A convivial lunch with friends. An experience to be repeated. Each dish is a quest for distinct and distinctive flavors. The fennel Genovese is worth highlighting. Delicate and authoritative, a first course worthy of a star. The meat is aged and cooked with mastery. The millefeuille is a dessert, structured and freshly prepared. I would perhaps make it a little bigger because it's too good and goes too quickly. We'll definitely be back.

A restaurant where you're welcomed to a well-appointed table. I appreciate the detailed descriptions of what's served on each plate. The cuisine is high-quality and uses common, local ingredients. The meat and game dishes are dishes you probably won't find on the menu, along with delicious first courses and vegetables that, when you taste them, make you say, "Why can't I eat like this every day?"

We were here on Saturday for lunch. We called for 3 pm and they immediately accepted our request to eat for lunch. There were 4 of us, two adults and two children. Excellent place, well-kept and very clean. The staff were kind and knowledgeable in recommending the good things their chefs have prepared. Tasty dishes, good value for money. Generoso and Davide in the kitchen created delicious dishes. Highly recommended. Well done. If you are in the area, stop by and you won't regret it. Definitely going back.

I went to the Osteria del Gallo e del Volpe on Saturday evening. Although I'm from the province of Avellino, I learned about this place thanks to the Michelin guide. For two, we ordered: an Easter appetizer, soup with Taranto beans and pork belly in teriyaki sauce, laticauda lamb, smoked duck, mille-feuille with Chantilly and dark chocolate, a glass of water, and a glass of Taurasi. Total: €101. Excellent value. Elegant location, exquisite and well-presented food, and a generous glass of Taurasi. Friendly service, always attentive and never intrusive. Negative notes I didn't like the vegetables served with the smoked duck. (The duck was excellent!) The laticauda lamb was delicious, but one of the chops was a bit overcooked and therefore a bit stringy. The service was a bit annoyed by our presence, especially the young man, at the end of the evening, especially since we were the last customers of the evening (so they were quite justified). Excellent experience, worth trying again.

Osteria is just the name; as soon as you enter, you feel like you're in a high-end restaurant, a "starred" one, to be precise. We booked for Saturday and it certainly lived up to expectations. The tomato soup entree was truly delicious, and the first courses we ordered were beautifully presented and even better in flavor. Perhaps only the dessert didn't live up to the quality of the main courses. The wine list is extensive and the service excellent. Prices are commensurate with the quality. Nothing to complain about.

I went for a family lunch and was greeted by competent staff in a refined atmosphere. The quality of the ingredients and the skillful preparation distinguish this osteria. The key point is the price, which may seem higher than average but is justified. The owner, a very polite person, accompanied us to the door and took our coats from the cloakroom (I'm what you called a man because I was only wearing a shirt on that cold day 😂). Recommended.

Osteria del Gallo e della Volpe is a guaranteed success every time. Excellent cuisine, high-quality ingredients, and a consistently welcoming atmosphere. A truly well-curated top-notch wine selection. Friendly and attentive service. The tagliolini with truffles are fantastic!

Excellent. Excellent products, very well cooked. The pancotto appetizer is exceptional. The only concern about returning is the portions are too small, especially the first courses. Minimal portions are honestly not good, also because the price range is quite high. No one wants a large plate, or even just a forkful!

Everything was excellent. The prices were average for the quality of the products! If I had to find a flaw, I wasn't crazy about the dessert.
