24/11/2024: Posto perfetto per un pranzo/cena tra amici o in famiglia. Orazio e Lorenzo molto gentili, attenti e simpatici.Pietanze ottime di qualità, ben cucinate e ben presentate. Da ritornare sicuramente per assaggiare la zuppa di castagne,le pappardelle ai funghi porcini e perché no una frittura di calamari, che aveva un bell'aspetto ma non siamo riusciti ad ordinarli perché eravamo strapieni. 30/03/2025: We stopped by chance on a Sunday for lunch and it was a pleasant discovery. The internal room was full I asked if we could stay on the veranda with a beautiful view towards the sanctuary. The lady who welcomed us as well as the rest of the staff was very kind, excellent dishes including gluten-free meals, excellent dessert 🥰. Excellent price

20/05/2025: My recent visit to this bar turned out to be one of the worst experiences in a public place I have ever had. We were a group of friends, a little cheerful and in a good mood, as often happens when you go out to have fun. Unfortunately, the situation degenerated in a completely unjustified and unacceptable way. What was supposed to be a carefree evening turned into a nightmare. I was wrongly accused of being rude and insulting the waiter, when the reality was anything but: I was simply joking and laughing with my friends. Instead of clarifying or handling the situation professionally, I received a verbal attack from the entire staff, including the owner. The climax was when one of the staff threatened me physically, saying that he would slap me. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any context, let alone in a public place. I was made to feel like the "bad guy" in the situation, when in reality it was the opposite: education and respect were completely lacking on their part. I would strongly advise against this place to anyone looking for a welcoming environment and professional service. The arrogance and disrespect shown towards me was shocking. There are many other bars in the area where you can have a pleasant evening without the risk of being verbally attacked and threatened. Avoid this place if you do not want to ruin your evening.

20/05/2025: A Nightmare Experience: Threats and Abuse in a Place to Absolutely Avoid I was absolutely shocked and disgusted by my recent experience at this bar. My friends and I were simply there to have a drink and enjoy some fun, without disturbing or disrespecting anyone in any way. Despite this, we were falsely accused and treated incredibly rudely by the staff. The situation escalated to the point where I was threatened with being beaten up, despite being the victim of an unprovoked verbal attack. I felt intimidated and deeply uncomfortable in an environment that should be welcoming and relaxing. An experience like this is unacceptable and I would not wish it on anyone. This is not a place where you feel safe or welcome. I would strongly advise anyone not to set foot in this place. There are many other bars in Milan where hospitality and respect for customers are fundamental values, this is definitely not one of them. Stay away!

16/04/2025: I travel throughout Italy for work and have been frequenting Portobello for many years. As a hotel, this is a good three star. As a restaurant it is simply one of the best in all of Italy where I have ever eaten. The pasta is only Armando from the nearby pasta factory. Despite being far from the sea, I suggest the fish because it is so good quality and so well cooked it is difficult to eat it elsewhere. I suggest asking if there is anything off the menu and always, and I mean always, order the side dish of escarole or chicory. The meat is also of excellent quality and the rib-eye tastes like a rib-eye and doesn't have that bland taste that the meat that is increasingly being foisted on us in other restaurants often has. In short, at more than honest prices, I guarantee you a five-star luxury dinner.
