19/02/2024: I go to Lapio very often at Aperifiano and the aperitif is always very welcome. It is the right combination between the simplicity of the food of the Irpinia area and the refinement of new flavours. In other words... It is appreciated by those who are not used to Irpinia flavours, but also by those who try them every day... Because such are the combinations of tastings offered, which are always a discovery and a pleasure for the palate! The home-produced Taurasi is excellent and the cocktails offered are very special. The prices are very honest. Absolutely a gem from Lapio, not surprisingly my favorite place.

28/02/2024: The trip was worth it The Maeba restaurant in Ariano Irpino is an authentic culinary gem. The journey to get there was not at all easy but it was absolutely worth it. The welcoming atmosphere and the very attentive, polite and courteous owner Nico in the dining room create, with his illustrative ability, an unforgettable gastronomic experience. The dishes, prepared by the young chef Salvatore, now in his ninth year of presence in this restaurant where he grew professionally, are made with fresh ingredients, of excellent quality and expertly combined and, I assure you, they are a triumph of distinct flavors between They. The location, a former ancient oil mill, is very beautiful, well maintained, well furnished, clean with tables well spaced apart. Absolutely not to be missed is a visit to the natural caves inside the dining room. Nico has a polite and reserved manner both in serving and illustrating dishes and his experience and culture regarding the wines that he combines with great skill with the dishes is evident. Worth highlighting is the excellent cellar made up of important wines. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant, believing, without fear of contradiction, that it is an unmissable destination for lovers of good food. The Michelin star, of course, is well deserved.

The impression is that form prevails a little over substance because the dishes are more beautiful than good considering the expectations that the restaurant and the service induce in the customer.

06/01/2024: Family-run pizzeria where a close-knit young couple carries out their restaurant project by networking with small and peculiar local producers. She seems to be responsible for a bit of everything, managing the large room and welcoming customers, she serves her genuine and sensational fried food made by her, she advises customers as best as possible with extreme professionalism and kindness, he is the pizza chef with the hands of gold which deals with the management of a dough with significant hydration and long leavening. A very tasty dough that goes very well with the balanced seasonings which in some combinations become special thanks to some products sourced from small local companies, such as Mozzarella , the village sausage, the artisanal preserves and even the wines and craft beers. A reality that I never expected to find at fifteen... a beautiful and delicious reality. Ps if you are lucky you can also find some delicious homemade desserts made by the landlady (like everything else including the top Pings of some special pizzas). Delight and perhaps the only flaw of the place... they are not always available! A piece of advice, take a ride at fifteen, it's worth it!!!

02/12/2023: Excellent fried foods, prepared at home by the owner. Pizza with good dough, perfect cooking and selected ingredients. I also recommend the homemade desserts, I enjoyed a fantastic crumbled cream and black cherry. I recommend tasting bitters from the Ianniciello liqueur factory. Attentive and courteous service. We will definitely return.
