28/09/2025: The place is truly beautiful, with a view of the river that's worth admiring. It's a place where you can dine immersed in an enchanting landscape... it's a shame the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. The portions are tiny—and that's coming from someone who's certainly not a big eater!—but here they really overdo it. I've attached some photos to prove it. The chestnut, bean, and porcini mushroom soup was so thin it was almost like broth (€15). Luckily, the bread was fresh, and despite etiquette, you can add it for a bit of substance. I had the tagliolini with pumpkin cream and toasted walnuts. They were decent, but I had to ask for some parmesan to add some flavor (€15). Finally, we ordered a plate of braised beef to share: in the photo, you can clearly see that the portion of mashed potatoes was barely half a spoonful... good, yes, but the portion is truly ridiculous! (€18).

29/09/2025: Out-of-this-world hospitality! In addition to tastings of various cakes, tarts, savory treats like taralli, chips, etc., there was also panettone—and they even had Frangelico, by the way! Our cheerful group had a wonderful time with Gianfranco and his fantastic staff! We'd love to come back! ♥️👍😋

20/09/2025: We found ourselves by chance on a Saturday afternoon in Solofra. Excellent lemon granita and a taste of the 2025 chocolate panettone, soft and delicious. Recommended.

04/10/2025: Terrible experience. Extremely high prices for the quality offered (16 euros for a gluten-free Margherita and a takeaway Diavola). Gluten-free pizza was a complete failure, the dough had an unpleasant aftertaste, full of oil and watered-down tomato sauce. Definitely worth revisiting.

24/07/2025: Everything was perfect, the facility was amazing and well-maintained! We celebrated our wedding there and it was fantastic: delicious food, super helpful and knowledgeable staff. The owner, Giancarlo Molinario, was helpful and very courteous! Highly recommended!

09/07/2025: A beautiful, spacious, and welcoming location. The food was excellent, of excellent quality, enjoyed by all the guests. Giancarlo, the owner, and the entire staff were always available, attentive to every detail, and capable of satisfying our every need. They oversaw the entire organization of the event down to the smallest detail and with great professionalism, making it unique, elegant, and distinctive. The venue boasts several rooms with beautiful views, allowing us to accommodate guests from far and wide. The cake stand was set up in the garden. All this accompanied by fireworks and streamers for each guest, making it a unique, romantic, and unforgettable moment... At the end of the lunch, they set up a beautiful and generous buffet on the terrace, featuring various characteristic corners. The venue is spacious and well-organized, ideal for hosting even a large number of people without sacrificing elegance and comfort. On the top floor is the swimming pool, where you can admire a beautiful view that surrounds the entire structure. Highly recommended, we couldn't have made a better choice.

06/10/2025: I stayed at this hotel for one night. The room was clean, spacious, well-organized, with a mini-fridge stocked with complimentary small bottles and a spacious closet. The only flaw was the bathroom, which was too small for people with disabilities. The staff and owner were wonderful, kind, and ready to accommodate any need. We had a great time. I'll consider staying here again if I need it again. The bar staff were simply the best.

02/10/2025: Great experience! We booked eight rooms at this hotel for my brother's wedding guests, and we couldn't have made a better choice! All our guests were extremely satisfied with their stay. The central location was a huge plus, allowing everyone to get around easily. Special mention goes to the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms and common areas, and the excellent, rich and varied breakfast, which was a fantastic way to start the day. Furthermore, a great strength is the staff: always incredibly kind, helpful, and ready to accommodate our every request. They handled the group and individual needs with professionalism and a smile. Many of our guests also had the pleasure of dining at the hotel restaurant and raved about it, confirming the high quality of the dinner offerings. We highly recommend this hotel for both individual stays and for organizing groups, as was our case.

02/08/2025: An institution in Avellino. May they survive and prosper for another thousand years still be invaluable. One of the few places where you can eat something good for just a few euros. Let's hope it stays that way.

10/06/2025: It is part of my childhood memories (80s) with my mother every time we went up to Avellino before taking the bus back home in Piazza Libertà a fixed stop at the Romana pizzeria and by magic everything passed tiredness tantrums disappointment for a purchase not made.... Now after about forty years I take my children there every time I can and the pizza is always the same the same taste "t'ha piego" identical! Memories and not just in a slice of pizza. Always great and always like this!!!!

26/09/2025: Located on Mercogliano Avenue, the "Castrum Pub" is a must-try for a great sandwich. The ingredients are top-quality, and the paella is also delicious, served only on Tuesdays and Fridays by reservation. The extensive rum selection is presented with sweet treats that set the stage for a fine cigar. The decor is beautiful and the service is efficient.

19/07/2025: Discovered by chance, it was a great experience. Friendly staff, excellent food, and a welcoming atmosphere.

12/10/2025: A nice place to spend an evening, even though they also work lunches; the owners are very friendly. As for the food, the buffets and pizzas are good. The meat is a sore point; a family of four would each cost €100 for a slice of meat, which is too much, and they don't even mention that the price of raw materials has increased.

07/10/2025: I was expecting homemade pasta, but they "bought it" instead. I was expecting a ragù, but instead I ate a sauce with a little minced meat. I was expecting to smell animals to give credibility to the dishes, but instead I didn't see any... well... not to mention the waiter, who was emptying the plates in front of me and then snatched a plate away from a fellow diner while she was still eating...
