate the family atmosphere and the friendliness of Santino and Valerio, who rush to fulfill customer requests.

11/11/2025: After 10 years of absence, the last time I went to the old establishment, and I brought some of my colleagues from Brescia to let them eat the quality fish and in abundance not drawn on the plate and I made a great impression; they couldn't believe their eyes at how much food they had brought us of all qualities. Here in the new establishment I always found the same spectacular welcome, always fresh, genuine food, Diego and a great chef, Papa Sabatino, always a great gentleman, excellent service. I booked on Saturday afternoon, it was packed, but for friends, as always, they found a table. Thanks Diego, thanks Sabatino, when I return I swear I'll book the week before, hahahahah, a hug, you are the best.

06/05/2026: We went for lunch on a Sunday, having booked several days in advance. The place is quaint and very welcoming (it's lovely to sit in the garden during this time of year). We opted for the €35 tasting menu per person (believe us, these aren't just tastings). Quality and abundance go hand in hand at this rustic innkeeper, and Roberto is also an excellent and friendly host.

02/11/2025: It was my favorite pizzeria in town, but I ordered a "don't call me tuna and onion," but while chewing, I felt something hard and found a piece of broken glass under my tooth. They replaced the pizza and simply told me, "It must have been the tuna can." Unfortunately, I won't be returning and I won't recommend it because using tuna from a presumably chipped can is unacceptable. The customer's safety and health must not go unnoticed; if I had inadvertently swallowed that piece, I would have ended up in the hospital.

31/10/2025: Fantastic place, in the heart of Avellino. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food is very good.

12/07/2026: Evening at Borgo, a restaurant we've read interesting things about that deserve further investigation. Saturday night. We made a reservation for four people at 9:30 PM. We arrived ten minutes early and, after informing one of the waiters of our arrival, we calmly waited for our assigned table to become available. Meanwhile, six locals arrived and, rudely and blatantly, asked a waiter to find them a table, even though they hadn't made a reservation. And, of course, they were given a table. And, of course, they sat down before us. After pointing this out to the owners, they attempted to make excuses, saying that the aforementioned gentlemen had made a reservation. After realizing we weren't born yesterday, they apologized. Not that being provincial is a fault, but it's something that defines you. If you want to elevate yourself and aspire to a "different" dimension, these are attitudes and behaviors that need to be eliminated. There's still a long way to go... As for dinner, we opted for four sandwiches (al borgo, two casareccio, and one with mortadella), which, unfortunately, fell short of our expectations. It's certainly due to our limited culinary skills. Many small details, including the service, could be greatly improved; the waiter, for example, didn't ask us how we'd like our burger cooked. Furthermore, we waited almost an hour for our dishes. After the sandwiches, we ordered two pizzas (margherita and mafariello), which, upon first bite, had a slight bitterness, perhaps due to an oven that wasn't perfectly clean. It's a shame, because the pizza itself is a good product, made with and with quality ingredients. I don't know, in all honesty, if our dinner was influenced by what happened earlier in the evening. I don't think so. A bad evening in the kitchen can certainly happen, especially given the relatively late hour at which we dined. Maybe a certain weariness has set in, who knows. The fact is that, as far as I'm concerned, I certainly won't be curious to find out more about it in the future. A question of provincialism...

20/06/2026: I'm back at this pizzeria for the second time and can only confirm my excellent initial impression. The pizza is truly superb, both for the lightness and quality of the dough and the refinement and deliciousness of the toppings. This evening, in particular, we tried the "Nocina": a real discovery, absolutely spectacular! The outdoor location is also noteworthy, truly charming and perfect for enjoying the evening. The fried foods could be slightly improved, although they're still good, but with a little more oomph they'd be on par with the pizzas. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

22/10/2025: Truly a great place! I have to be honest... before coming here, I thought I'd eat the usual pizza from the Avellino area, but instead... It was truly one of the best I've ever eaten in my life! Good service with friendly and helpful staff, and very quick delivery. A small place, but truly meticulously maintained, down to the smallest details, like cleanliness and decor. And as my grandfather used to say: Good things come in small packages! I'll definitely be back ♥️😁

01/08/2025: Excellent, locally sourced products and a superb knowledge of the sacred art of pizza. The prices are absolutely competitive and reasonable. From classic to modern pizzas, you can indulge in any gastronomic direction. Not to mention the vast selection of fried foods: lightness and crispiness brought to such a level that it almost comes naturally to say "yeah....make me a big tray!!!" The friendliness and kindness of the staff make you feel like part of the family. Oh well.... I'm marking a 😀 in my weekly diary 😀😀

23/05/2026: When love for the land combines with passion and study, this union can only give birth to an idea, a structured product with solid roots. "Agricultural beer" is all this and more; the Serrocroce brewery is not your average craft brewery; it's the perfect combination of land, agriculture, and knowledge. From idea to beer, from land to glass: a circle completed thanks to the vision of a young man who loves his land and is curious enough. "Hoppy" beer is a beer to be drunk down to the last bubble, offering aromas that stay with you until your return.
