04/04/2024: We arrived on Easter Monday in Nusco, after hours, and were welcomed with exquisite kindness and delicious goodness! Unmissable are the appetizers with delicious hams and cheeses, the lasagna and paccheri, the tasty roast meats and the excellent pastiera! Highly recommended!

31/03/2024: We had lunch on Easter Sunday so we had a fixed menu available where however there was the possibility of choosing the first course. Already from the starter we were very satisfied, the products were fresh and of excellent quality. The first courses were very good and the meat was really well cooked, followed by fruit and dessert. Really excellent value for money, I recommend it to anyone who loves authentic cuisine. A special thanks to Carmine and his wife, very friendly.

28/02/2024: The trip was worth it The Maeba restaurant in Ariano Irpino is an authentic culinary gem. The journey to get there was not at all easy but it was absolutely worth it. The welcoming atmosphere and the very attentive, polite and courteous owner Nico in the dining room create, with his illustrative ability, an unforgettable gastronomic experience. The dishes, prepared by the young chef Salvatore, now in his ninth year of presence in this restaurant where he grew professionally, are made with fresh ingredients, of excellent quality and expertly combined and, I assure you, they are a triumph of distinct flavors between They. The location, a former ancient oil mill, is very beautiful, well maintained, well furnished, clean with tables well spaced apart. Absolutely not to be missed is a visit to the natural caves inside the dining room. Nico has a polite and reserved manner both in serving and illustrating dishes and his experience and culture regarding the wines that he combines with great skill with the dishes is evident. Worth highlighting is the excellent cellar made up of important wines. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant, believing, without fear of contradiction, that it is an unmissable destination for lovers of good food. The Michelin star, of course, is well deserved.

24/03/2024: Let's say that one wouldn't expect a restaurant like this, with dishes mostly based on fresh fish, in the Irpinia countryside. In reality the place, which seen from the street appears totally anonymous, has a large car park at the back and a well-furnished room in a modern style. As I was saying, the menu essentially offers seafood dishes, although there are also some land-based choices. The fish is fresh and well cooked: both the first and second courses are very good. Good choice of wines, mostly local, both white and red. Attentive and very friendly service and delivery times of the dishes also quite fast. The price is average for places like this. Ultimately a good place to eat fish in an area usually known for other types of dishes.

17/02/2024: Very nice and welcoming place. Low prices for the food offered. The tagliolini with truffle and the trofie with pesto and ricotta with lemon are excellent. Pork fillet among the best I've ever eaten in terms of quality and cooking, but the combination with the sauces had something off. The fact of not bringing the menu to the table makes no sense. Ultimately it would be worth giving a little more than 4 stars but for the value for money and the correct discount (the fork) applied at the checkout I give it 5.

Nel cuore di Volturara , al calore di un camino acceso si ha la sensazione di essere a casa . Proprietario cordiale sempre attento nei particolari dei piatti proposti con la collaborazione di Michele impeccabile nel consigliare il meglio. Trascorsa li la domenica a pranzo , sublime la zuppa di fagioli nella vasta carrellata di antipasti , a seguire c è l imbarazzo della scelta tra vari primi ricercati tra cui le fettuccine tipiche con spolverata abbondante di tartufo. Consigliato il tenerissimo maialino con patate al forno. A seguire un tortino dal cuore caldo di cioccolato ... delizia da provare. Ci ritorneremo
